Dr. Anthony V. Amato was born and raised in West Hartford, the son of Gaetano and Anna Amato. After graduating from Kingswood-Oxford school in 1979, he went on to obtain his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Boston University. Dr. Amato continued his education at Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dentistry, graduating in 1987. Upon completion of dental school he returned to his hometown to maintain a private practice with Dr. Robert Bradbury. Dr. Amato continues to make implant and reconstructive dentistry his main objective, constantly striving to deliver function and aesthetics to each patient.

In his time spent outside of the office, Dr. Amato enjoys the finer things in life; time spent with his wife and family, the New York Yankees and the city of Boston. Dr. Amato has two children, Grace, a pediatric ICU nurse, and Michael, a Wake Forest Law Student.

Tracey joined our practice in September of 2008.She is our office manager and is hands on in every aspect of the office.Tracey has over 30 years of front desk experience.She is always willing to go the extra mile for our staff and loyal patients.When Tracey is not at work you will find her enjoying time with her husband, Dr Amato, and their four children.She loves to bake and cook and is always trying out new recipes for her family. Her favorite hobby is shopping. Tracey & Anthony have a 2 year old puppy named Rookie.

Meghan is one of our smiling faces at the front desk!She attended Briarwood College where she became certified as a dental assistant and earned her Associates of Science before she switched to the front desk. She has worked at our office since 2001, taking some time off in the middle to be home with her two kids.Meghan is our Insurance Coordinator and handles all of the insurance claim needs, while helping patients to understand their coverage so they know what to expect before starting treatment.

Sarah attended Tunxis Community College dental assisting program. She graduated in 2007 with an Associates of Science degree and became a CDA. She has spent the last few years working in different offices and clinics around CT. She is versed in numerous clinical procedures ranging from adults to children. She is found working along side Dr. Amato and loves answering any questions or concerns you might have. In her free time you can find her enjoying her days with her dog Grey, hanging out with friends, or binge watching anything crime related. She sky dives and her goal is to carry a Sherpa on her back up Mount Everest.

Laura has been in the dental profession since 1985. She started her career as a Certified Denal Assistant, graduating with High Honors from Briarwood College. After 10 years of assisting her passion for dentistry inspired her to further her education. She attended Tunxis Community College School of Dental Hygiene, graduating with Honors. Her dedication and compassion for patients is at the foundation of her efforts. She is committed to motivating and educating patients on their individual needs t maintain oral and systemic health.

Lauren attended the Forsyth Dental Hygiene Program in Boston, MA where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. After finishing college, Lauren worked around Brookline and Boston in many diverse types of clinics and private practices. She moved to Connecticut in late 2007 and started to focus her hygiene career on the specific treatment of periodontal disease. Lauren is certified in local anesthesia to provide non-surgical periodontal treatment. She enjoys helping her patients achieve a healthy mouth and body.

Lauren has many hobbies which include cooking, reading, traveling, painting and spending quality time with her family. Her biggest passion is baking and sharing her homemade breads and desserts. Lauren lives in West Hartford Center with her husband Nick and two daughters. She loves walking to work!

Katie joined our staff part-time in January 2019 and full-time in July 2020. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2007. She has been practicing hygiene in Connecticut since the fall of 2018 and had previously been working in Tennessee and Virginia. She is known by patients and staff for being very kind and compassionate.

With her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from James Madison University, Maggie brings a strong background of science and nutrition to the dental care field. She graduated with her dental hygiene degree with honors from Lincoln College of New England where she maintained her previous membership to Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, As a certified pastry chef, Maggie understands the necessity of balance between diet, exercise, and flossing!

She is on the leadership board of the American Dental Hygiene Association of Northeastern CT, a volunteer at the CT Mission Of Mercy, as well as an avid outdoors woman, exercise fanatic, and travel enthusiast. She spends her time with her husband, daughter, Frenchie, & cupcakes!

Jenn has worked in the dental field for over 10 years, starting as a dental assistant before continuing her education in dental hygiene. She has experience in pediatric as well as family dentistry and is dedicated to educating her patients of all ages about oral health. Growing up in West Hartford, she has been a lifelong patient of Dr. Amato and is now lucky enough to be part of his team! In her free time, Jenn enjoys spending time her with husband, daughter, and dog Cooper.
