Dr. Vantramp was going through the Army ROTC parachute jump training program at Fort Benning, Ga., when he learned of his acceptance into the Dental School Program at Oral Roberts University. Soon after, he moved his young family to Tulsa, Oklahoma. With the love and support of his hard working wife, Charlie, he graduated from the Michael Cardone, Senior School of Dentistry in 1982. During the graduation ceremony, Dr. Vantramp was recognized by the Oklahoma Academy of General Dentistry as the senior student who demonstrated the greatest promise of becoming an outstanding general dentist.

During his General Practice Residency at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, Dr. Vantramp gained additional training in oral surgery, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic and restorative dentistry. In 1983, he was transferred by the military to McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma, Washington where he served until 1986.

It was on August 25, 1987, that Dr. Vantramp and his wife Charlie, a career hygienist, founded Dove Family Dentistry in Federal Way. Twenty years later, Dr. Vantramp opened a second office in his hometown of Puyallup, Washington where he now practices exclusively.

Dr. Jordan Zingerman (Dr. Z) is committed to the highest quality of patient care and shares the same core values which Dove Family Dentistry was built on. Dr. Zingerman grew up in Selah, Washington, where he attended Riverside Christian School. He served as high-school student body president and captain of both varsity baseball and soccer teams. Dr. Zingerman received his undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University, graduating with honors while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minor in Chemistry.

Dr. Zingerman received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. While at the College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Zingerman worked in a state of-the-art clinic gaining valuable experience and training from general dentists as well as specialists in each of the different areas of dentistry. Graduating with high honors, he was recognized by the dental faculty and presented with the Midwestern University Life-Long Learner Award for embracing technology and evidence-based practices in dentistry. The American Academy of Implant Dentistry awarded Dr. Zingerman for outstanding achievement, both academically and clinically, in implant dentistry. At graduation, he was selected as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for achieving an academic standing in the top ten percent of his class, exhibiting clinical excellence, and for his ongoing commitment to ethical patient care.

Dr. Zingerman has a heart for service and has been a part of multiple international dental teams who provided oral health care and education to under-served communities in Guatemala, Belize, and Costa Rica. In the Puyallup Valley, Dr. Zingerman continues to volunteer by providing dental treatment and care for students in our community, partnering with the Medical Teams International dental van. Each year, he has also joined together with Remote Area Medical teams to provide care for those in need in the greater Seattle area.

Dr. Zingerman and Dr. Vantramp are both very blessed to have formed an amazing dental partnership together at Dove Family Dentistry and are committed to continuingthelegacy ofproviding remarkable dental care for our patients both now and into the future.

Dr. Zingerman and his wife Kelsey, who grew up in Auburn, are both excited to have returned home together to the Northwest. They are enjoying the adventures of parenthood with their very energetic son, Hunter, and their darling daughter, Hazel. Dr. Zingerman and his wife volunteered much of their time as mentors for a foster care group home and as Young Life leaders while in Arizona. They currently serve together as the Committee Chairs for Young Life for the Puyallup School District and enjoy spending time together hiking, camping and exploring the great outdoors with family and friends.

Tori is the Clinical Coordinator at Dove Family Dentistry. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with her Bachelors in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in Graphic Design. Following her graduation in 2000, she took a summer job at Dove Family Dentistry and has been here ever since. In her 20 years at Dove Family Dentistry she has had the privilege to watch the practice grow and change! She is passionate about leadership and committed to loving people well! Outside of the office, she enjoys entertaining, organizing, spending time with her friends and family, as well as visiting local flower and farmers markets!

Teri has been a hygienist at Dove Family Dentistry since 2002. Receiving her Dental Hygiene degree at Fort Steilacoom Community College, Teri developed a passion for anesthetic and restorative dentistry. She also had the privilege of being taught and mentored by Dr. Vantramps wife, Charlie, during her time at FSCC. Being born and raised on Puyallups South Hill, Teri is thrilled to have returned after living in Federal Way where she and her husband Gary raised their children Megan and Connor. Teri considers her family, to be one of Gods greatest blessings. Much of her free time is spent with family especially since the arrival of her granddaughter Paisley.

Amanda graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2009 with her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. She joined our team in 2013 and thoroughly enjoys taking quality care of our patients. Out of the office, Amanda and her husband enjoy traveling, boating, camping, classic car shows and spending time with her family and friends.

Kristie attended Western Washington University where she received her Bachelors in Arts and Spanish. In 2016, she went on to receive her associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Pierce College, and has been with Dove Family Dentistry ever since. Kristie is a Puyallup native and currently lives in the Puyallup Valley with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. On the weekend, you might find her trying new restaurants, taking their dog for a walk, or working on her newest sewing project.

Megan started her career in dentistry as an assistant, graduating from Bates Technical college in 1987. She loved assisting so much that she decided to continue on to hygiene school. She starting her education at Pierce College and finished at Seattle Central, obtaining her Associates of applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Megan loves her job as a hygienist and is committed to constant learning and serving her community. Megan and her husband, Kurt, have been married for over 35 years. Together, they activiely serve in the local Young Life community! Outside of the office, Megan enjoys walking, being outdoors and watching sports. Megan has three grown children and eight grandkids. She feels that the quality time spent with her family has largely contributed to who she is today!

Heather graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College in 2005 as a Registered Dental Assistant. In 2015, she completed her Expanded Function Dental Assistant training from South Puget Sound Community College. Heather started at Dove Family Dentistry in the summer of 2019 and has been a wonderful addition to our team. She loves working with children, so the family atmosphere has been a great match for her passion and skills. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking and camping with her family near Whidby Island, WA, exploring Portland, OR with her daughter, and visiting family in California.

Katheen (rhymes with caffeine) joined the Dove Family Dentistry Team in 2014. Katheen graduated Clover Park Technical College in December of 2003. Katheen grew up in a military family and has lived all over the United States. Her interest in dentistry started through her grandfather, a U.S. Navy dental assistant who later worked in dental sales. At that time, Katheen had the opportunity to travel with him and experience dentistry. Currently, she is attending South Puget Sound Community College, where she plans to obtain her EFDA certification. Katheen has a number of hobbies including; gemology, naturopathic medicine, painting, karaoke and much more. Katheens vast knowledge of many subjects keep us enlightened and entertained daily.

Shalita may be one of the newest team members at Dove Family Dentistry, but she is not new to dentistry! Shalita started her career in 2000, when she graduated from Eton Technical College. Her passion for dentistry is strong; she stays up to date by attending various study clubs and continuing education courses. In her spare time, Shalita enjoys hiking, traveling, hot yoga, spending time with her family and friendsas well as with her Chihuahuas, Mia & Zeus.

Brenda is our Financial Coordinator and has a natural eye for detail. Her precision, paired with her knowledge of dentistry, have been a vital part of our Administrative Team. She began her career in dentistry as an assistant in 1982, and then later moved to administration. Brenda considers herself privileged to have raised two children, now grown and off to college. In her spare time, she and her husband Marc love to travel together. Leavenworth is one of their favorite places to visit, where they enjoy hiking and kayaking. Brenda also loves to watch movies and spend time with her family and friends.

Debbie is our Treatment Coordinator and is an advocate for meeting your financial needs. She is familiar with intricate insurance issues, and specializes in treatment planning. Debbie started in dentistry in 1987, bringing with her with many years of experience. Debbie has a Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Science from the University of Washington. Debbie and her husband have two grown children and have been blessed with five grandchildren. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, reading and working on her many stitchery and sewing projects.

Sue is our Scheduling Coordinator at Dove Family Dentistry. With over fifteen years of experience in the dental field, she has worked in all aspects of administration, from insurance and billing to scheduling and treatment coordination. Prior to dentistry, Sue worked as a medical assistant and also obtained her master aesthetician license from the Euro Institute of Skincare. She enjoys gardening, riding motorcycles, DIY art projects and Native American Culture. Sue will be one of the many smiling faces to greet you as you enter our doors at Dove Family Dentistry.
