I am a Southern California Native, born and raised in LA.I spent several years in New York where I attended Parsons school of design. I made the decision to go to Dental School and in 1998 I graduated from Oklahoma School of Dentistry with my Doctorate in Dental Science. I finished my formal education for dentistry in New York where I attended Columbia Universities advanced education program in general dentistry. Upon completion I returned to make LA my home and worked for APLA and several private practices before opening my own office in 2003.
I am committed to maintaining a modern, cutting edge office. I attend numerous dental conventions and continuing educations courses during the year and am also a member of good standing with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and L.A. Dental Society.
I opened our office at 5757 Wilshire Blvd in 2003. I wanted it to be an unique experience for our patients,beautiful, welcoming, calming. Every detail was chosen to make our patients feel at ease and at home.
In our state of the art treatment rooms we utilize the latest technology for digital dental imaging, sterilization and the highest quality dental instruments available today. We are continually upgrading our systems and investing in new equipment to stay current with the latest advancements in dental care.

I haven't even been in for my appointment yet but I had to write a review for the receptionist I spoke with today. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name but she was amazingly helpful, friendly and professional. A great first impression of the office!

I've been coming here for about 3 years now and I wouldn't go to any other dentist. Dr. Milanez and the hygienist I have are thorough and clearly care about my dental health. He is very prompt, so there's rarely ever an appointment that does not start at the given time. His front office staff are kind and very organized. This is the best place to go, especially with a PPO. :-) Update: The office is now owned by another doctor. Most of the staff are still there.

I like this dentist! I have been there three times for cleaning, and he always seems very thorough and honest. That's important to me, since other dentists I have had in the past have always been trying to upsell me. I have seen two dental hygienists at Dr. Milanez's office, and they have both been excellent and very friendly. There's also nearby metered street parking, which makes it easy to get to his office. I highly recommend this place!

I have been a patient of Dr. Anthony J. Milanez, DDS, for many years beginning on Santa Monica Blvd. and followed him to an office on Sunset Blvd. to his current location on Wilshire. Dr. Milanez is an excellent Dentist; but more than that, Tony and his wonderful staff of Rita, have been family to me. In 2014, I became a Stage 3 Colon cancer patient at UCLA, and now healthy, and Tony and Rita were there for me. I love going to Dr. Milanez not only for his excellent care, but because he is a wonderful man and his Assistant, Rita, are very important members of my "LA Medical Family". I encourage any patient needing dental assistance to contact Dr. Anthony J. Milanez, DDS. Love you Tony and Rita!

Excellent level of care. Friendly employees make it a relaxing atmosphere. From basic cleanings to caps, crowns and cosmetic dentistry, this is the place to go. I would definitely recommend Dr Milanez and his team to my friends and family.

I live in the SF Valley but don't think twice about driving over the hill to go to Dr. Milanez's office. The doctor and his staff could not be nicer or more professional. I always feel that they honestly care for me as a patient.

I am not a new patient, but still - great dentist, great staff, great music even! if I didn't have to have my mouth open until it aches during a procedure I might have given a 5.0 rating, lol! keep it up. skol! :)

The office is always friendly and very professional. They do quality work and go the extra mile for their patients. I have been a patient for close to 15 years and even though I live on the other side of town, I would not go to any other dental practice.

Highly recommend! Been coming to Dr. Milanez for over 8 years after seeing several other dentists--he and his staff are easily the best in LA. From the office personnel to the hygienist (Arman), I can't recommend enough. They are exceptionally friendly, very accommodating, and really strive to provide excellent care without trying to promote unnecessary procedures or expensive products. Referred several friends/family to this office and they're all very pleased. Pros: excellent and professional care, accepted all of the different types of insurance I've had over the years, great location with free/easy parking (I park on 8th St) Cons: none that I can think of

I have been with Dr. Milanez for about a year now and I highly recommend him. The front desk is very friendly, helpful and professional. With previous dentists, there's a always been a wait time but that's not the case with Dr. Milanez' office. They get you in and on time! Dr. Milanez himself is thorough, kind and takes time with his patients. Also, street parking is easy to find in the nearby streets.

The front desk staff is so nice and helpful. My x-ray tech, Maggie was super friendly and quick. Dr. Milanez is really thorough, fast, professional and kind. He got to me right away. Armin, the hygienist was last up and he was super gentle, friendly and thorough. The entire visit was great from start to finish. I was referred to this place by a friend who highly recommended it and they were not lying about how great this Dentist and his office is.
