Dr. Anthony Ienna is a graduate of Georgetown University Dental School. He completed a general practice residency at Catholic Medical Center and he specialized in periodontology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (currently Rutgers). He is an assistant clinical professor of periodontology at Stony Brook University Dental School and an attending at Winthrop University Hospital. He served as president of Nassau County Dental Society and The Long Island Academy of Periodontology.
He has participated in yearly dental mission trips to Jamaica, West Indies since 2011 and was recently awarded the Certificate for International Volunteer Service from the American Dental Association. Dr. Iennais a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Alex G. Pappas received his B.A. in biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton and graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.
As a result of his exceptionalacademicachievements, Dr. Pappas was inducted into the prestigious OKU Dental Honor Society. Following his graduation fromdental school, Dr. Pappas continued his training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed a 3-year post-doctoral program in Periodontics and Dental Implantology. He has been trained extensively in periodontal plastic surgery, oral reconstructive surgery, implantology and periodontal medicine.
Dr. Pappas is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and is an active attending in the Department of Dentistry at Nassau University Medical Center and at Winthrop University Hospital. He currently is president of The Long Island Academy of Periodontology. Dr.Pappasis a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Both Doctors Ienna and Pappas are board certified by the American Board of Periodontology, are both clinical assistant professors at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine and teach residents at local hospitals.

I went there 3 times but nothing got done other than a bunch of Xrays at a cost to me. They do not take insurance. Finally when I got the 4th appointment, I was quoted an exorbitant price for a routine and low-level procedure.

Dr Pappas and his staff are great. I had my too the pulled and the procedure went smooth. I previously had deep cleaning done and it was relatively painless compared to another experience elsewhere. I highly recommend them.

Extremely compassionate - I do NOT do well with dental procedures and I needed to have four teeth pulled. Dr Pappas was kind and patient and the procedure was absolutely pain free and very fast too. Would highly recommend to anyone but especially for those who have fear of the dentist.

Dr. Pappas was just awesome to work with. He was very attentive and thorough for my entire implant process. I did not feel like anything was rushed. He was very careful and explained everything that he was doing. His staff is also very friendly. I would definitely recommend him to others.

There is NO way that I can possibly thank Dr. Pappas & his wonderful staff enough for all they have done to help me be ready for my son's wedding this past weekend. The professionalism and the compassion of this incredible team not only helped me with a major dental issue, but also accommodated me with multiple appointments and tag teamed with my general dentist to work together in a very fine time frame to have me ready for this special occasion. It was a beautiful event, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to smile on this special day! Dr Pappas and his team could not have been more enjoyable to deal with. Mouth surgery is never fun but Dr. Pappas comfortably walked me through each step and his assistants were amazingly caring and calming. During my extraction Dr. Pappas specifically advised what he was doing and what I should expect. This made the process better than I could have imagined. As someone who doesn't like a regular oral exam, I was very comfortable with the way Dr. Pappas and his staff performed their craft. I would highly recommend Dr. Pappas and his office to family and friends or to anyone looking for oral surgery. I had a great experience considering it still was oral surgery.

Dr. Pappas is very professional and thorough. He reviewed my x-ray and explained what my options were. I chose to get an implant based on his recommendations and I was hoping to do start the process in a month but I started feeling pain. He quickly took me in to extract my tooth to start the process in a day notice to accommodate my schedule. I thought it would be painful but he walked me through each step and it was painless and fear-free. Dr. Pappas called me the next day just to check in to make sure I was ok which I was. He told me if I had any questions to just call. He was wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Pappas to my family and friends. The word implant scared me but Dr. Pappas removed all that fear. His staff was very helpful with my insurance and scheduling. My overall experience is 5+.
