Dr. Botes graduated at the top of his class from University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2004 after which he established his own successful dental practice in Pretoria and developed a reputation for being a perfectionist, a quality his patients greatly appreciated.
In 2009 Dr. Botes brought his family to the US and was one of only 35 applicants (out of 800) accepted into the prestigious Program for Advanced Standing Students at University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine. He was one of only 3 students to earn the PASS-International Dentist Award. He also received an award from Academy of Operative Dentistry as well as the Eisa Mozaffari award in Radiology. He partnered with Dr. Michael Hajatian in 2015 to establish Doylestown Family Dentistry.
The most enjoyable part of his work is getting to know the patients and being able to play a role in improving their oral health, which contributes to their quality of life. He is truly passionate about dentistry, but strikes a balance between his professional and personal lives. He maintains his fitness through running, biking and hiking with his family.
Dr. Botes and his wife Estelle have three daughters. When time allows, Dr. Botes enjoys spending time with his family, traveling. They travel to South Africa as often as time allows, but also enjoy road trips in the USA. They particularly enjoyed traveling to Colorado and appreciated the majestic scenery.
Dr. Mack attended Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry where she obtained her DMD in 2014. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society. She is interested in keeping up with the latest developments in dentistry so she can better serve her patients.
Dr Mack is an avid Philadelphia sports fans and tried to attend as many games as possible. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Mack enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, reading, and hiking with her pup, Daisy
A lot of our patients have come to us from other practices, often because they were unhappy with the treatment they were getting. Many felt they were being taken for granted, that their dentist was in too much of a hurry, or that they weren't getting the results they wanted.

Excellent family friendly dentist! The staff is very nice and accommodating. Dr. Botes is very nice, knowledgeable, and a great dentist. Highly recommended!

The office staff is very unprofessional and unfriendly. Margie the office manager is incredibly rude and doesn't give a (beep) about her job. She balance bills and denied my request for dental records. Dr. Botes is incompetent and hard to understand. He left filling material in my mouth for months causing severe inflammation. Safe your time, wallet, and teeth by not going here.

Great experiences, our whole family goes there. Latest technology- mouth scans for dental crowns, friendly and attentive staff. Heartily recommended!

It was a great experience. I was made to feel welcome. Everything was orchestrated to keep everyone safe ...lots of air filters going ...masks etc I will be going back. Dr Botes knows his stuff and I trust him. It feels as if we are friends and he totally has my best interest at heart.

Work performed was great.However,the scheduling staff neglected to check the insurance coverage before hand.Leaving us with a hefty out of pocket payment.

I came to this practice as a new patient recently and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The entire staff was so welcoming and friendly. I got to briefly meet both of the doctors who were both so personable and knowledgeable. I will definitely be recommending this practice to my family & am looking forward to coming back!

The BEST dentist and staff!!! It is always such a nice experience at this office! Dr. Botes is so nice every time I see him! He is so friendly and laughs with his staff all the time! He is genuine and so very gentle! He always communicates what he is doing throughout the appointment which always puts me at ease. I never have any worries when I have a dentist appointment ... I look forward to it because it starts my day off with laughs and smiles!

We are so glad to have changed dentists to Dr. Botes this year. He is amazing. So kind and patient. He explains everything before he does it and checks on you through the entire procedure to make sure you are completely comfortable. He has done crowns for both me and my husband and bonded my teen daughter's teeth. Her teeth look absolutely perfect now. She has so much more confidence in her smile. The entire staff here is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Best dentist office I've ever been to.

Dr. Botes is an exceptionally skilled dentist who is also very caring and compassionate. He worked with me to develop a plan that was perfect for me and then produced outstanding results. His staff is skilled, friendly and caring. His fees are very reasonable. I highly recommend him for any dental needs.
