Dr. Rush graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1972. He went on to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and graduated in 1978. Born and raised in Frankfort, KY, Dr. Rush decided to open his dental practice in the building above his father's general medicine practice, the late, Dr. Willett H. Rush.
Dr. Yeiser graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2004 with a degree in Economics. She went on to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and graduated in 2008. Upon graduation, she joined her father at his practice in downtown Frankfort. Dr. Yeiser enjoys working with patients to achieve the smile they have always wanted. She takes the time to get to know each of her patients and ensures that they have a full understanding of all diagnoses and recommendations.
Dr. Yeiser is active in a Spear Study Club which meets monthly and includes a group of other dentists and specialists. During this meeting they discuss new ideas in dentistry and research complex cases. This multidisciplinary approach to dentistry ensures that your care is comprehensive and organized.

The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. Dr. Yeiser is amazing, super comforting and is willing to go above and beyond to keep your natural teeth. She does not try and force you or suggest unnecessary appointments or procedures. I have had horrible experiences in the past with dentists trying to push expensive and lengthy procedures onto me, that weren't even necessary. So it took me a long while to be willing to see a dentist again. After seeing Dr. Yeiser, I feel super comfortable with her as a professional and that she is actually wanting the best for her patients. She has overall eased my dentist anxiety. I had a filling performed yesterday and I was in and out in less than 45 min. I was extremely anxious about the filling but I never felt any pain, and even after the numbness went away, I still had no pain. The whole procedure was quick, easy and my teeth look beautiful! HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Yeiser and her team are the best in the business. Dr. Yeiser has cultivated an environment that is warm and welcoming and that even makes the most anxious of patients feel at ease in her office. I absolutely love Dr. Yeiser and the staff at Downtown Family Dentistry! Dr. Yeiser and her staff are extremely knowledgeable, thorough, explains everything and follows up appropriately. They are the most caring, friendly, and most professional staff you will ever meet. As I tell everyone, I love going to the dentist, imagine that! I highly recommend Dr. Yeiser, she is, simply wonderful.

Dr. Yeiser is a wonderful dentist. She and her office staff provide a friendly and relaxing environment for dental work. Dr. Yesier is conservative in her treatment and very cost-conscious. I drive from Louisville to see her for these reasons. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

Dr. Rush and her staff are the best dental office I have used in my 65+ years. They are accomodating yet very professional. I travel quite a distance to take advantage of their services and wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

My son and I are patients there. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a dentist that is experienced and listens. They are very helpful and informative. They are great with my son. They can get you in pretty quick.
