Dr. Rebecca Paige Downs graduated fromthe University of Southern Mississippi and received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Mississippi. In 1998, Dr. Downs accepted a position at theNaval Air Station in Norfolkand moved to Virginia. She fell in love withour area and was an associate at a large private practice for over twelve years. In 2013, she fulfilled a long awaited dream of opening her own practice.
Dr. Downs is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Tidewater Dental Association. She contributes to local dental study clubs and is committed to staying involved in the latest trends in dentistry.Her artistic touch has enhanced the smiles of many area residents and can do the same for yours. She is a preferred provider for Invisalign and can help you get the perfect smile you've been wanting. She provides everything from comprehensive exams, cleanings, and fillings to cosmetic dentistry. Her specialtiesinclude bonding, porcelain veneers, bridges, crowns, and more. The advantages of this practice means personalized, individual attention in a spa-like atmosphere.
Dr. Downs is caring and compassionate and looks forward to helping with any and all of your dental needs. She looks at her office as part of her extended family. She balances caring for her patients with her role as wife and as a mother of two very active boys. She still finds time to cook, coach baseball and support her New Orleans Saints.
Dr. Miller is a Virginia Beach native and graduate from First Colonial High School. He attended Old Dominion University where he graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science. He earned his DDS degree from University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he was part of the Pediatric and Oral Surgery Clerkships. Dr. Miller received the Edgar J. Jacques award for most proficient in oral surgery.
Dr. Miller prides himself on being a comprehensive general dentist. His top priority is patient comfort and satisfaction. He has a warm personality and cares deeply about all of his patients. He is comfortable with a multitude of general dentistry and oral surgery procedures including but not limited to, comprehensive exams and cleanings, fillings, cosmetic dentistry, third molar removal and more. Dr. Miller also offers his patients Invisalign to help them obtain a new found confidence in their smile.
In his free time, you can find Dr. Miller spending time out on the water fishing or on another adventure with his wife and their dog. He looks forward to the opportunity of helping you with all of your dental needs!
Jayson is a native of Virginia Beach and graduated from Old Dominion University in 1996. He married Paige Downs in 2000 and they have 2 sons, Cole and Reid. Before joining Downs Dental Care, Jayson was a Territory Manager for KRAFT Foods. He has a diverse background in sales, territory management and business, which is very beneficial to helping the practice grow.
Excellent customer service is her priority for patients. She enjoys helping patients to better understand their dental benefits as related to their treatment. This enables patients to make a better decision when it comes to their dental treatment.
Christi joined Downs Dental Care in 2014. She moved from Fairfax, Virginia to attend and graduate from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2003. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, she is an oral healthcare fanatic and loves to share her knowledge with others. She has lectured as a hygiene educator and speaker for Johnson and Johnson/Orapharma since 2007, working to increase the awareness of systemic links to dental health.
Melissa is one of our dental hygienists here at Downs Dental Care. She was born and raised in Virginia Beach, and graduated from Kellam High School. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in 2009.
Dental HygienistBobbie Jo is one of our part time hygienists here at Downs Dental Care. Bobbie Jo graduated from Old Dominion University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene, as well as a Minor in Community Health specializing in Geriatrics. Before moving to Virginia Beach, she lived in Savannah where she earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Armstrong Atlantic University in 2003.
Adriana is one of our part time dental assistants here at Downs Dental Care. Adriana has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She was born and raised in Venezuela where she trained as a Dentist prior to moving to Virginia. Upon her arrival in the U.S., she became a U.S. citizen and completed a Certified Dental Assisting program.
On the corner near our street is Stoney's Produce, and we are right across from Virginia Beach General Hospital. We are located straight back at the very end of the court. I really love this place. Honestly, I was a little skeptical mainly because in the past other dental facilities don't treat veterans so fair. This facility has treated my like have been there all my life(family). Very warm, caring and environment friendly from the front desk all the way to the dentist. Professional care on my dental work and great diligence. You all are awesome!! Thank you very much and I am looking forward to my next appointment.

Incredibly professional office! The best dentist I've ever had! Had to have a procedure that in the past would have caused me a lot of pain and stress but they were able to completely do the procedure with no pain. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dentist!

I feel compelled to give a review of Dr. Downs. I am 63 years old, and have a lifelong fear of dentists. Last night I had a dental emergency and called Dr. Downs. She promptly called me back even though I am not her patient. This morning she took care of me. It was painless and has cured me of my fear. She is amazing and so is her staff. Thank you very much.

First time here. Very welcoming office staff and environment. Met with Dr. Miller who made me feel very comfortable and was extremely understanding with all my questions. He was thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. Highly recommend Dr. Miller and the office staff.

My mother had teeth extracted here and was sent home same day with zero medication for pain. Although she was informed of the recovery protocol and the team was very helpful I do think these kind of procedures need some time of pain management. Nonetheless we are happy with our experience here and would recommend them to friends and family.

Greatest visit ever!! They squeezed me in last minute for an emergency service. Only dentist in the area to even try to find a spot for me. Everyone was so sweet to me. In and out service as well. UPDATE : My first cleaning from them was amazing. They took care of my x rays beautifully. I love the privacy they give in this office and they were QUICK! Grabbed me as soon as I walked in. Dr. Noah is amazing!

Dr. Downs and her staff are all absolutely amazing. I could not ask for a better dentist than her. After going to Konikoff for years and still having the same exact problem with my teeth, I decided to switch over to Downs Dental. Dr. Downs immediately, during my very first appointment, pinpointed the problem that had been long overlooked elsewhere and now I will finally have relief. The cleaning I got from the hygenist was superb. I am very lucky to have Dr. Downs as my dentist.

I am 62 years old and have been to a lot of dentists in my time. My last dentist moved out of state and I absolutely loved her. I also have dental anxiety. Someone recommended Dr. Downs. Long story short, I just had an amazing experience! First, my dental assistant, Bobbie Jo, was absolutely wonderful. The best I've ever had. So knowledgeable, thorough and kind. And Dr. Downs is also wonderful. She is thorough and knowledgeable but not pushy, insisting on this and that (unfortunately, that has been my experience). She recommended a very reasonable dental plan and was very understanding. Suffice to say, I am so grateful to have found this practice!!

I had an excellent new patient appointment today for tooth cleaning. From check in to check out everyone was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Having background in dentistry I appreciated their up to date techniques and equipment. Dr. Downs had such a soft and kind approach. I'm happy I found a great dental practice to establish my care!

Today was my first experience with this practice, and it was fabulous. Natalia was sweet and made me feel comfortable while getting a lot of work done. Dr. Miller was incredible and so far his work is impeccable. He is just a down to earth person.

Cannot say enough good things about Melissa who worked with me today. She has made a huge impact on my teeth and I can't wait to see her in the future. Dr. Miller also stopped by during my visit and was very nice. One of the best medical experiences I've ever had.

Recently decided it was time for a change and switched over to Down's Dental care. What a great decision that turned out to be. Dr. Downs was knowledgeable and professional and gave me lots of personal attention. My hygienist was incredibly thorough and explained everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable during my cleaning. All of the office staff were attentive as well. Just an overall great experience.
