Dr. Jones graduated from the University of North Carolina Dental School in 1998. He then completed a General Practice Residency at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship and Residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Jones is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and is an instructor for Basic Life Support. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and McHenry County Dental Society. He is also a clinical assistant professor at University of Illinois Dental School and treasurer for the Chicago Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
During my extramural clinical rotations through the UIC College of Dentistry, I was challenged to become a flexible and adaptive clinician. At Asian Human Services, I was able to design complicated treatment plans for immigrant patients who had received failed treatment from their home countries. My patience, creativity, communication, and patient-doctor rapport was polished at the Childrens Clinic when I treated fifteen-year-olds who acted like two-year-olds, and two-year-olds who acted like fifteen-year-olds. My speed and endurance evolved at Dr. Radas Clinic when providing comprehensive dental treatment to special needs patients under anesthesia. This involved diagnosing, treatment planning, and executing the treatment within a limited two-hour timeframe.
During my education at the UIC College of Dentistry, I refined my dentistry skills. My dental experience as a student was comprised of providing comprehensive dental services through direct and indirect restorations, fixed and removable prosthodontics, non-surgical endodontic and periodontal therapy, and oral surgery. In addition, my training in digital dentistry, implant dentistry, and orthodontics made me significantly interested in pursuing continuing education to expand my skills as a clinician. I became familiar with prescribing oral appliances for sleep apnea patients, analyzing the upper airway through CBCT software, and providing limited orthodontic treatment.
Edita has been in the dental field for over 18 years. She started as a dental assistant and has become proficient in all aspects of this position. She always strived to do more for our patients. After being dental assistant for 14 years she went through training to be an office manager. She is dedicated to help patients have a smooth, educated and comfortable experience. What makes her stand out is her belief and commitment to make dentistry available to every patient in need. She takes her responsibility seriously. She is always willing to help and work with patients to make sure their needs are being met.
Ani has been a dental assistant for well over 5 years. She loves being a dental assistant. She is very compassionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Her warm smile helps put anyone who is anxious about dentistry in ease. Ani is very dedicated in providing exceptional patient care. She has two dogs named Buddy and Kaner, whom she adores very much. During her spare time she loves to sing. She enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with her family.
Monika received her dental hygienist degree from College of DuPage. Monika joined our team in 2016. She is gentle, thorough and very knowledgeable. She takes her time to really evaluate patients concerns, gum health and oral hygiene practices. She is a very valuable resource to make sure the foundation of our patients teeth is well taken care of. Her goal is to provide comfortable care, a satisfying experience and help patients achieve the best oral health possible. Patients love to see her and she receives lots of compliments about their experience with her.
