Our patient family appreciates that Dr. Reed isnt brand new to dentistry (she has over 25 years of experience in everything from preventive to cosmetic dentistry). They also love that she approaches every day in the office and each new opportunity to transform a smile with the kind of enthusiasm and excitement a recent dental-school graduate might.
Dentistry really is Dr. Reeds passion but not just because she enjoys the technical and artistic aspects of the work. She also delights in her patients, getting to know them on a personal level, listening to them, and responding carefully to their individual needs. Thats right you really are the reason Dr. Reed is in practice!
After graduating Cum Laude from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Biology, Dr. Reed went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University. But Dr. Reed was too enthralled by the possibilities of dentistry to stop there and continued her training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at LSU.
That devotion to knowledge and staying on the leading edge of dentistry remains bright in Dr. Reed, no matter how many patients she sees or how many years she practices. She has studied at the prestigious Dawson Center for Comprehensive Dental Studies and regularly attends dental continuing education classes and seminars on state-of-the-art procedures such as dental implants, laser dentistry, porcelain veneers, DURAthins, Lumineers, as well as best practices for safety and sterilization.
Her latest passion is sleep, not getting more for herself, but helping patients who struggle with breathing issues such as sleep apnea. Dr. Reed has extensive training on using cutting-edge, effective sleep medicine treatments such as mandibular advancement devices. She can also use patient-friendly, non-invasive non-ablative laser technology to tighten the collagen in your throat and open your airway for more rejuvenating, restful sleep.
Dr. Reed isnt about all work and no fun. Shes been living in The Woodlands since 1997, with a son at college and a daughter in high school. Her love for learning about all things dentistry remains, alongside her passion for travel, taking in live music, tending to her garden, and playing with her Labradoodle named Dug.
Wouldnt you love to join our patients and find your own words to describe Dr. Reed? Maybe you might like to call her knowledgeable, talented, respectful, gentle, or personal. Whatever you call her, your beautiful, healthy smile will speak for itself!
Dr. Stacey Smith knew that becoming a dentist would allow her to do something that she loves best, and thats working with and helping people of all ages. She has a true calling for making a person feel at ease when theyre in the dental chair. Theres a certain level of education and compassion that a dentist brings to each patient, and Dr. Smith says its fun to watch her patients transform their oral and overall health using a more informed approach to dental care in The Woodlands.
Dr. Smith says she was drawn to our Woodlands dental offices because of their unique home quality. I began dentistry as a dental tech for the US Navy in 1989. I attended hygiene school in Athens, GA in 2002 and have enjoyed my profession ever since, making great friends, adoring my patients, and providing great, healthy smiles. Im married to a wonderful Texan man and have two great kids. My favorite daughter, Megan, is in the dental field as well and my favorite son, JJ, is a junior in high school. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and caring for my fur babies.
I have been working in the dental field for 25 years. Everyday is a new day! I love seeing fabulous results and happy patients. I have a son, daughter-in-law, and two beautiful and active grandbabies. I enjoy live music, photography, chasing sunsets, gardening, hiking, and beach vacations.
I have been in the dental field and a registered dental assistant for 30 years. I have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Reed and her remarkable team for the past 10 years, claiming them as family, my home away from home. I love being an assistant and helping patients understand how to maintain their oral health and to keep a healthy, beautiful smile. I am proud to call Texas my home. I have raised three incredible children in the Spring area, proclaiming that they are my all-time, favorite hobby!
