Dr. Thompson is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. When she is not at the office, she likes traveling, biking, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Thompson enjoys attending numerous continuing education courses to stay on the forefront of new technology and techniques to provide high quality treatment with minimal discomfort in a low-stress environment. Her vision is to provide excellent dental care and comprehensive oral health education to the people of Mount Vernon and the surrounding communities. Dr. Thompson is a member of American Dental Association and New York State Dental Association.
Dr. Cecille Gordon has been an associate dentist at Dove Dental Associates for more than 20 years. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and completed a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center. In her free time, Dr. Gordon enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, photography, cooking and working out. She also participates in service projects with her church. It is her dream to do mission work overseas. Dr. Gordon believes that prevention is the key to success in dental care and is committed to converting fearful patients into confident ones.

As a team, we are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our staff consists of team members with specialized training and multiple certifications, and each one of our team members has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

I was scared of dentist until my visit to DDA The attention and level of comfort I felt upon entering the office was overwhelming. Service is A1 and I would recommend DDA to anyone in search of a dentist

I would like to say thank you to the staff and dentist. They were so helpful and professional with excellent bedside manners. I was worried my son had an infection in his tooth. So, I called to make an appointment and they took me in the same day. I am so grateful for their help. They helped put my worries at ease. Thankfully it was just an erupting tooth and not an abscess. I will start taking my family here for their dental cleaning. Thank you again.

Dr. Thompson is the very best! It's amazing to find such a professional, caring ,compassionate woman of color serving the Mount Vernon community. Although you may not be there under the best of circumstances she makes you feel relaxed and at ease. And I must say pain-free. Yes, She has the best hands in the biz! I feel no pain when she takes care of me. The front desk staff are always welcoming, pleasant and willing to assist you. They truly love what they do and it shows. I highly recommend this practice. Myself and husband have used Dove Dental, first impression, staff were friendly and very professional, Dr Gordon and her assistant carried out their duties in a gentle, warm and professional manner. Going the dentist was never good for me. But my visit to Dove Dental Associate on 7/21 was the best Dental visit I have had so far. From the first encounter with the receptionist , she is very pleasant and paitent and the dentist know what she is doing and explain everything in term that I can under. Visit Dove Dental Associates u won't regret it.
