I treat my patients as friends, never judging them or where they are coming from. Instead, I want to understand who they are, what they need, and make sure they feel okay about themselves. In doing this, I help people learn that I care about them and this helps us to build trusting relationships.

Regular continuing dental education ensures I am current on the latest techniques, materials, and technologies. In addition to attending meetings and participating in study groups, I keep up with discussions of research and methodologies by reading relevant journals and other publications.

I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the Fourth District Dental Society of New York. These organizations enableme to learn from the leading practitioners, alongside my peers, in the field.

Originally from Mumbai, in India, I have lived in Albany for forty years and consider it home. My wife helps me in the office and I have two grown children. My son and daughter are both married soI have wonderful grandkids as well.

When Im not seeing patients, I enjoy traveling. I especially enjoy volunteer work through my church and volunteering as a dentist in different parts of the world, to providelife-improving care to underprivileged children and orphans.

My favorite part of my job is the people: I enjoy our established patients, meeting new people, and seeing results in each persons oral hygiene. I especially enjoy patient education and teaching everyone about the importance of preventive care. I review a patients medical history, clean their teeth, and take necessary X-rays, all while providing helpful information and encouragement.
