Graduating from Temple University with a degree in Pharmacy, he practiced pharmacy in the Washington Metropolitan area for 4 years. In 1990, Dr. Binstock went back to school and obtained his degree in General Dentistry from Howard University. Dr. Binstock completed a General Practice residency in the United States Army in Colorado Springs, where he received advanced training in restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, geriatric dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and special care dentistry. He went on to finish his military obligations at Walter Reed Hospital before setting up practice here in Severna Park.
Since moving to Severna Park in 2000 with his wife, Rebecca and their three children, Dr. Binstock has been an active member in the community. He spent many years coaching for Green Hornets football and scrub basketball as well as judging diving competitions at various pools around Central Maryland.

Some good some bad. My hygienist is fantastic. The front office staff are friendly and helpful. Let's be honest, no one loves going to the dentist.

Miracle Workers! They got me ectremely last minute for a dental nightmare and a cry for help even with their schedule so crazy and staff leaving for vacation they got me in and did their magic...I love Dana but want to give a special kudos to Jess, she's a woman with a force she came in jumped right in hands first to assist dana without hesitation they are always so friendly and non-judgmental ~ They have worked with me not above me and with the most compassion. They will forever have my business

I can't stress enough that this is the office to go to. I have been shopping around literally for years for help with extensive restoration. Dr Binstock is the first dentist to actually LISTEN. He asked me what my goals were and I told him what i was working with financially and he made a plan that fit my needs. That's huge - a dentist that listens. Hears you. And then works with you. But that's only a part of the reason why this office is amazing. The staff - the ladies on his team are exceptional. On the ball, compassionate, sweet, not judgmental. And it's all genuine. I'm typing this with a half numb face in awe because i didn't panic today. I survived! I wasn't in excruciating pain during the procedure like i thought i'd be. I felt nothing. I laughed in the chair as Dr. B and Dana joked back and forth while working on my mouth with a working chemistry between them that made me feel so comfortable. Like i was part of the family. Throughout the years i have been to dental offices that were cold, rushed, and didn't seem to care about my needs or had the patience to work out a realistic care plan with me. I wish i would have come across Dr B years ago, but glad i've got him in my corner now.

Just had my first appointment. Finally!!!!! I have found a dentist and hygienist I will use for YEARS! Everyone is super friendly and Dr Binstock introduced himself as "Alan". I love that!

I've been going to Dr Binstock for a number of years now; and plan to stay with his practice for a long time. IHe and all of his staff feel like family now!! Dr B is the BOMB... and the office runs like a finely tuned Ferrari. They have the touch, from Dr Binstock's DDS skill and "lay it all out ... good or bad attitude" to the the Dental Assistants, to the front office insurance look-up and cost breakdown answers ... even the text reminders for appointments. Check these guys out!

Dr. Binstock has always gone the extra mile to assure I'm well taken care of. Having been a "special case" neglecting my teeth and gums for years as a kid, Dr. Binstock did a great job of restoring my teeth to my satisfied requirements. He, his reconstructive assistant, and hygienists have done great work and helped me achieve top notch oral hygiene. Check ups are thorough and dental cleaning sessions are always gentle yet leaving my teeth nice and "sparkly" clean. Dr. Binstock never forgets to check on the medical aspect of the checkup assuring areas like throat and tongue are good. Dental concerns I've had have always been listened to carefully. Treatment options were explained well. Support staff with billing and appointments is always efficient and helpful. Email and text reminders for appts are appreciated. What more can you ask from a dental staff. Thanks team!

Stop Goggling DDS !! I highly recommend calling them and making an appointment ASAP and you will see why they are simply with out a doubt the best !!! The entire team makes you feel very comfortable and treats you like you are their only patient , make you feel like family. This team actually , genuinely care about you.This is very hard to come by and I am very happy with my first assessment & cleaning and Plan of care moving forward with this Awesome Great Team!
