Hello world! My name is Dr. Anthony M. Hinton, born in Arcola, MS. I went to school in Hollandale, MS, where I graduated in 1978. Afterward, I volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army. After serving my country, I derived an inspiration for dentistry. So, upon leaving the service, I set out to begin my career in dentistry. I enrolled into Jackson State University in Jackson, MS, where I was a Biology, Pre-Dental major in 1980 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985. Afterward, I enrolled into the Master's degree program in Biology. Having already applied for dental school, I was accepted into several dental schools before completing my Master's program. Since dentistry was my sole interest, I chose to attend the Dental School at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN Fall 1987. I competed the Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree program in 1991. After school, I moved to Chicago, IL to begin private practice in General Dentistry. After a few years of private practice, I discovered that I have a true passion for dentistry. I knew this was my calling and I was born to do dentistry. While practicing, I have taken, and still continue to take, numerous continuing education courses to further enhance my expertise in dentistry. Now as a knowledgeable, trained clinician I have incorporated a number of dental specialty services to my practice to include Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Implant placement, Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Restorative and Removable Prosthodontics for Geriatric patients. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

To ensure that you maintain great oral health, this level of quality needs to extend into your personal oral hygiene routine. We can help you establish a dental hygiene routine that will keep your teeth healthy and white. If you have any questions about your current hygiene plan please ask us.

Dr. Hinton is amazing. It truly feels like a luxury spa experience. His attention to detail and expertise is wonderful. I always get compliments on my smile and I have Dr. Hinton to thank.

I came to Dr Hinton in October 2018 inquiring about braces. At the time I had an HMO plan through my husbands employer. He gave me a reasonable quote and provided me my down payment summary. I never followed up until January 2019 when I gain employment and enrolled in a PPO plan. Dr Hinton provided me the same price quote. I had my braces placed in February. He did my extraction for my tooth and I didn't feel a thing. I recently had a event where my bottom wisdom tooth needed to come out. I called Dr Hinton and he came right away so he could evaluate and write me a referral to see an oral surgeon. I don't know too many dentist that that will make time for you at any hour. He might have equipment that is out dated but his honesty and great work out weighs all of it. Thank you Dr Hinton. It's about time we start supporting more African American dentist and approached the work you do. We know it's not easy.

I will say this, I had a previous procedure done by Dr. Hinton and at least I can say his work at that time was satisfactory, no concerns! But it was just a filling and extraction. But my last and most recent expeeience was nothing of the sort. If I can give less than 1 star I certainly would. Outside of probably the very most basic of dentistry he is the absolute worst. Poor professionalism, nasty outdated office, and obviously ghastly work. There is no need to tell what horrors I endured following his work, but if I can help by telling you to go elsewhere.......GO ELSEWHERE! Pay for the PPO and go to a better and different dentist! I only wish I read the reviews prior to coming.

Very bad experience. I called to confirm appointment, they didn't want to confirm it. When I arrived the front desk been son disrespectful and raise her voice on me. I left after that. Why do you want to see the dentist if the front desk treat you like that. You wonder if the dentist will be like that or worse
