Dr. Kenna and his wife, Courtney, grew up in a suburb of Atlanta where they met in high school economics class. From there, Dr. Kenna attended Furman University in Greenville and graduated cum laude with a major in Biology. He then spent 5 years at the Medical College of Georgia earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine and completing a General Practice Residency (GPR). Within the GPR, Dr. Kenna received additional training in dental implant placement, restorative dentistry, and IV sedation. He is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2010, Dr. Kenna received a Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
Dr. Martin is a native of the Upstate and grew up in Greenville, SC. He attended high school nearby at Shannon Forest and then went on to attend Clemson University where he obtained a BS in public health. It took several years in the workforce before Dr. Martin found his calling to become a dentist. He went on to attend the Medical College of Georgia earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2013. Since then Dr. Martin has been in private practice and is very excited to return home to Greenville. His favorite aspect of practicing dentistry is opportunityto build relationships with his patients and helping them reach their dental goals from prevention to reconstruction. Dr. Martin has active memberships with the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Nikita was born and raised in the small town of Due West, SC. After attending college and obtaining her Bachelors in Healthcare Management, she moved to Maryland/DC where she found her love of dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Eva was born and raised in Alabama. She moved to Greenville in 2008 and shortly after married musician Mark Webb Jr. They welcomed their son in 2013 and daughter in 2015. She attended Palmetto School of Career and Development for her certificate in Expanded Duty Dental Assisting. Eva and her family enjoy spending time in Downtown Greenville with their two dogs
Emily grew up in Ohio and relocated to Greenville in May of 2015. She attended Wright State University where she received a Bachelor Degree in Marketing in 2006. After a year of marketing experience, she decided to change her career to pursue her passion in the dental field. Emily obtained her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010 from Sinclair Community College. Emily is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her daughter.
Brenda is a Florida native, but has now been residing in SC for the past 22 years. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my 20 year old son, my sister and twin nieces. I also enjoy attending local sporting events. While I have only been practicing dental hygiene for a few years, I truly enjoy educating and helping people have a healthier mouth. Thats why I chose this profession.
Angie grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where she and her husband love to go hiking, take road trips, eat in small hole in the wall establishments, and searching antiques shops for a fun find. They have been married 30 years and have lived in the Upstate for 16 years. They enjoyed raising four great kids together, which are now heading out into their own life journeys. They enjoy spending time with family with the addition of a new daughter-in- law and 2 new sons-in-law in less than 15 months. Angie LOVES her patients and catching up with them about their lives and families treating the whole person, not just teeth.
Rebekah grew up in the upstate of South Carolina and received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2017 from Greenville Technical College. Rebekah loves to spend her free time with family, friends and her dog Darby. She enjoys hanging out at breweries, coffee shops and taking advantage of all the beautiful hiking trails nearby. She loves to travel and is always planning a trip to explore the National Parks.

I'm so glad that I changed dentists! The people at Downtown Dental are so helpful and pleasant, and the office is bright and soothing. Dr. Kenna has a great personality and was very thorough in explaining my treatment plan.

Incredible staff that are both professional and personable. Chelsey and Niki at the front desk always greet you with a smile and warm welcome. Dr. Martin, with his trusty and capable assistant Trish are fantastic and know how to handle even the squeemish of patients. (If you ask nicely, Trish will hold your hand during the procedure). Throughout my procedure, Dr Martin communicated exactly what he was doing and what to expect. He outlined my different options of care and and offered his recommendations. And the text messages from the staff reminding me of appointments or following up after an appointment was much appreciated. Too notch group here!

We're so happy we found this place! We moved from out-of-state and a friend recommended this office. I've been in twice now. The first time was for my two childrens' regular check-up and today I went in for my own. We have worked with both Dr Kenna and Dr Martin and I could not have asked for better. Both were so down-to-earth and positive about our dental health--this was a relief to me because of very different experiences I've had in the past. The entire staff there has been awesome from the start. I highly recommend Downtown Dental!

I'm Active Duty Army stationed here in Greenville. I was excited to find out that I was assigned Downtown Dental as my primary dentist while assigned here due to the numerous great reviews. They DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! It was definitely the best experience I've ever had at the dentist!! Dr. Kenna was extremely nice and receptive while addressing and listening to my concerns. Upon completion of my initial exam, I was scheduled a cleaning for later in the day. My hygienist, I believe her name was Katie. She was amazing!! I have sensitive teeth and typically cringe during cleanings. She completed my cleaning in roughly 25mins and it was the best experience I've ever had. Seriously! No pain or discomfort at all. I watched Netflix and the chair has a gentle massage going on as well. I can't express enough how much I love this place!! Thanks, Downtown Dental for the great service and I'll absolutely recommend all of my friends and family!

Wonderful dental visit! The dental hygienist was very professional and kind and prompted me as to what she was going to do before she did it. Dr. Kenna was professional and kind as well. What sold me on this practice was what Dr. Kenna said to me. "If it isn't broke we don't fix it". My husband experienced the same top notch patient care and attention. We have found the dental practice for us! I highly recommend Downtown Dental to anyone seeking expert dental care.

Dr. Kenna and his amazing staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The hygienist is thorough and the office itself is comfortable and relaxing and there is always a lot of laughter coming from the different exam rooms. I can't recommend them enough!
