Your smile comes first at Dr. Albert Fontaine's offices. Dr. Fontaine and his trained staff have worked in orthodontics for more than 20 years and happily offer orthodontic treatment at their Dunedin and Spring Hill locations.
Dr. Fontaine provides patients of all ages with an array of options for their personal orthodontic treatment and treats each case with the utmost attention it deserves. Dr. Fontaine and his staff will provide you with first-class service using their expertise, the latest approved techniques among orthodontists, and advanced technology to design a thorough orthodontic plan for you or your child.
Patients should note that his two offices in Dunedin and Spring Hill have the word Pinehurst in their address. You should make sure not to use the wrong address; otherwise, you may unintentionally spend an extra hour or two driving.
The Dunedin office is on the same road as Dunedin High School. Dr. Fontaine's Dunedin office is a freestanding, brick building located approximately one block south on the opposite side of the road from Dunedin High.
Dr. Fontaine's Spring Hill office is only one block off of US 19. In fact, it is within visual range of the decorative waterfall at Spring Hill Drive and US 19. The Spring Hill office is in a brick, Key West style commercial building.
He is a native of Bradenton, Fla. He participated in accelerated/honors courses in high school and graduated summa cum laude, earning a 4.3 GPA. Dr. Fontaine also served as class president, became an Eagle Scout, and served as captain of the varsity football and wrestling teams.
His leadership abilities earned him officer positions in college in the University of Florida's student government, honor society, Kiwanis Club and intramural sports teams. Dr. Fontaine took UF's most difficult science and math courses and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and minor in mathematics.
He was voted into the Golden Key Society, which recognizes the top 1 percent of all college students in the nation. Dr. Fontaine was also voted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and began attending UF's College of Dentistry. Even though he was a sophomore, he quickly became the College of Dentistry's President of Students.
During his junior year, Dr. Fontaine became president of all Colleges of Dentistry in the southeastern United States and helped six other Florida students achieve national positions. In his senior year he brought forth legislation to the Florida Dental Association requesting student representation in the organization. Dr. Fontaine won the legislation, and became the first and youngest student member of the FDA.

Dr. Fontaine is a privately owned orthodontics practice. The staff are very professional, the office is extremely clean and well kept. Dr. Fontaine is personable and efficient. We've never waited an excessive amount of time for any appointment. So far we're very pleased. This orthodontist came highly recommended and it was for good reasons.

Dr. Fontaine and his staff are the best! Always pleasant and professional, Dr. Fontaine takes his time to explain the proposed treatments, progress and outcome. He and his staff are always smiling and fun to be around. Both of my sons have had their braces here, and I can say without reservation that I would choose Dr. Fontaine again. I feel like everyone cares about my sons and their treatment. Most importantly, son #1 who got his braces off first, now has a beautiful smile. I'm sure we'll get the same result for son #2.
