Absolutely amazing service, the most positive dentist experience I've ever had. They were mindful of everything I mentioned and were quick to provide me with the care I needed. Absolutely check them out if you're in need of dental work.

Absolutely the best. Super helpfull. Tooth pain started to come up. We are from out of state and for vacation in the area but nowhere there was space for last minute treatment. They made sure we could arrive later on the same day we called and were really helpfull!

I needed a repair to a chipped tooth and local dentists could not accommodate until November. I called my dental insurer and was given this name. After calling, I was able to get an emergency appointment....the next day! Due to not having me as a patient and not knowing my dental history, they were unable to guarantee a fix. However, they scheduled a second appointment to assure that I would have it and not have to wait and wonder if I could get another appointment sooner rather than later. Thankfully, it was done in one visit and I was able to cancel the second appointment. I will gladly travel the hour and a half it takes for me to get there for the excellent and competent service...including the extraordinary staffers, Barbara and Carmen. I sincerely could not rave enough about this dental experience.

I am 40 and it had been a couple decades since I dare walk through a dentist office other then for my kids. My front teeth had really been bothering me. I would not smile a full smile so that no one could see the cavities that had developed on my front teeth. Dr. Wright and his assistant Carmen make a great team. I am honestly and whole heartedly so highly impressed with how great my teeth look. I'm so grateful I made an appointment with this dentist office. The receptionist is helpful and professional as well. The business as a whole is outstanding. I'm a nervous Nelly and not only do the teeth Dr W. worked on today look amazing he also made it so I felt no pain through the whole process. He even made the Novocain shot painless with numbing cream and his expertise. I did not even know it was possible to make the Novocain shot painless. I imagine I am not the only one and most people feel uncomfortable with the sounds that come along with dental work and getting cavities filled. Having the fear of wether it's going to hurt, what if not enough Novocain ect....... I just want you to trust that I really don't think i could have felt anymore comfortable. He is the best dentist I've ever had and I had braces as a kid so I've been to the dentist and have had my teeth pried, manipulated, cleaned, pulled you name it and I've probably had it done. I just had to say something with how impressed I am and how you made it painless, me as comfortable as possible and with how amazing my teeth look.

Julie is the best hygienist I've ever had. Dr Wright has a great touch with novacaine, and is very sensitive to the patient's level of comfort. Barbara's pleasant smile and patience is a great way to start and end the visit. I highly recommend this practice for all your dental needs.

Julie and I giggle and laugh the whole time I get my teeth cleaned. Dr. Wright is very professional and personable. My husband and I get great care from this dentist and staff.

Incredible flawless work. I also greatly appreciate the Dr's choice to insist on NSAIDS as opposed to opioid medication. If I were staying in the area I would certainly make downeast dental my primary care.

I recently found out my long time dentist retired. I had a problem with a tooth, called Downeast Dental and they fit me in the same day. Turned out it was not able to be saved and they did the extraction right away. Very friendly staff, thorough and easily explained what needed to happen and why. I can HIGHLY recommend them.

I love Julie! She came and did dental education to our preschoolers for years and has had all of my kids in her chair plus us! Kevin and the staff seem friendly and knowledgeable. Kevin did a crown and a filling on my teeth and it was a good experience. He answered all my questions before and after. I like being able to book ahead an appointment now. And texting to remind me.

Best dentist I've had. Painless Novocain and very quick. My teeth come hard to pull. Best recovery time. Pleasant staff. Dr. is very friendly and caring. If your scared of dentists , this is the place to go.

Dr. Wright and the staff at Downeast Dental are some of the nicest people I've seen at a dentist office. Dr Wright is very knowledgeable, helpful and informative in answering questions especially during the decision making process. I've found my new Dentist!

Julie has been cleaning my teeth for years, I think since I was in high school (1993/94). To date, the only cavities I've had was while I was going to another dentist, living in another part of the country. She's the best...and I will keep going here for as long as she gets a raise! ( you gotta try to look out for the folks that look out for your teeth!) The new Dentist was also really great, relaxed, easy to talk to. I rarely write reviews for things like this, but if you're new to the area...this is about as good as it gets in dental care.
