Dr. Hanson joined our practice in 2012 following graduation from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She is originally from Minot, North Dakota and attended Concordia College in Moorhead. She is a member of the North Dakota Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the Christian Medical and Dental Association, and the Central District Dental Society. She is also active in the Jamestown Kiwanis Club,andserved as president of theOptimistClub of Jamestown.
Dr. Hanson is passionate about educating patients about their oral health, helping them to have a comfortable dental experience, and improving patients' self-esteem by combining art with science to create beautiful smiles.
Dr. Whitneygrew up on a farm near Windsor and attended school inPingree-Buchanan. Sheis excited and thrilled to be practicing near her home town. She strives to provide excellent dental care for the wonderful community that shaped her into the person she is today.
Dr. Whitney ran track and field at NDSU and attended dental school at UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln, NE. She practiced general dentistry at a community health center in Turtle Lake, ND for two years prior to joining Downtown Dental. She is a member of the North Dakota Dental Association.
Dr. Whitney and her husband, David,have three daughters and one cat. She enjoys crocheting and knitting while David watches football, going to the lake in the summer, and helping coach track and field wherever she may be needed.
Dr. Kelly graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistryin 2020 and is excited to be back in her home state of ND. After growing up in Carrington, she attended Concordia College in Moorhead. Dr. Kelly and her husband, Jordan, have a young daughterand baby #2 on the way! They spend most evenings going for long walks with their dog, so feel free to stop and say hi if you see them around town! She is also an avid indoor cyclist and enjoys playing the piano.
She is excited to offer dental care to the people of Jamestown and surrounding communities! She also emphasizes the importance of oral health as part of overall health to encourage healthy habits, while trying to provide a comfortable dental experience to patients.

I always have good experiences here. From the minute you walk in to the moment you leave you deal with friendly people. I have some sensitive gums and they really take care of me. They work around my schedule and are quick and thorough. I recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the area!

I've never felt so comfortable at a dentist before here! Michelle got me into a cancellation spot and remembered specific details from our call at my appointment which meant a lot to me that she cares. Sue the dental hygienist was absolutely wonderful! The dentist came in, Kelly, and was very personable and fantastic! I then went to schedule future appointments with Melissa at the front and she was great at scheduling as well as being knowledgeable with my insurance. Hands down such a wonderful team, I can't believe I'm looking forward to my next appointment!

What a wonderful dentist office! Took my 2 1/2 year old into get her teeth checked since I could tell she had some rot going on. They were so helpful and kind. I can't remember the name of the dentist we got but she was awesome! I'd like to give a shout out to what I am assuming is a dental tech/assistant named Vicky, she was so wonderful with my daughter and gave me some great advice as a first time parent with helping get my daughter better into brushing her teeth and was just so great with younger kids. She had my daughter laughing and smiling which I so greatly appreciate and even got her to brush without the typical head jerks. I HIGHLY recommend this dentist office.

Last minute, emergency visit was needed for my son, and they were able to see him the same day. They were very kind and personable, and helped keep him at ease - he has a fear of the dentist. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Greatly appreciate them and their time!

Went to get a tooth pulled today. Super caring and friendly staff. Very knowledgeable, and willing to explain everything to you and take their time. This is not just an in and out. With no explanation of whats happened more than the basics. They'll inform you of everything going on what theyre doing and why theyre doing it. While making sure you're not in discomfort.
