My philosophy of bridging the knowledge and understanding between patients and doctors has successfully provided the best dental care to my patients and their families. Besides the true joy of bringing smiles to patients, I have the core belief that patient care is based on understanding and trust. I love making people smile and enjoy serving all patients, especially children and the elderly population.
I graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1998. I worked at a couple cosmetic dental offices in Pennsylvania from 1998-2002. Starting 2001, I had the privilege of working with underserved Medicaid patients when I was blessed to work under the tutelage of Dr. John T. Walsh and the late Dr. William C. Hawks. Dr. Walsh had five Medicaid offices and offered me the opportunity to manage my current office in Lexington which I took over in 2004.
I am licensed to practice dentistry in Virginia but I work primarily at my current office in Lexington, North Carolina. For many years, I spent much of my time assisting elderly patients, and providing the best, yet affordable dental care to Veterans and the community. I always look forward to participating in the annual Give a Kid a Smile Program and Operation Smile Charity Gala. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
On my days off, I enjoy dining and spending time with my wife, daughter, and family in Virginia. We have three siblings who are also dentists in the Northern Virginia area. I also enjoy traveling to Virginia to spend time with my wife's family, playing video games, fixing computers, and working on our koi fish pond.

Dr Hoang DMD PLLC is a great guy who gets to know his patients doesn't matter who you are he & his staff treat everyone with respect and kindness. That actually makes a lot to people now a days. I definitely recommend Dr Hoang DMD. PLLC. 5s from me & my family.

1st visit today and I can not tell you how Amazing & Friendly each and Everyone I met was. I was nervous but soon felt relaxed. Dental Assistant and Dr. Purdy & Dr. Hoang we're AWESOME ! I am so Happy I found them !!!

By far the WORST dentist in Lexington. Absolutely no customer service skills. Not clean at all, and just an overall horrible experience. I wouldn't go there again if you paid me.

Hygienists are amazing. Great encounters with Dr. Anthony. However Dr. Purdy cursed at me while in the chair durning an exam and I left mid consult asked for the manager (who is Dr. Anthony's wife) and she & the Dr. Purdy said I was lying meanwhile the hygienist came and apologized to me for the experience and then the staff "deactivated" my profile. Worst experience I have ever encountered. Felt so horrible dealing with the office since the situation and then finding out when calling for a cleaning I was no longer a patient. TERRIBLE experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Great practice, atmosphere, and people from top to bottom. Treated with respect the entire visit. Took the time and worked me in the same day within a couple hours of calling asking to be seen for pain in my teeth. Thankful for these great people. Would Recommend to anyone needing a dentist to go to Dr. Anthony Hoang's office.

Very bad dentist office cancelled my wifes appointment with no notice. The young girls working there dont keep track of patients and paperwork. They Tried charging my wife $800 that we already paid and if we did not take a picture of the payment they would have never seen my wife again, they do not care about you whatsoever.

Made my first appt with Dr Hoang. Got a call the day of the appt telling me to be there 2 hrs earlier than the original appt time. Mary stated she didnt know who made the appt because they are on lunch. I told her I couldn't make the new time because I had to go to my previous dentist to pick up my xrays. She said I needed to make a new appt. She was extremely rude with me as if I made the mistake.

Absolutely terrible service. Never in my life had I waited 2 hours for a service. I had a dentist appointment scheduled for today at 10:00 am. I arrived and signed it at Dr.Anthony N. Hoang's office at 9:44 am. I waited in the waiting room and watch time pass by. At 10:15 am someone comes out to tell me that they are running and it may be 30-45 minutes. I'm like "okay, I'll just go wait in the car." He says they can give me a call when it's okay for me to come in. It's around 10:45 and I get a call. The secretary says "we're running behind 30-45 mins" and I asked does she mean an additional 30-45 mins. She said yes. At this point, I'm a little annoyed but still decided to wait and just go get some food. I come back and call the office at 11:30 am. She says I can come in. By the way she said it I could tell she was just saying it so that I would still be waiting. So I go in, sit down, and finally I'm called back. I'm sitting there at 12:00 PM and decided to ask for a refund because she said to pay my fee before being seen. I say all this to say, I am looking for a new dentist office because I will not go back. Also to remind you, never pay for a service before you receive it.

I have not been to the dentist in years and my anxiety level is 10 when it comes to dentist. I saw how Dr. Anthony treated my daughter on one of her visits and figured I would give them a try. Since I haven't been to the dentist in years I needed a deep cleaning. When I tell you between Dr. Anthony and Stormie, they have made this cleaning a breeze! I still get nervous going but they NEVER hurt me, NEVER make me feel like I'm at fault. I am so grateful to have them in my life now! Yes I'm still nervous about going to the dentist but with time my anxiety has gotten better since I have been going to Dr. Anthony.

Awesome! I am a gagger and hate going to the dentist. But Stormy always puts me at ease and makes sure she does not hit my gag spots. Dr. Hong is very personal with his patients and always sets a good mood in the office. These guys are awesome! These guys are far above the other dentist offices I have visited in the past.

Once again they have outdone themselves! They have been so patient when trying to get X Ray's from my little boy, and finally they got them! They were so kind and treated him so gentle. It really means alot. They show so much compassion. They talk to you like you have been friends for years! Dr. Anthony is amazing, he is so awesome! I'm so glad I have found them, we have definitely found our life long dentistry! I just want to say thank you to each of them, everyone of them makes the team a success! Thanks guys! Happy holidays

I LOVE the service but the wait sometimes can get very lengthy.... This is the first tim i had a waite like this 45 minutes n i think it was because of patient. Dr. Anthony Is VERY fun/makes the procedure not near as intimidated....even for me an adult! Just make sure you give a 24 notice if you can't make an appointment... Cause 3 strikes you are out!

I was seen 3 days after my request for a new patient urgent assessment. Was ushered back to a chair before I was done w paperwork. Clean. Staff helped me w my history and current issues while I filled out legal stuff. Very pleasant. Dr Hoang came in and took some pen photos of visible problems then sent me to xray room for big picture. Then he clearly showed me the damage without judgement and explained my options, incluing likely results, difficulty, anticipated recovery, pain management, long-term health goals and financial considerations. I have already refered a family member. If you are looking for a great dental heAlth care provider I don't know anyone better than Dr Anthony!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Hoang just this week. I was seen within minutes of my arrival. I am one of those people who absolutely hate going to the dentist. Dr. Hoang and his staff were GREAT! They made me feel very comfortable. I have very sensitive teeth and gums. Stormy took extra measures in taking her time to assure that I received the best care possible. She was awesome! I definitely recommend Dr. Hoang and his staff.
