Dr. Andrew M. Bateman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Chemistry from Brigham Young University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
As a young man, Dr. Bateman served a church mission in Londrina, Brazil. He has continued to give volunteer service, taking part in humanitarian projects in Peru, Brazil, Utah, Kentucky, and Tennessee. In addition to humanitarian projects that give back, Dr. Bateman has a love for health. He views oral health as an important piece of overall health.
Dr. Bateman is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to serve the dental care needs of his patients better and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. He has trained under some world-renowned dentists such as Michael Apa, Larry Rosenthal, George Kirtley, David Hornbrook, Mark Montgomery, Dennis Wells, Brian Harris, and many others to perfect the art of Smile Design.
Dr. Bateman is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentists, the Academy of LDS Dentists, and the Crown Council. Dr. Bateman speaks Portuguese and Spanish and welcomes the opportunity to meet and treat new patients.
Dr. Bateman, his wife Luci, and their three children, Julia, Olivia, and Sophia live in Lehi and are excited to be back home after living in the South for the last 6+ years. In his free time, Dr. Bateman enjoys running, cycling, CrossFit, skiing, basketball, football, soccer, golf, and being outdoors.
Dr. Bateman received his Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University majoring in Zoology with an emphasis in Chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago.
Following Dental School, Dr. Bateman served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California. During his military service, Dr. Bateman gained experience in various dental specialties. He obtained his license to practice dentistry in the State of California where he also maintained a private practice. Dr. Bateman subsequently moved back home to Utah and has now practiced in Utah County for more that forty years.

Dr. Mitchell Duckworth, was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. He loves the outdoors and exploring all that Utah has to offer. He is an experienced general dentist and residency-trained dentist anesthesiologist.
Dr. Duckworth graduated from the University of Southern Californias Ostrow School of Dentistry and subsequently completed a residency in anesthesia at Stony Brook University Hospital, in Long Island, New York. During his residency, he completed rotations in Cardiology, Pain Management, Ambulatory Anesthesia, Post-Anesthesia Care, as well as Internal and Pediatric Medicine.
Dr. Duckworth specializes in delivering individually tailored anesthesia to all populations, including pediatric and patients with special needs. He takes great pride in making each patient feel comfortable, while trying to understand each individuals needs and anxieties.
Hes had many opportunities to offer service through his profession in under-developed countries throughout Central and South America. These trips are the highlight of his career and he is always looking for new opportunities to help create healthy smiles.
