A native of Montgomery County, Dr. Hal Cohenis a graduate of Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he was proud to serve as President of his class. He is also a graduate of Penn State University, where he earned a BS in Life Sciences.
Dr.Cohenhas worked as a dentist throughout the greater Philadelphia area for several years, and believes a trip to the dental office can actually be an enjoyable experience. Dr. Cohen actively pursues continuing education to provide his patients with the most current and progressive methods of treatment.Dr. Cohen has been named aTop Dentist 2022for General Dentistry byPhiladelphiamagazine and Main Line Today.
A long-time resident of South Philadelphia, Dr. Cohen currently resides in Ardmore with his wife, daughter, son and dachshund, Rufus. He enjoys spending his leisure time in the kitchen cooking, on the tennis courts, relaxing with a good book and eating his way around Philadelphia.
Sandy got her start in dentistry over 25 years working as an orthodontic assistant. After working in general dentistry and other specialties including oral surgery and endodontics, she has taken her talents to our front desk where she is currently one of the friendly faces who greets you upon arrival. Sandy lives in Downingtown and enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 sons and daughter.
There is no missing Cassies friendly, southern accent when she greets you at the front desk, or over the phone! Raised in Texas, she and her family moved to West Chester in 2020, when she also joined Downingtown Family Dentistry. Cassie has worked in the dental field for almost a decade and loves it! She has been married to her husband for 22 years, has 2 wonderful kids and 2 amazing grandkids. She enjoys spending time with family and friends every chance she gets!
Jen has worked at Downingtown Family Dentistry since she graduated from Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan in 2004. She loves her job and the relationships she has formed with her patients, hearing about their families and interests. When shes not working, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, golfing, and traveling back to her native Michigan to see family and friends.
Elina has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 20 years. After receiving her associates degree of Dental Hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh, she earned a BA degree in Health Sciences from West Chester University. She takes great pride and enjoyment in learning about each individual and their families, as well as educating them about oral health.
Born and raised in the former Soviet Union, Elina moved to Chester County in 1991. She enjoys travel and spending her free time with her family which includes: her husband, a local architect, her son looks to continue his art as a competitive dancer after high school, and her daughter who enjoys playing soccer and competing in gymnastics.
Our newest team member Patrice recently started her career in dentistry and has taken a real shine to it! She brings with her a wealth of experience in customer service and has enjoyed getting to meet our patients! She has four great children, and in her spare time, enjoys cooking, listening to music, and going to the beach.
She has 3 awesome kids with whom she enjoys having living room dance parties and exploring the outdoors. Katie is also an artist who creates in several mediums.She also enjoys taking courses online as she believes knowledge is the most valuable resource you can have!
