Ive dreamed of being a dentist since the age of eight. I grew up in Lake Carmel, a small suburb of New York City. As the youngest of six children in a loving Italian family, my siblings and I are the first generation of Cariellos to attend college.

I graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany with my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and went on to complete my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2000 at SUNY Buffalo. During my time in Buffalo I married my wife, Carrie, and worked as an associate for a wonderful dentist, Dr. Stanley Scott. Under his guidance, I learned to manage staff and create long-term relationships with my patients.

Carrie and I had our first three sons in Buffalo; Joseph, Jack, and Charlie. We were very content as new parents in a wonderful city. However, with small children we realized the importance of being closer to extended family and we began to explore other areas to settle.

In 2006 we visited my brother in New Hampshire for Thanksgiving, and immediately fell in love with the Amherst area. After careful consideration, I purchased this practice and in the spring of 2007 we said a heartfelt good-bye to Buffalo.

At last I began the exciting endeavor of building the dental practice I had been dreaming about since I was an 8-year old boy visiting my hometown dentist. At Dovetail, I want to make every patient feel as I did years ago in the dental chair like you are the only patient I have.

The summer after we moved to New Hampshire our daughter Rose was born, and our youngest son Henry followed 18 months later. My pride with Dovetail Dental is second only to the delight in my beautiful family of five children; Joey (17) Jack (16), Charlie (14) Rose (13) and Henry (11).

As your dentist my first priority is your oral health and well-being. I have the best team in New Hampshire, and we work to stay on top of the latest technological developments in the industry while providing the hometown care you deserve.

Dr. Vicktor G. Senat was born and raised in Boston Mass. He first received an Associate degree in Physical Therapy from Newbury College and went on to receive his Bachelor degree in Biology from Central Conn State University. After a few years working in a rehabilitation hospital as a Physical Therapy Assistant, he went on to attend and graduate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston Mass.

Dr. Senat has been practicing General Dentistry in the State of New Hampshire since 2005. After 9 years in private practice in Amherst NH, Dr. Senat decided to fulfill his dream to serve and give back to the community. For a year and a half, he led a dynamic team of dental professionals with the same desire to serve, in a Federally Qualified Health Center in Nashua NH.

With a strong commitment to continuing his education and keeping up with the newest dental technologies and advancements, Dr. Senat attends courses regularly in all areas of dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and Spear, a national dental education organization with local study groups.

Dr. Senat served as a volunteer clinical instructor at Tufts Dental School. He has also mentored dental students from Boston Universitys APEX program as well as many Dental Auxiliaries from local programs.

Our dental hygiene team is an amazing group of health driven professionals who will partner with you to achieve oral health in conjunction with overall health. They foster an educational environment that lends to a judgement free atmosphere that is sure to make you feel at home.

A native of New Hampshire, Cami has seen many changes in the area, (long enough ago to remember the chicken farm on 101A and Roy 's Variety... 'Eat here and get Gas!). She has been with the practice for 34 years, seeing third and some fourth generations of families with a warm and caring attitude. She has been an active Regional Board Examiner for the past twenty years and volunteers at the Hospice House in Merrimack. Cami recently completed her degree in Allied Health Leadership and along with obtaining her certification as a Public Health Dental Hygienist. Cami loves her work and connecting with each of her patients.

Donna was born and raised in Chelmsford, MA and currently resides in Amherst, NH where she has raised two wonderful daughters, Grace and Abby, with her husband Michael. She found a love for dentistry early and started working in the field when she was just 16 years old. She graduated from MCC Lowell for both Dental Assisting as a CDA and Dental Hygiene (RDH). With over 25 years of diverse hygiene experience, Donna has found joy in making visits fun for both children and adults. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team, and she is happy to have found her new dental home here at Dovetail (often joking about her new long commute)! In her free time, Donna enjoys volunteering at Peacock Players Childrens Theatre, sewing for her Etsy business, Sassygirl Headbands, running with her group, The Sassy Striders, or hanging out with her family and their dog, Max.

Patricia was born in Portugal before moving to the states and being raised in New England. She now resides in Merrimack, with her husband and her pit/lab mix named Odin. She speaks three languages including English, Portuguese, and Spanish which is a huge asset to our multilingual patients! At age seventeen Patricia already knew dental hygiene was her calling. She achieved her Associates in Dental Hygiene from NHTI and then went on to get her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene at Vermont Technical College while working full time as a hygienist. Patricias warm personality and calm demeanor allows her to easily connect to her patients and ultimately help each and every one achieve a healthy smile. During her free time Patricia loves to read, spend time with friends, and go hiking with her husband and Odin!

Another New Hampshire native, Rachel spent her undergraduate summers working as a dental assistant while earning a bachelors of Biomedical Science from UNH. She then spent two years as a dental assistant in Boston while earning another Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from Forsyth at MCPHS University. As a passionate lifelong learner, Rachel is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health. She enjoys using her vast background to help educate and empower patients towards a happy, healthy smile. She has found that she is able to quickly connect with patients here at Dovetail as a lifelong resident of the area. On weekends she enjoys live music, lake days with her boyfriend, and trying new restaurants with her family and friends

Ashley was born and raised in South Shore Massachusetts. She moved up to New Hampshire in 2016 to pursue her degree in Dental Hygiene and graduated from NHTI in Concord. Her goal as a hygienist is to provide the best care while making sure her patients are comfortable. In her free time, Ashley likes to kayak and boat on Lake Winnipesaukee as well as play her trumpet or piano, and play with her three new kittens.

Julie is originally from Texas, but has happily resided in the Lakes Region of NH for the past 22 years.She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University and is a recent graduate of NHTIs Dental Hygiene School. Julie was a long-term

patient at our sister office in Moultonborough before joining our team! Her favorite part of dental hygiene is providing patients the experience of great dental care. Educating and encouraging patients through their personal dental journey is her top priority. Her patience and understanding nature make it easy for patients to feel comfortable and supported. Julie

loves getting to know her patients and building long term relationships. She lives on a small farm in New Hampton with her two horses, two mini-donkeys, ducks and chickens. She is a dedicated mom of three wonderful children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends on the lake, camping, trail riding and traveling.

Although, Claudia retired in December 2018, she is our go-to when someone needs time off. She loves seeing familiar faces when she is covering and our patients enjoy her guest-appearances. If you don't know Claudia, she grew up in Nashua, NH, graduated from Forsyth Dental in Boston, and then started her career in Nashua, NH. She moved to the San Francisco area shortly after and practiced in California for 14 years. Moving her family to New Hampshire in the 80s allowed Claudia to practice in Amherst throughout the rest of her career. She was active in the schools and the community when her daughters were growing up and now spends as much time with her grandchildren as she can.

In case you didn't get the pleasure of meeting Patty here is a little bit about her. Growing up, Pattys fathers Army career brought the family to many places, including Connecticut, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Okinawa. Having graduated from Nashua High, she studied Medical Technology at UNH. Like her mother, she chose a career as a dental hygienist, graduating from NHTI-Concord. Patty worked for 35 years in a variety of practices, including periodontal and orthodontic and worked at our Amherst, NH location for 26 years and continues to be a pioneer for the oral-systemic connection and overall health.

Our dental assistants are warm and friendly. They strive to get to know each of our patients and assist in making them feel comfortable, they take the time to listen to each patient, and educate them on their oral health needs and how it connects the their overall health.

Born and raised in Southern New Hampshire, Jess has no desire to live anywhere else. Graduating in 2008, as a Certified Dental Assistant, from New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, Jessica offers a great balance between energy and expertise. Her bubbly personality and genuine compassion for people allow her patients to feel comfortable and calm. She enjoys spending her free- time with her husband and young son, Mason.

Fernanda is originally from Brazil where she graduated as a Speech Therapist before moving to North America with her family. After almost 10 years in Canada, and after her daughter started school, she decided to re-join the workforce. Fernanda attended Medix College in Kitchener, Ontario and graduated at the top of her class as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Her husband was soon transferred to Bedford, NH where they settled in. We were lucky enough to meet her as a patient, and upon learning that she was a CDA, we collectively knew we wanted to work with her! She brings a strong work ethic and uncanny dedication to the practice. Her innately caring demeanor is an asset to the team and immediately puts patients at ease. In her spare time, you can find her cycling with her husband, son, & daughter and enjoying outdoor activities with their chocolate (espresso because shes crazy) labrador, Lou.

Dominique is a Southern New Hampshire native, and LOVES that her whole family is local. As the oldest of five kids, family has always been a big part of her life. She currently resides in Milford with her hilarious husband, Joey, and their fur babies. With over ten years of experience in the dental field, she continues to be passionate about helping patients achieve their oral health goals. She is an exceptional team player, and loves seeing and helping her teammates succeed. As a true foodie, she and her husband love to travel and experience the local cuisine wherever they may be. In her free time, youll find Dominique camping, in Zumba class, or attending concerts.

Casey was an ex-tern at our sister office, Interlakes Family Dental, for several months, actively learning all aspects of dentistry before she joined their team in 2013. We are overjoyed to have her as part of our clinical team here at Dovetail too! Not only is she friendly, patient and always smiling, she is a great intellect. Her accolades include Graduating as President of her Dental Assisting Class, obtaining her degree in Health Science (both achieved in the same year!), and being one of the first in NH to receive her Expanded Function Dental Auxillary (EFDA) Certification. Casey serves as Treasurer of the American Dental Assisting Association of NH and is currently on the NHTI Dental Advisory Board representing Dental Assistants of NH. She resides near lake Winnipesaukee with her husband, Andrew. When not doing house projects, the two spend most of their time enjoying outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and snowboarding. Casey's main goal is to continue her education to serve her patients with the most advanced care possible.
