I knew I wanted to become an orthodontist from as early as I can remember! I loved going to my Dads office and seeing all the tools and instruments that he got to use. When I was 14 years old, I went to a youth conference where the leaders asked those in attendance to write down their life goals until age 30. I remember writing down my career goal of becoming an orthodontist. At the time, I had no idea that it would take 11 years to accomplish that goal! It has been one of the best goals I have ever set. I am so happy that I stuck with it! I get to enjoy seeing first hand, the life changing impact orthodontics can have on an individual. The improved self esteem and changes that come from a beautiful, healthy smile, is just one of the many joys of this profession. Sharing this with the community I was born and raised in, allows me to have a personal connection to those I serve. Dr. Andy
In 1988, I married my high school sweetheart. We have a daughter and three sons. I am an avid Duck fan, and many of the activities that I enjoy outside the office are associated with sports. Over the years, I have enjoyed watching and coaching my boys play baseball, basketball and football. Playing a round of golf is also a favorite free time activity. Thanks to my Mom, I can enjoy the arts. Whether its a production at the Hult Center, or one of the many local music events, Eugene has so much to offer!
I completed my undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in 1990 and then went on to receive my D.M.D. from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1994. Three years later, I achieved a Masters of Science in Orthodontics from Loma Linda University and feel honored to have worked for five years with my father, Dr. Fred Bennion, prior to his retirement in 2002.
I am a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Oregon State Society of Orthodontics and past President, Past President of the Lane County Dental Society and an active member of Rotary International. I am a member of the board of directors and past President of Kidsports.
The team is extremely competent, and compassionate with their clients. They take their time to work with my daughter to make her feel safe, and informed as to what they are doing with her. I couldnt have asked for a better Orthodontist for my child. Marian

Dr. Bennions office has made the braces ordeal a breeze. His staff is timely, making sure my son and I dont twiddle our thumbs in the waiting rooms (although the games available in the waiting room also help!)
