Dr. Rafla attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, earning a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 1990. In 1993 he completed a specialty certification in periodontics. Dr. Rafla also interned at the University of South California School of Dentistry, where he received the recognition of chief resident. In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Rafla is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, International Congress of Implantologists, Massachusetts Dental Society, and Worcester District Dental Society. Dr. Rafla is a diplomat of the International College of Oral Implantology and works with Spear Study groups and the International Team of Implantology.

Dr. Rafla has been practicing in the area for over 22 years and continues to provide excellent, state-of-the-art periodontal care to all of his patients. Dr. Rafla incorporates the latest proven dental technology to create a superior clinical environment. As a part of his commitment to ongoing education, Dr. Rafla organizes and lectures in monthly continuing-education meetings, including Spear Study groups and the Central Massachusetts Implant Team of Implantology group.

Myssi has been with our practice since May 2015, and she has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She attended Becker College, where she received a bachelors degree in business and design. She has a passion for dentistry and enjoys helping our patients set up the treatments that they need. Myssi also helps our practice to run smoothly and efficiently by making sure our team has everything needed to perform successful treatments. In her spare time, Myssi pursues photography as a hobby.

A friendly and talented receptionist, Lyset has been with our practice since October of 2018. Lyset was led to join the dental industry by her mother, who has served as a dental assistant for many years. She is focused on greeting patients with the utmost respect and friendliness, and she enjoys the excitement of helping patients achieve their aesthetic smile goals. When Lyset is away from the office, she enjoys singing, dancing, and traveling.

As our patient care coordinator, Donna has been with our team for over 22 years after earning her associate degree from Becker College. Donna is a very dependable and an amazing team player, and our patients enjoy seeing her familiar face when they visit our office. Her favorite part of our practice is our great team and our genuine care for our patients. With a great understanding of each of our provided treatments, Donna is able to help our patients understand their treatment process. Donna has two daughters Ashley, who is in her second year of nursing school, and Regan, who is a freshman in high school. When she isnt at our office, Donna enjoys antiquing.

In her role as a registered dental hygienist, Lynette has been with our practice for over nine years. She graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 1997 with an associate degree in science. She likes being part of a team that provides a high level of care and is on the cutting edge of technology. Lynette works with our patient to educate them on how they can improve and maintain their oral health, while also providing instructions on how to uphold a proper at-home oral hygiene routine. Lynette and her husband, Rob, have two daughters ages 13 and 16. She spends a lot of time on the field and traveling with her youngest daughter for soccer.

Heidi joined our team as a registered dental hygienist in 2008. She graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 2007 with a degree in dental hygiene and health sciences. She is a team player and works well with her coworkers. Heidi is a dedicated clinician and always gives 100% to our patients. Quality patient care is very important to her and being sure that patients receive the absolute best care while with her is one of her top priorities. She enjoys working in periodontics because it is fulfilling to be able to help our patients achieve a healthier smile. Heidi has two daughters and a son, and she enjoys spending time with her husband and children outside of work.

Laurie joined our team as a registered dental hygienist in 2003 after graduating from Quinsigamond Community College. She enjoys getting to know our patients and seeing the progress they make. At our practice, Laurie evaluates the oral health of our patients and educates them on ways that they can improve their oral hygiene. Her goal is to help each patient work toward maintaining an oral hygiene routine so that they can experience the full functionality of their smile. When not working, Laurie enjoys being with her two young children.

Maria joined our team as a registered dental hygienist in 2018. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. She enjoys working with patients and educating them about good oral health. Maria has two sons, and she enjoys spending time with her family and friends outside of work.

Alicia has been with us as a registered dental hygienist since 2017. She graduated with an Associates in Dental Hygiene from NYU and a Bachelors Of Science from Assumption College. She is proud to help patients lead healthier lives. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and her bulldog puppy Loki.

As a dental assistant, Samantha has been with our practice since 2011. She studied at Quinsigamond Community College and Curry College. Samantha enjoys the teamwork at our office and is dedicated to patient care. At our practice, she works alongside our periodontists to assist in both periodontal treatments and dental implant procedures. She ensures that our patients feel comfortable throughout their entire treatment process and is able to answer any questions they may have about their procedure. When not at the office, Samantha has a 2-year-old dog that she spends all her time with.
