Douglas Wall approaches his patients, students, staff, and family in a kind and caring manner and seeks the best for all. Dr. Wall was born and raised in Long Beach, California, where he attended Millikan High School and then California State University at Long Beach to attain a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. His dental school training was completed at Loyola University Chicago College of Dental Surgery. After completion of dental school he completed a one year post-graduate General Practice Residency at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital.
Dr. Wall has been practicing dentistry for over 38 years, and has spent many years in continuing education courses with special interests in Orofacial Pain, Cosmetic Dentistry, Implantology, Dental Sleep Medicine, and Hospital Dentistry. He is Board Certified in Orofacial Pain and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Wallis on part-time faculty at UCLA as a lecturer and assists in the Orofacial Pain Residency. At USC, he is anAssociate Professor involved with the Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine Residency. Dr. Wallis on staff at Long Beach Memorial Hospitalwhere he treats patients with special needs.
Dr. Wall continues to be active in organized dentistry, having served as President of the Harbor Dental Society and serving on Judicial Council for the California Dental Association. He served on the board of the Harbor Dental Society as the Ethics Chairman and is the former President of Orange County Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Wall is also a member of the American Dental Association, theInternational Team of Implantology, Reality Cosmetics, Special Care Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Dental Sleep Medicine,International Headache Society, the Headache Cooperative of the Pacific, the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, the American Headache Association, and the American Pain Society.

Dr wall is a superb dentist. His office is spotless and he and staff are caring and professional. I would go to no one else. There's nobody better. He's treated and cared for me and my family for decades and we've only had great experiences. He keeps our mouths teeth and oral health in top shape

I've been a cash patient of Dr Wall for probably 15 to 20 years now. Love his gentle helping manner. I once had a locked jaw due to a TMJ issue on a Saturday when the office was closed but he took time to see me anyway. Bet you don't remember that Dr Wall! I'll always remember because I was miserable and desperate. Dr Wall has also done a couple of crowns and referrals to other excellent doctors for me. Dr Wall has always demonstrated excellence! I've been getting my pearly whites cleaned by that pro Cindy for ages. Love her! I appreciate the seriously upped COVID precautions they have taken. Please don't hesitate to book an appointment. These folks are the quiet under appreciated rock stars of our world.

Best Dentist in the world PERIOD. I came here years ago when I had a bunch of dental issues and he fixed me up like new. His staff are always super polite and non judgemental and you can tell that they love their work. DR. Wall is amazing though. One of the best things besides his advanced Ninja dental skills would be his honesty, ive had crooked dentist before and Dr Wall is absolutely one of the honest good dentists that won't upsale you for more money or lie to you. He's more than a dentist he's one of those dentist that is so good my parents consider him a friend of the family and my mother can't say enough good stuff about him Either. If you want the best service with the most skill then go see Dr Wall. The man is A living legend.

DISCLOSURE: I am Dr. Wall's son. I can say with certainty my Dad is one the most ethical and experienced dentist in Southern California. His COVID-19 response is of the highest standards in dentistry to keep patients safe during this time. I have seen and witnessed him go the extra mile to redesign his office and implement technology that adheres to the science and management of infectious disease prevention. I can also speak about his impressive pedigree: He was President of the Harbor Dental Society, has spent countless hours volunteer-teaching residents at USC/UCLA (over 30yrs getting up at 5 am on Friday to drive to volunteer-teach at the school clinic "for fun"). He's involved with study clubs and continued education courses... It's been almost 40yrs now of experience acquired in general dentistry, hospital dentistry, and treating patients with special needs. I'm probably forgetting something that he hasn't told me about...it is in his nature to be a quiet-humble professional, and that is exactly why I want to write this recommendation. He loves the science/art of dentistry because he is genuinely in a position to help people who need care. I want patients to know he is AWESOME. The internet does not do him justice--so you would not know about him unless you were referred by another patient/doctor. Most importantly, I can say this: when you go into his office you can depend on him and his staff to serve you/give advice/treat you as if you were his own family. If he cannot treat the situation--he knows his limitations--and will refer you to the best specialist. His staff is lovely and has been there with him for many years.
