Dr. Alan R. Grodin has lived in the metro Detroit area his entire life. He went to Berkley High School and did his undergraduate training at Michigan State University. He graduated from the University of Detroit Dental School in 1982. His dental career began as an associate in the same office in Clawson in which he now practices. He became the owner of the practice in 1987, and has been providing excellent care for thousands of people over the last 33 years. He is very well known for his work in the area of cosmetic dentistry, especially porcelain veneers. Dr. Grodin has improved the smiles and the lives of countless people.
The dental practice of Alan R. Grodin, D.D.S. provides patients with all phases of general dentistry. However, cosmetic dentistry has always been a big part of his practice. Dr. Grodin is absolutely AMAZING! He is totally professional and honest about what needs to be done to create the results that you are seeking! He helped create a beautiful smile for me! Dr. Grodin and his staff are all very professional and amazing at what they do! I cracked and knocked my front teeth out in a freak accident when I was a teen. Dr. Grodin fixed my smile and made it perfect again. I get compliments on my smile all the time! I would highly recommend Dr. Grodin for not only cosmetic dentistry but all of your dental needs.

I cried tears of joy when I saw my incredible new smile. DR. Grodin is a talented dentist but also artist. He transformed my smile in the most remarkable way; my vaneers and new smile are stunning. It was painless and His entire staff is so kind. From his amazing wife, Doreen, who is the kindest, most wonderful person who truly cares about the patients to His hygienist who is also incredibly amazing. I give them a 10 out of 5.

My insurance company paid Dr. Alan for teeth cleaning, and he charged me and the insurance company twice ,didnt reimburse to me. Very greedy. I asked him why he didnt give me money back, about 300 dollars, which my insurance company already paid him. He said, i should have charge you lots of money for teeth cleaning, whatever I can charge, I charged you 300 dollars for teeth cleaning is already too cheap, I could have charged you 1000 dollars for cleaning.

Dr. Grodin's office treats you like family!! I have been so impressed with the quality of care I have received from everyone here. They have put in the extra effort on several occasions to check in on my progress with different procedures, which proves that they truly care about my health and well-being. r. Grodin really is an expert at his craft. When people asked me how i selected him to do my veneers I told them that there are dentists who do veneers and then there are veneer guys who do dentistry, this is him. I did not have a bad smile when I came to him but after communicating the few things I didn't like about my current smile, he knew exactly what to do. The entire process was very smooth and he does a very good job at communicating. His entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful and they are always sure to call and check up on you. My advice to anyone who is debating on getting porcelain veneers, don't wait and don't go to anyone other than Dr. Grodin. - Ryan Caldwell

Dr Grodin is truly an artist. After researching for over 5 years, I finally pulled the trigger for a consultation with Dr. Grodin for porcelain veneers. Doc and his team were so inspiring that I booked the procedure that same day. If anyone is thinking about cosmetic dentistry, please do yourself a favor and see Dr. Grodin, he will change your life! Not all dentists are the same. A lot of people I know thought I was crazy as my smile "wasn't bad," but after years of grinding, smoking, bottom over crowding and old bondings, I was insecure to show my teeth when I smiled. That's not the case anymore. Not only was his bedside manor second to none, his office staff is truly the most genuine and caring Team I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Dr Grodin's professionalism and patience with my dental phobias was extremely appreciated. I used to be scared to go to the dentist, now I'm excited to go see him and his staff - he's got a patient for life! He's been recognized by many publications like HOUR magazine, Best of Detroit and has worked on the Detroit Tigers and has many of other happy patients. Dr. Grodin, is not only a great dentist but a super nice guy. I have had the great fortune knowing this Doctor for a number of years outside of anything to do with working on my teeth. However why I find it fitting to leave such a favorable review, is my wife that has suffered with smile issues stemming from what she considered were bad teeth wet and saw him. The smile makeover that he performed was beyond what either of us felt was possible and we will always be grateful.

From the minute I went to my first dental visit, leading up to my 8th plus visit, Dr. Grodin is most genuine, sincere and always has my best interest at heart. The staff is friendly and immediately made me comfortable. I feel like I am a VIP... very important patient. My exams and cosmetic procedures were very thorough. Dr. Grodin and his staff took their time, as they explained thing that was being done, listened to my concerns, and eagerly answered all my questions. Dr. Grodin has a great rapport with his staff, as well as other patients he attends to, that gives you that feeling of "family."
