Dr. Johnsons college career started at Oklahoma State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. From there, he went on to achieve his dental doctorate at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Since then, he has regularly pursued continuing education to further expand his clinical skillset, including completing the Implant Pathway Implant Continuum in 2019.
Dr. Johnson grew up in Clear Lake, and he and his wife Kyleigh were high school sweethearts at Clear Lake High School. Today, they have a young son named Callen. When he isnt busy caring for teeth, you can usually find him spending quality time with his loved ones, fishing, traveling to national parks, hiking, or simply enjoying the outdoors!

Mary hails from Stafford and has been a part of the dental field for two decades so far. Her favorite part of this job is her coworkers they feel just like family! At home, she is happily married with four children (two boys and two girls). As a social butterfly, hanging out with friends and family is her top priority. She also spends her free time lounging on the beach, watching movies, reading books, or (of course) taking care of the kids and their busy, ever-changing schedules.
Maritza first joined our dental office around 15 years ago, and shes proud to work alongside such an incredible team here in Houston. Her job teaches her new things about dentistry every day! Away from work, she has a loving husband, three girls, and one boy. Spending time with family is her biggest priority outside of work, which includes watching her kids various softball/baseball games and taking vacations together. Shes also always wanted to be a nail technician and even learned how to do acrylic nails all on her own.
Meleesas dental career impressively spans almost 40 years so far, with most of that time spent right here at our dental office. A Houston native, she studied at the University of Texas Dental School. What she enjoys most about her role is getting to work with great team members and patients, all in the name of improving health! Outside of dental office hours, you can typically find her enjoying quality time with her husband and children.
Originally from Houston, Rosy studied dental hygiene at Coastal Bend College in Beeville. Today, shes been a part of the dental world for almost 25 years. She takes pride in providing quality care to patients and educating them all about proper oral hygiene. If you love what you do, youll never have to work a day in your life and shes living proof of that! At home, she and her husband Miguel have three children named Michael, Brandon, and Emma. Her favorite hobbies include hanging out with family, watching movies, sitting by the pool, trying new recipes, taking road trips, fishing, reading biographies, and anything to do with crafts.
Amber has been a part of our dental office for nearly 25 years, having studied dental assisting at the University of Houston. Today, she couldnt ask for a better team of people to work alongside! At home, she and her husband Shane have a daughter who stays busy with cheerleader and swimming. The other members of their family include a puppy named Oreo and a fat guinea pig named Bubbles. As for hobbies, she spends her free time hanging out with family and friends, going to the beach, and visiting various amusement parks like Fiesta Texas, Splashtown, and anything Disney/Universal.

The first time I had my teeth cleaned, I didn't have any issues. Everyone was nice. 6 months later Rosie missed a few areas and when I mentioned it, she was aggressive with cleaning my teeth. When I went home I noticed there were still some areas that still weren't clean. I rescheduled and again Rosie was aggressive and made my gums bleed. My gums don't normally bleed like that. Very disappointed in Rosie. I don't know what happened to her.The Denist was a good dentist and I didn't have a problem with him.

Dr. Chris Johnson is a good honest dentist. Previous dentists said I needed more fillings and crows, but Dr. Johnson said my teeth were fine and we should just wait to see if anything gets worse. I told him that was not profitable and he said yes if he wanted more money he could have said to drill the teeth but they didn't need to be done. Good to know there are still honest people out there.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The office was well kept up with and very clean. I really liked all the girls, the hygienist did an amazing job in cleaning my teeth. I will definitely come back and recommend all my family and friends.

In summary, friendly, helpful and so very accommodating. My wife had said "Rosy is wonderful!" I will offer that doesn't do Rosy proper justice. "Simply extraordinary dental hygienist" is more like it. The great thing is that she is the perfect example of the entire staff. Go see Downtown Houston Dental. You will be delighted you did.

It was my first time there and everyone was very kind and welcoming! Melissa did my teeth cleaning and she did a great job. Dr. Johnson was very helpful with my questions and concerns and I'm already satisfied after my first visit; I'm looking forward to continuing my treatment with this facility.

DR. Johnson and his staff are fantastic. I have had a rough experience at a dentist in the past. They listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable and understanding. The procedure went perfectly with no pain. I have found my dentist and my family's dentist. Oh yes, the pricing is excellent!

Can't beat the convenience of this location if you already work in the downtown area. It's right next to the escalator that goes up in the tunnels. Check in process was easy and the front office staff were easy to work with. When they call you back you go up some stairs and it looks like horse stalls almost but I guess in downtown rent comes at a premium but it's really not that bad. The hygienist did a thorough job and the dentist was easy to talk to and also did a great job. Glad I found my new dentist in Houston with no troubles at all!

Dr. Johnson and his staff in downtown Houston are by far my best dental experience ever. Dr Johnson and his staff are compassionate, understanding and professional.
