Hello! My name is Christine, and I believe everyone should have access to a healthy, beautiful smile. I graduated with a Bachelors in Public Health, and I have goals of taking a step further in the dental field by becoming a dental hygienist. My role here will give me many opportunities for growth in my future endeavors. I am passionate about helping others, and it gives me a sense of fulfillment when our patients are happy with their treatment.
On a more personal note, I enjoy relaxing with family and friends, going on sightseeing adventures, making music playlists, jamming to songs, binging movies and shows online, getting crafty, creating art using different mediums (sketching, watercoloring, painting), and learning songs on the piano and ukulele.

We strive to create a positive experiences for our patients and their families. We serve the Westminster and surrounding adjacent areas and treat patients ages 8-39.
We take pride in selecting only the best staff to provide care to our patients. Many of our staff have been with our office for over 10 years, which is a testament to the stability and consistency we strive for in our practice. There are a number of reasons to get braces including obvious esthetic reasons for crooked, overlapping, and overcrowded teeth. Braces can also help with 'bad bites' also known as malocclusion when the jaws do not align well or are different sizes. Straighter teeth can allow for better hygiene and care, which can potentially prevent expensive dental and gum treatment down the road.
Metal braces consist of stainless steal brackets adhered to your teeth with an adhesive and connected by a wire. The braces are activated periodically with light pressure to gently straighten your teeth. Metal braces are still the most common type of braces today.
Like metal braces, clear braces are still adhered to your teeth and still typically require a metal wire. Clear braces are typically made of ceramic and are stain resistance. And their primary benefit is esthetics -- being less visible.
Invisalign treatment consists of clear sets of clear removable aligners custom fitted to your teeth. You should wear them 20-22 hours a day and change your set of trays at appropriate intervals as your teeth straighten.
Initial records are done to get an understanding of the malocclusion. This typically consists of x-rays, photographs, and study models of the teeth. We then use these records to finalize the treatment plan.
Depending on your treatment needs, you may be starting your treatment with an appliance like an expander, headgear, facemask or even recommended to remove teeth before braces. Patients without these needs will get braces bonded on their teeth, wires placed, and instructions on braces care and oral hygiene.

Beside occasional threats of charging $50 if late for appointment and without any consideration of clients who live far from the office who have to commute on unpredictable traffic conditions of local freeways, eveything else is great.... Clients come first!!! Thank you.

Spent about 4 years with braces with this office always a great experience. Great treatment and great people, all of their staff are very friendly and helpful in specific Hillary helped on the day my braces came off and made the long process a lot easier.

Dr. Douglas and his team (special thanks to Hillary, Olivia, and Tammy) are very professional and friendly at the office. They take good care of the patients and I believe because he has younger assistants, they are able to connect and converse with his patients that are mostly in their teens. They also did an amazing job in staying safe during the pandemic and still continue those practices now. I am very satisfied with how my teeth look and would recommend them to any of my friends and families that are looking to fix up their smiles!

Let them change your SMILE and let your SMILE change the world! I would like to take a moment to thank Dr Douglas, Sarah, Josue and Raven for changing my smile. At first, my teeth was not in a good shape. They were a lot of spaces between them. I went to several places to check and all they wanted that was your money first. Here was extremely different. Four years ago, Sarah was the one who took care of me and gave me a lot of information. She played her role in very decent way to make me believe that was a right place. She helped me actively whenever I needed help because I lived 1.5 hours away. She was also very caring during my four year over here. The next one is gonna be Josue. I did not get him until my forth appointment. He was very gentle and fast. I have never got any problems with him. I lived far away from this location and he made me never go back to fix or adjusted any thing. I have to shout out Josue because he is very knowledgable person and he knows what he is gonna do. Josue is the one who earns my appreciation the most. Thank you Josue and I highly recommend him to anyone that want gently quality work. I just knew Raven for the last time to have my retainer but she was so amazing. She was so friendly and carefully provided me the information for how to take care of my teeth as post braces. Finally, Dr Douglas was the last and also an important role to change my smile. If you are looking for the specialist for your smile and I have to say right away that he is the one and the only one who will satisfy you. Honestly, I am a very picky person because I am a medical student too and I also work as an artist so I all know about something related to beauty. Dr Douglas will not only change your smile but also do everything to make your smile beautifully too. After taking my braces, I kept yelling to myself in front of the mirrow "wow, what the hell, OMG". I am so so so excited now. Thanks everyone and I promise that I will send my friend to you guys.

This place gives amazing service and leave your teeth as perfect as you want them. I have had their braces and treatments for 6 years and my teeth are very aligned and left to as perfect as I could ever imagine. I usually never leave reviews because there are no point to it if people are already giving a complaint or giving positive reviews about every details of the place; however, I feel like this is the time I make a review, too. I would also give more than 5 stars, but I guess that's not possible ;( I just want to say... for the past 4.5 years of my braces journey, everyone treated me like I was apart of the clinic's family. From Sarah (my favourite receptionist) always being there for my mum and I when finding the days and being a 'translator,' and also telling an orthodontist assistant, who in fact made me bled before (yea, I'm talking you to Sophia... thank god you left 3 years ago), to Paul (who was my favourite orthodontist assistant before Jouse) who drove my brother (who finished braces first 2 years ahead) and I to a specific place when his shift was done and that our parents were busy so they couldn't pick us up. He was also really good with untying rubber bands and wires because some of the assistants that helped me before when Jouse and Paul wasn't available, they were quite slow... but anyways, Paul left me because he decided orthodontic wasn't his thing. ;( For Jouse, he was the only person I ever let touched my mouth (unless he's off that day) ever since Paul left because I really liked how he was fast like Paul (but not as fast ) and gentle. He also made sure to never have wires poking me because everyone in the clinic knows I live an hour and a half (3 hours with traffic). Jouse's height also is really bad for my ego...

Dr. Douglas is the BEST. I wish I had known him sooner. I was not happy with my teeth before but I thought it was too late for me to do something about it. Until I met Dr. Douglas. He was very details in explaining to me the treatment process and made me feel very comfortable about the treatment plan. I am 2/3 of the way to complete my treatment plan. I am so excited with how my teeth are changing. I can't wait until Dr. Douglas tells me that I am done with my treatment plan. I want to also shoutout to Sarah, Hieu, Paul and Josue. They are very professional and always go out of their ways to accommodate my schedule and make sure I am comfortable during the treatments. Sarah always take good care of me. Thank you Sarah. Sauntering past the large communal parking lot plaza, under the hot July sun one fine summer evening, I walked past the newly opened Monster Boba Shop. "Hmm, I tell myself, this used to be a clothing store years past." As I opened the idyllic glass doors, immediately I was greeted by the very nice receptionists working behind the counter. Bilingual as they are, they greeted me warmly by my name. One of the notable office assistant there, Sarah Nguyen, definitely made an impression on me with her outstanding courtesy and formality (as well as being hilarious at times), always making sure I feel comfortable. Within minutes, I was taken to the back of the inner sanctum where they had contemporary architecture in terms of layout and cool chairs! Moments later I was shown to my procedure chair, a chair I've kind of bonded over the years past, when I used to go to my monthly orthodontics appointment for tightening of braces. Sitting comfortable in my chair, I've noticed the stacks of magazines in a protective covers in the corner for my viewing pleasure, reminiscent of my earlier years when this place first opened. As a patient, it is always nice to have familiarity with a place to lower anxiety. Additionally, I noticed how clean everything was, with HEPA air filters in every corner -- such an aseptic environment that even a molecular biologist would appreciate! Alas, Dr. Douglas Nguyen politely greeted me with a warm smile and even warmer handshake. His soft-tone immediately keeps me at ease, as he did when I first entered this office as one of his first patients... some 15 years ago! Hard to imagine but he LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME. Even YOUNGER, in fact. His ASMR-like tone of voice will put even the most anxious patient at ease. Always taking an interest in whatever I'm currently doing, he makes me feel like the most important person in the world. As you talk to him, with quick adeptness and even better dexterity, he manipulates my retainers while holding a conversation. It doesn't take a professional to see that this healthcare provider comes across with qualities that are hallmarks of a professional such as, humility, courtesy, competency in the profession, and most importantly, compassion with his patient. It has always been a pleasure and joy to see him for my retainer check-up as it has been 13 years since my braces were taken off. I often get complimented on my teeth by my peers and teachers alike, such as "Alvin, has anybody ever told you, you have really great teeth" or "The first thing that struck me was your smile." Therefore, I have always been grateful to Dr. Douglas for changing my underbite to a great smile over the course of 3 years. :D

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Douglas and this team. I have been patient here for a total of 7 years and have always walked away extremely satisfied with Dr. Douglas' work. I was a patient here during the height of the Covid pandemic and always felt safe while in this office. His front desk team is exceptional. Sarah has incredible memory, is quick on her feet, and always brings a smile to face whenever I speak to her. I often get a lot compliments on my smile and I don't hesitate to shoutout Dr. Douglas and urge friends and family to see him.

I was forced to do this but what I'm am about to say is true. I was very nervous to start but it wasn't so bad. I enjoy having braces now. When I walk in Abby is always there to greet me. My favorite assistants are Josue and Esther. I would highly recommend this office.

As a second timer getting braces at the same place, I couldn't be any more happier to jump right back into the hands of Dr. Douglas Nguyen and his wonderful staff. Originally, I lost my retainers after having a perfect smile from this place which I foolishly waited weeks to come and pick up another set of. This short time span drastically shifted my teeth, but thankfully, the receptionist to the line of doctors and just everyone there exudes vibes of professionalism and are great to be around so I got my second experience of having braces/retainers to be a breeze. I normally don't find myself as an extroverted talker, but the comfortability these guys provide is unparalleled compared to other orthodontic offices. I truly felt connected in a personal level and was very pleased with the care this place provides and they make sure you leave happy alongside packing you home in due time with a perfect, straight and clean smile. P.S. For anyone considering braces, don't hesitate to come to this office as it even has a TV lounging area located on the inside for patients with newly relevant movies they stream so as not to bore the waiting time, if rarely any, they possess. Once again, thank you to all the people in this office for a 5/5 star experience from a lifelong customer who will probably be back for my third time seeing as how my clumsiness gets the better of me always misplacing my retainers and what not. :)
