Dr. Collazo earned his dental degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1990. Shortly after graduation, he joined the U.S. Army Dental Corps where he completed an Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry. In 1995, following military assignments in Kansas, Germany and Texas, Dr. Collazo established residence in Northern Virginia. Professionally, he is dedicated to providing his patients exceptional clinical care. This pursuit has taken him to develop professional relationships with some of the best advanced dental education centers in the World, like The Pankey Institute and Spear Education. His areas of clinical interest are adult complex restorations, esthetics, dental implants, facial pain, TMJ disorders, and dental sleep medicine. He lectures on those topics to local study clubs and maintains membership in the Greater Loudoun Study Club (where he serves as a restorative advisor), Spear Faculty Club and Spear Study Club. Dr. Collazo believes that each patient presents a unique set of conditions, desires and expectations that must be evaluated and understood. Therefore, he aims to develop a partnership with his patients and to empower them to create a lifetime strategy to achieve comfort, function, beauty and dental health. Outside the office, Dr. Collazo is a family man and sport enthusiast. As a former volleyball athlete, he lends his experience by being on the coaching staff of the Heritage High School Volleyball Program and Club Volleyball circuit. In addition to dentistry and sports, his wife of over 30 years and family (which includes two adult daughters and a dog) are his foundation and greatest success. Dr. Collazo is a preferred Vendor for the Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea with Oral Appliance Therapy in Reston, Herndon, Sterling and Loudoun County.
Dr. Amanda Brown has been involved in dentistry for longer than she can remember! The daughter of founder Dr. Douglas Herbert, Dr. Brown joined the practice in 1998 after graduating from the Medical College of Virginia. She is a lifelong native of Loudoun County. Dr. Brown has accomplished extensive advance education and hands on training in orthodontic and restorative dentistry. She strongly believes the functional, structural and esthetic components of a smile contribute to optimal patient well-being. Dr. Brown is a member of several organizations including the American Orthodontic Society, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Dr. Brown trains at the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona and is an active member of the Greater Loudoun Study Club. She has also invested many hours of continuing education in laser dentistry at the World Clinical Laser Institute. The laser improves accuracy of procedures while helping to eliminate pain and recovery time. Dr. Brown prides herself in being extremely gentle and provides care for children of the practice. Dr. Brown and her husband live in Purcellville with their sons and border collies. In addition to her family and professional schedule, Dr. Brown enjoys hiking, skiing, baking and maintains an extensive vegetable garden.
Dr. Yacoub is a native of Northern Virginia and grew up in Leesburg. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2015 and received her dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2019. After graduation, she completed a general practice residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she treated veterans with complex medical healthcare needs at one of the busiest and most advanced centers. Following residency, she worked in a small family dental practice in Winchester, VA. She enjoys treating patients of all ages while focusing her clinical expertise on restorative, cosmetic, implant, and removable dentistry. Professionally, she is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. She is passionate about service and participates in Mission of Mercy Projects throughout Virginia as well as Dental Mission Trips to Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. Her love for education pushes her to keep up with the latest advances in dentistry through continued education courses and study clubs. She works with patients to bring confidence to their smile with personalized treatment that produces the best esthetic and functional outcome. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, fine dining, and concerts.

Dr. Brown is an astounding dentist. I have been a patient of hers for many, many years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth! She has a kind, calm demeanor and is always communicative about procedures. As someone who has always loathed going to the dentist, she makes me feel safe and very well taken care of. And to top it all off, she's given me a beautiful smile! You will not find a better dentist.

I love Dr. Brown and the state of art office she has created. The space feels and looks more like a spa than a medical office. Dr. Amanda Brown is the best! Her chair-side manor makes going to the dentist so much easier. She always makes you feel comfortable and welcome! But the best part of being one of her patients is getting to eat all the veggies from her garden in the summer!

I loathe going to the dentist, even for just a routine cleaning. So when I realized a piece of an old filling had fallen out, I was truly dreading having to visit the dentist. My dread was compounded enormously because I recently moved to Virginia, which meant I was going to have a see a dentist I had never seen before. So I guess the dental gods were smiling on me when I found Dr. Amanda Brown. For starters, her staff worked me in on short notice, which was a great start. On the day of the appointment I arrived a bit early, but I was called back to see Dr. Amanda right away--also great, because I didn't have to sit there waiting & stressing about what was going to happen. As for Dr. Amanda, I really can't say enough good things. As the appointment went on, it became clear to me I had hit the dentist lottery. Right off the bat, her calm and personable demeanor immediately put me at ease. She is totally patient focused, she really knows how to read people (even their unspoken concerns), she provides excellent dental care, and she speaks with you in a way you can understand and with genuine care for your overall well-being. My situation turned out to be more serious than I thought it was going in, but she thoroughly explained everything she had found, and she discussed very patiently with me her rationale for wanting to pursue the treatment plan she proposed. She made me feel completely comfortable at every step along the way. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but this dentist visit was, dare I say, enjoyable, thanks to Dr. Amanda and her staff. In short, if you are in the market for a new dentist for any reason, your first call should be to Dr. Brown's office!! Highly recommend!!
