Dr. Sowins is a 1971 graduate of USC School of Dentistry. He enjoys utilizing all the latest technologies and materials available in dentistry today. He is especially interested in addressing bite discrepancies and joint (TMJ) issues as well as cosmetics. He sees himself as an artist and engineer in the oral environment and believes that good communication is the most important aspect of treatment. Outside of his practice Dr. Sowins is an avid reader, loves art, history and current events. He also enjoys all the exercise and hiking opportunities Santa Barbara has to offer.

Dr. Gotelli is the most knowledgeable Dentist I have ever been to in my 70 plus year's. I had several dental issues which he resolved where others had failed. Dr. Gotelli's pleasant personality and great skills are unbeatable. The Staff is fantastic!

as a 70 year old physician recently relocated to Santa Barbara, i was introduced to Dr Gotelli by our realtor. for most of my professional life , i was blessed with 5 star dental care from my best friend, and after his untimely passing, another close dentist friend. Dr Gotelli is a excellent dental surgeon. his technical skill in regional anaesthesia is excellent, as is his surgical ability in very technical and demanding dental procedures. he is affable, kind, reassuring, and very professional. His office staff are very well trained, friendly, and expert in both dental hygiene, and chairside assisting. the office is meticulously clean, with excellent attention to proper sterile technique. the front office staff are friendly and efficient. giving your trust to a medical/dental professional is initially hard to do. Dr Gotelli and his staff are the only dental office you will ever want.
