My goal at Downing Street Dental is to build a patient-centered dental experience for people in the Denver area. I want to change peoples opinions about what going to the dentist can be like and improve the standards of care that people expect from a dentists office.

Its important to me that every patient who walks through my door has the best possible experience and leaves happy enough to recommend it to their friends. The care I provide to everyone is nothing short of what Id want for myself. I believe that if I take great care of my patients, the business side of my practice will take care of itself.

At my practice in south Denver, I provide general dental services to people of all ages who visit my practice and specialize in cosmetic and emergency dental services. Improving people's smiles, boosting their self-confidence, and taking care of families as they grow is extremely rewarding - and something I'm really good at.

Beyond general dental care, I provide cosmetic services such as veneers and whitening, and restorative care like fillings, crowns, and bridges. I treat patients of all ages and particularly enjoy taking care of kids' teeth and helping them start healthy habits at a young age. Whenever necessary, I provide emergency services to patients in need and can help alleviate any tooth pain quickly. Many of my regular patients first found me because they were in extreme pain, needed immediate help and saw that I offer emergency services. I know from their return visits that I provide great care because they keep coming back and dont have anxiety about visiting me.

Winning my patients trust is important to me because it is how I am able to provide them with the best possible care and how I know I'm practicing dentistry in the right way - with plenty of personalized attention, gentle hands, and a wide variety of services all under one roof.

In his free time, Dr. McLain enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and two kids, and their two French Mastiffs. When hes not home, you can find him doing modified crossfit, snowboarding, and hunting for great live concerts.

Dr. McLain has a unique background in business that he leverages to constantly build a better practice. He's passionate about providing state-of-the-art care and staying on top of the latest technologies and therapies so he can offer them to his patients. To do that, he commits himself to dozens of hours of continuing education every year.

I became a dentist because I loved the idea of using my hands, compassionate spirit, and calm demeanor to create and promote access to oral health care for patients of all walks of life. Especially those with mild to extreme dental fear.

I strive to exceed patients expectations by giving them a unique personalized experience where they are respected, valued, and they feel their concerns are heard. My goal is to involve them in the process of establishing their dental needs and planning their dental care. I believe in helping patients through any fear or anxiety to complete their treatment by using a compassionate and calming demeanor and a gentle touch.

I am not the typical dentist. I have unique experience in emergency dentistry having practiced primarily in emergency care for most of my career. It is very important to me to establish a clinical culture where patients feel safe and comfortable at all times. I find relieving patients from the debilitating pain of a toothache or stressful nature of an urgent dental issue in their time of need to be very satisfying. This means I have dedicated my career to making myself available to patients, including new patients, at all times even when virtually no other dental services are available.

Incorporating cutting-edge dental techniques and philosophies and up-to-date technology allows me to deliver essentially all types of urgent, general, and cosmetic dental services. I am very committed to high quality, efficient, and pain-free dental care for all of my patients in their time of need.

Jessica is yet another transplant to Colorado. Originally from San Diego, CA where she graduated from SDSU with a degree in Business Management and Accounting. She began her career in Dentistry over 15 years ago and truly loves helping patients stay healthy and achieve the smile of their dreams. Jessica is our Business Manager and Insurance Guru, she works side by side with our patients to help them better understand their dental benefits and treatment options. She enjoys getting to know the patients, easing dental anxiety and truly treats everyone as if they were her family. Dental Anxiety was a large part of her personal story and its very important to her that our patients feel calm and cared for every step of the way. When Jessica is not in the office she likes to travel, dance and see as much live music as possible!

Danica is an RN and Dental Assistant who grew up in Toronto, Canada! She has always had a love and curiosity for health, science and the human body! She originally went to college in Toronto for Fitness & Lifestyle Management, which focused on personal training and nutrition. However, she decided to expand on that platform and made her move to the US in 2003. She completed her Bachelors of Human Biology in 2007 at The University of Michigan and then followed it up with an Accelerated Second Degree program, completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 also from U of M! Shortly after graduating, she moved to Denver and has loved the change of scenery and warmer weather compared to the mid-west!

With 10+ years of nursing experience and knowledge, Danica brings a new element to Downing Street which has been key in integrating our new emergency dental model! She is quickly learning a new side to health care and enjoying it every step of the way!

Sarah is the only Colorado-native at the office. Shes been a Dental Assistant for more than 17 years and has spent the last 14 years at Downing Street Dental. Shes a familiar face to our patients and loves listening to stories of their lives and watching younger patients grow up. She treats everyone like family and helps new patients feel at ease. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, baking, and playing with her dogs.

Tera, our Rockstar Dental Assistant, brings decades of experience to our practice and is originally from Arkansas. With her heart of gold and clinical expertise, youre sure to feel at ease during any Dental Treatment Visit. When Tera is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She also enjoys cooking and watching for Hummingbirds every chance she gets!

Michelle brings over 20 years of experience to our practice. She loves helping her patients achieve optimal dental health and getting to know them along the way. She grew up in Calgary, Canada where she attended Loma Linda University in California and finally landed in Denver in 2003. She loves the outdoors, spending time with her husband, daughter and dog. Not to mention all the different sporting events that Denver has to offer!

Sarah is one of our amazing Hygienists who brings a wealth of knowledge, gentle hands and a loving spirit to our team. Raised in St. Louis, she moved to Colorado 6 years ago for all that this state has to offer. Her absolute favorite part of Colorado are the people and the preventive attitude towards health that can be found here. She values education and strives to make patients feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. Outside of the office, Sarah spends a lot of time outdoors hiking, biking, and paddleboarding. She also has a passion for travel and exploring new places and foods!
