Dentists and orthodontists do very good work, but the service is very expensive. Procedures or surgeries that Downey Dental Art charges a high price at other good quality clinics charge for less. No matter what dental insurance you have, you will always end up paying out of pocket because their fees are very expensive.

I was very disappointed this time cause my son appointment was at 4:20 and it was 5:30 and we were still waiting for treatment the receptionist tell us that we need to way for another hour to be seen so we have to leave the office and reschedule that was no good.

Not very pleased with my Visit. I was given advice from the dentist and hygienist, which was very thorough. When the manager came to explain the cost, she went straight to the most expensive option and Didn't even share the other options, I had to ask. Felt like she just wanted my money. I will Not be coming back here. It has definitely changed since the time I have last been. Don't be cheated out of your money, they don't care about your teeth just your pockets. So disgusting. Please get new Managemnent

Throughout my dental appointments I was treated with thorough explanations, friendly vibrations, patience and compassion, and quality work. I made some great conversations and connections with staff. I used to be able to get a Saturday appointment, one year later - it's nearly impossible. Lately the office has an atmosphere of dread and lacking in customer service and lacking in joy. Speaking of the braces it's not cheaper or better- it's average, no horror story. I did appreciate to be able to make monthly payments. Invisiline was very expensive too so I had to opt for metal.

Friendly, organized, on-time appointments, helpful and responsive staff, knowledgeable and informative orthodontists and technicians who field questions, prime for expectations, offer clear recommendations, and make you feel comfortable. Very good experience so far.

I would not ever recommend people to come here all they care about is the money and the act and pretend like they care about people but they just charge fees after fees.And it's ghetto!Every time was a terrible experience.

A few years ago Dr. H was the best, my family enjoy going to Downey dental. Sadly they failed to follow through with a contract after I paid thousands of dollars upfront for services. Instead of completing the job they're trying to charge me thousands of more dollars. Unfortunately like most dental/ Ortho offices It has become about profit and not patients. Abeliism is running rampant and unchecked in his office. The "office manager" claims that everything is Doctor Hamids call, that he is in charge of all of these decisions. I was ready to continue my services today(in the chair) when the office manager had the staff pull me out of the chair and demand for me to pay an extra couple of thousand dollars and $500 of it today on the spot even after I've already been given them upfront thousands of dollars and they've never completed the services I paid for. Nobody wants to get sick, that's life. This is just bad business and I will not return or I recommend anyone else to use these offices . It reminded me of Western dental, even worse! So saddened by this experience. It's just money, I suppose.

DISHONEST. I highly recommend you or whoever is taking your kids to this place to question ALL their treatment plans. BEWARE of any unnecessary procedures. If you don't trust just any mechanic to fix your car and exponentially charge you, then don't just trust anyone with a medical/dental degree. It's been weeks and still awaiting to hear from them... Good morning Downey Dental Arts, Thank you for speaking with me last Saturday, May 7th. Just to rekindle what was discussed, I hope that we solve the misleading procedure and billing that was done for my daughter. I was not present at the time and my daughter's mother and I believe that she was taken advantage of with unnecessary (4) Bone Replacement Graft for Ridge Preservation. I understand that MetLife does not cover much on removing (4) wisdom teeth however adding unnecessary procedures is unsafe for my child and we cannot afford it out of pocket. Downey Dental Arts was my first choice due to your great reviews and professionalism throughout the years that my daughter has been seen there. Countless times I would steer my friends, colleagues, and friend of a friend towards Downey Dental Arts for the superb customer service and fine dental work and to keep that same enthusiasm. Nevertheless, I do not see this issue escalate because I know that Downey Dental Arts are professionals and strive for quality customer service. I look forward to hearing from you.
