The founder of the dental practice that bears her name, Dr. Amy M. Woo, DDS embraces a strong passion and deep dedication to providing her patients with outstanding dental care. She places particular emphasis on creating an environment where those who depend on her services can enjoy peace of mind and freedom from anxiety.
Dr. Woo was featured inSacramento Magazineas one of the top 10 dentists in the region, a distinction voted upon by her industry peers. In addition, she and her office staff were given high marks by patients because of the considerate and compassionate treatment they receive on a regular basis.
After majoring in pharmacy at the University of the Pacific (UOP) in Stockton, California, Dr. Woo went on to graduate from the UOP School of Dentistry. She was awarded her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989.
She lives in Sacramento with her husband, Gary, and their two children. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family and participating in various sports, including snow skiing, golfing, and boating.
The senior associate to the team of professionals at Dr Amy Woo dentistry, Kristine E. Balcom, DDS enjoys both the challenges and the rewards of her profession. Her commitment to excellent service is enriched by a strong sense of empathy for her patients needs and comfort, driving her to make a pleasant, gratifying visit her top priority.
Dr. Balcom earned her bachelors degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry, from California State University, Sacramento. She was vice president of her dental class at the University of California, San Francisco, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994.
Kelly A. Brewer DDS has spent the majority of her life working in the dental profession, striving to deliver comprehensive, quality care that focuses on creating and maintaining a healthy and beautiful smile. Her primary goal is to meet patients functional and esthetic needs and her warm personality helps patients feel relaxed and at ease. At the age of 13, she became Californias youngest ever Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and continued to work in a general practice office.
After completing both the General and Organic Chemistry series at UC Davis while still in high school, Dr. Brewer decided to continue her education at UCD and study Biochemistry. With an active involvement on campus and student government, she was received the Outstanding Senior Award in 2004. Next, she attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and obtained her doctorate in dentistry in 2009.
Community service has always been an integral part of Dr. Brewers life and she has donated her services both to her local community clinic as well as abroad. While in dental school, she participated in a dental mission that worked in conjunction with the local Peruvian Rotary Club to offer dental services to adults and children with limited or no access to care. Her memberships include the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.

If you want a pleasant dental experience with truly trained professionals, that will take care of you like family, look no further! Dr Murphy is the best dentist I've ever had. All staff onsite have excellent customer service skills, you will feel like you are at a 5 star Hotel.

When I was younger I had a brutal dentist and so I was scared to go to dentist. But going to this Dental Group and having Dr Balcom as my dentist, has been amazing. It's the first time I've had a dentist that has heart and compassion in dentistry. I would recommend their group to anybody.

This was my first time at this dental care since I had to switch dental plans due to my previous dental care no longer taking my insurance but I have to say that I absolutely loved and enjoyed the service here. Everyone at the front desk is extremely welcoming and helpful, whether it be with general questions or accomodations. The dental assistants are also really sweet and gentle and have very postive attitudes. You can just tell that they actually care about their patients and that from their interactions with one another how much they really enjoy their jobs and how positive the work environment really is. Other than that, I absolutely love and adore Dr. Balcom just from having her met the first time. She made a really good impression from the very first time I met her and I instantly knew I would be in good hands and I wasn't wrong! She's really gentle and precise with her work. Not only that but a day after my appointment with her, she instantly sent me a message to check in on me and that really shocked me because my previous dentists wouldn't usually check in on me after an appointment. To me, it really shows how the employees here at this dental care extremely appreciates and cares for their patients and I really admire that. I'm definitely really glad I switched over to this dental care and would definitely recommend this place to others as well.

Dr. Balcom is the best she's so sweet and gentile and reassuring. I'm a huge baby and she makes me feel comfy and not nervous at all. Ricki is my dental hygienist that does my teeth cleaning and her touch is super light and she's just as sweet. Will never see anyone else (although I'm sure the whole staff is amazing) bc they are the perfect duo!

I was scared going in thinking they would be like every other office, judging me for past problems and not feeling helpful. This place is not that. They are so kind and so caring, they want to help you get the confidence back in all of our smiles that we felt like we lost. Dr. Murphy for one has been the most supportive in my personal journey so far. Not only being understanding and caring about my issues, but patient with me in my fears and worries throughout the whole process. This Office is so loving and thoughtful. Please come here I can not recommend them enough!!!!!!!

I've been going to Dr. Woo's office for years. Today was great. Dr. Murphy and the dental assistant (Asian lady whose name I forget) were a great team. Super efficient and effective. Heather the front desk adminstrator and her colleagues are always friend. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Dr. Murphy is amazing!! The repair on my front teeth was absolute artistry. I felt very confident during the visit, and can't stop looking in the mirror at the results. Her assistant, Stephanie, was awesome as well ... the two of them worked seamlessly at making the repair. I've never had a dentist as skilled as Dr. Murphy.
