I am a loyal customer of Dover Dental since 2017. I've waited until now to write my review. Why? Because I expected some procedure to go wrong. I based this belief on my past experiences with other dentists. I am proud to say that nothing has ever gone wrong. Every experience at Dover Dental has been positive, relaxing and even enjoyable thanks to Dr. Sahafi, Diane, Janelle & Brenda. Many years ago, I shopped around for the best deal regarding the cost of dental services. Don't waste your valuable time or money making that same mistake. Dover Dental offers insurance in-house. Their cost for insurance is slightly less then that of some other dental policies. They worked with me on my payments during the pandemic and continue to do so. I highly recommend trying Dover Dental, especially if you have any fear of the dentist. Fear no more. These ladies know exactly how to make you feel relaxed and the quality of work is amazing. I look forward to my appointments every time.

It was just fine at Dover Dental today. I got in fast to have my teeth cleaned and Janelle was great as usual. She informed me exactly what was going on and why. Brenda then gave me an appointment in October, then I was on my way out the door.

I just returned from having my teeth cleaned at Dover Dental in Newport Beach. I was the only one in the office (mentioned to me as being their normal procedure now to protect their clientele). They have vacuums, air purifiers and the work they do is pain free. They really are concerned about providing a safe place to have your dental work done. Not only is Dr. Sahafi extremely competent in her dental work, she is so friendly. Her staff is as well. They really make you feel comfortable and cared for. I would highly recommend Dover Dental and Dr. Sahafi.

Tina Turner sang it best; "Simply the best "Better than all the rest" See Dr. Kate Sahafi & her really. REALLY great staff! She'll remove any fears you have & do a superb job. Can't say enough about Dr. Kate. Professional, excellent, charming. Oddly, I usually look forward to going! Never thought THAT was possible!

Dr Sahafi ruined my life. I went to see her during a very vulnerable time in my life. I was divorcing after 30 years of marriage. I went, optimistic and wanting a new smile. A plan was made to cap my upper teeth and place several implants. I agreed and paid her$17,000 with a balance of 2700. She proceeded to grind my teeth down and temporarily cap my teeth. At 2 months I called to make a appointment but she refused to see me until I paid the balance. I was unable to pay the balance for 5-6 months. I tried several times to make a appointment, but she refused, when I was able to pay the balance she agreed to see me. At that time she sold me that because of the temporary caps being on so long that my teeth had" bathed in a bath of whatever I ate or drank and had therefore dissolved. Her only choice was to pull all my upper teeth and fit me for a denture. I was devastated. I had tried many times to see her but because I could not afford the balance she refused. They were so kind at first. She knew that I was coming out of a horrific divorce and I trusted her. But what she gave me was a complete upper plate that looks like horse teeth I can not afford more dentistry, so what I am left with is a really poor denture that cost me 21,000 dollars. I started a law suit but it was so humiliating taking photos with and without my denture that I could not continue. I feel dr Sahafi completely took away any confidence I had. I no longer taste food, my plate slips and clicks, and I am embarrassed to be around others. She has offered no compensation nor refund. I have continued to live with this for several years. I can honestly say, she has ruined my life and feels nothing for my suffering. Don't go to this dentist. Money is her bottom line with no regard to people's feelings.

Dr. Sahafi My beautiful and excellent dentist. It took me years to do my entire mouth and trust a dentist I highly recommend Dr. Sahafi and her entire dedicated staff that truly cares about her patients. I had a lot of work done and never experienced any pain. Hope

Dr.sahafi is a great person and all have a very frankly smile and super service and they all interact and the work they do there is amazing service. Big thumps up for all of them.

Dentist herself is nice and good but the front desk lady I don't remember her name. She verified my ins told me that they were in network with my ins so i made the appt and went there get my teeth cleaned and again I asked her if I have any type of payment to make please tell me I can't make payments now so I don't make any apt. She said no ma'am you are all covered. 3 weeks later I receive a bill from dentist office asking for 130$. When I called my ins they said that Dover dental is not in network. So I called them back and and told them instead of waving the payment since it was their mistake they kept sending me statements at home. I couldn't make the payment thats exactly why I wanted to know in the beginning if I had to pay. So the send me a warning letter of sending me to collections. So now I have to pay regardless. I'm so disappointed.
