I grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and upon graduating from the University of Texas Houston Dental Branch in 1989, decided to make Houston my home. After a one year General Residency Program at the Olin E. Teague Veteran's Hospital in Temple Texas, I returned to Houston to begin my general dentistry practice in 1990.
It is hard to imagine that I am entering my 25nd year of practice. I have enjoyed immensely the quality dentistry that I have provided through those years and the lives that were touched and those that touched me personally. Those young patients that I treated since grade school are now having their own children. Since we are a family dental practice, it has been a great pleasure to provide the same quality dentistry for their children as I did for the parents.
Since my dental startup, I have continued to enhance my skills and knowledge through many hours of continuing education programs and courses to stay current in the advancements of the dental field. I continuously search for the newest technologies, products, and techniques, adapting only those that I believe will have a greater benefit for my patients. Those latest technologies include digital radiographs, Snap On Smile, and laser therapy. Further, I have accumulated more than 500 hours of continued education, a feat that is much desired and commendable. We are a full service dental office that offers cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
During my time away from work, you will most likely find me spending time on the baseball and soccer field with my son and daughter. I have enjoyed watching and coaching my kids in their sports, as well as having the privilege to sponsor many of my patient's and the teams they belong to in Friendswood, Pearland, and League City.
I consider it a privilege that you have taken the time to inquire into my office. My aim each day is to give my patients the time that they feel they need to talk with me about their dental needs, concerns, and desires for a healthier smile. Your comfort and care is most important to us!

The absolute best there is! I moved 200 miles away and I still kept Dr. Dao and his excellent team as my dental provider. Go no further.

Dr. Dao is the best, and his staff is fantastic. For anyone with a pathological fear of dentists - like me - have no fear. Most dentists and their staff are from the seventh level of Dante's hell, with their only goal to inflict pain, misery, spewing blood and endless tooth scraping on mere mortals. Dr. Dao's staff is *not* from hell, and is quite exceptional. Allison, my hygienist, is an angel. If she weren't married, and I weren't married - and if she didn't have children, and I didn't have children - and if I were 30 years younger - I would marry her for free cleanings and dental care.

I've never been to a more friendly and efficient dentist. If felt like they genuinely cared about giving me the best treatment as possible and the front office staff was amazingly quick about putting together my treatment options with a priced based on my insurance plan. My time was respected and there was no long waits at any point in the process.

Hands down the best experience at a dental office ever. Period. They pride themselves on being kind and punctual. Plus, the top priority is ensuring the comfort of their patients. I've had a lot of procedures done to my teeth from routine stuff like cleaning and fillings to significant orthodontic work. This is the first dental team that's never hurt me or stressed me out. And the front office is VERY professional with expertise dealing with multiple types of insurance as well as self-pay. Highly recommend.

I would recommend Dr. Dao and his office to anyone new to the community or looking to switch dental offices. Dr. Dao always takes the time to discuss any issues or pain I may be having. I can tell he truly cares about his patients along with his staff Shawna and Nancy. The welcoming atmosphere and punctuality is also a plus!

I cannot recommend Dr. Dao and his office highly enough. You will not be rushed in and out like at a lot of other dental offices; they take their time and explain anything you want to know about your visit and take the time to do a thorough job. And no small consideration is the fact that I have never waited more than five minutes to go back and get my appointment started. Fantastic local business, and a nice bunch of folks to boot.

We are new to the Houston area, and I'm so glad we found Dr. Dao's office. My 2 kids and I have gone in for cleanings and X-rays, and the staff has been wonderful. I was worried about how they would do with my kids (who used to go to a kids-only dentist), but they did a fantastic job and my kids actually enjoyed their visit. Can't ask for more than that! The office is immaculate and beautiful. It feels like you're at someone's home, rather than at a sterile dental office. I highly recommend Dr. Dao.
