Dr. Ng has been providing families along the Central Coast with quality dental caresince 2008. A Southern California native, he was a Regents Scholar at the University ofCalifornia, Riverside where he graduated with honors. He then attended Loma LindaUniversity School of Dentistry where he received his DDS and has since dedicated hisprofessional career to providing his patients with the best that dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Ng is a member of many professional organizations, including: the American DentalAssociation, California Dental Association, Central Coast Dental Society as well asmany local organizations. He has a passion for dental education as he is the ContinuingEducation Director for the Central Coast Dental Society, is a member of the SLO Chapterof the Spear Study Club.
Our practice supports many local schools including: Templeton High School, Morro BayHigh School, Los Osos Middle School, Laguna Middle School, CJ Smith Elementary,SLO Christian Schools, and Valley View Adventist Academy, to name a few.Additionally, Dr. Ng is very active with the Southern California branch of Easter Seals,and often travels overseas to provide dental care to underserved areas. Hes taken tripsto the Philippines, Chad, Belize, Honduras, Peru, and El Salvador. His hobbies includeplaying volleyball, hiking, finding nice, twisty roads to carve, or nice bumpy ones totraverse.

Dr. Ng and his staff are exceptional! I'm writing this review after having been with this office for years and seeing my oral health vastly improve during that time, thanks to their attention to detail and consistent, careful work. I've since moved out of state and will miss it very much. I have been browsing dentists in my new area (which can be daunting) and I just had to come back and give them props because this truly is a caring and profesional practice. Thank you Dr. Ng and staff!

This place is fantastic. Dr.Ng and the staff are great. I know cleaning appointments have had to be pushed back because their hygenist was in an accident, but it looks like they are getting caught up with their hygiene schedule becuase they were able to get me in ASAP.

My appointment was canceled twice with NO notice. When I tried to reschedule they told me I had to wait 6 months for my biannual cleaning -making it more than a year for my 6 month cleaning. appointment. I reminded them that THEY canceled my appointment, not the other way around, but they would not budge on the date. It was going to be over a year to get my BI annual cleaning. I am not at all impressed with the new dentists that have taken over since the retirement of the previous dentists. They also kept telling me I needed to update my fillings. I felt like it was a money making thing more than a necessity.

This dental office is AMAZING! Office staff is professional, personal, and welcoming (waiting room has a massage chair!). Hygienists are thorough and gentle, and super pleasant to just hang out with :) Dr. Ng and Dr. Yoon are THE BEST!! They are well versed in the latest technologies and treatments, and are conservative in their recommendations and treatment plans. My kids even love going here! This office has treated us immediately with tooth injuries, and it's easy and convenient to get appointments. Dr. Yoon is new to the office and has already made it even BETTER! I won't go anywhere else.

I desire to express my big gratitude to dr. Liz Yoon for yesterday's work on one of my molars, that was cracked open for a while and was causing me huge pain for a while. The whole intervention needed 4 deep anesthesias, taking off a part of my gum with a laser procedure, drilling deep to the root canal under the normal gum level and closing it up with white composite filling. The best thing is that I haven't felt any pain, not even when the long needle anesthesia injections were given! It has been 24 hours since the procedure and I do not feel any pain and I do not need to take any painkillers! How amazing is that?!? The whole condition and procedure was explained to me in advance and I was treated with highest level of care, kindness and professionalism I have ever experienced before. All of the staff was very kind, the nurse, the doctor and even the front desk lady and they made everything workout. THANK YOU! I highly recommend this doctor to kids and to all of those of any age who have any resistance visiting dentists in general. You will feel acknowledged, treated with respect and kindness and with high level of professionalism. Also I would like to add that as an international student (and a foreign visitor before that status) I was rudely dismissed from many front desk administrators in 6 other SLO dentistry offices, simply because they did not want to deal with my European insurance, that by the way, had great coverage for dental portion of it. THIS OFFICE IS THE FIRST OFFICE that is open to research and willing to meet my needs through my insurance plan. For sure I return!

Two fillings and crown fell off within two years of procedure. I don't know if its the materials used in this office, or the trainees who assist during the procedures, but I've had dental work off and on for the last 35 years and have never lost a filling until I came to this practice.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Ng since he moved to the area. I have been disappointed by so many dentist on the Central Coast, I lost count. It was either a nice Dr and horrible staff or the other way around. I NEVER thought I would find an office with a great dentist and friendly staff, but I have. My wife Irene and I have been going to Dr Ng for dental care since we moved to the area a year and a half ago. Irene did extensive Internet research before deciding on Dr Ng since she's had a lot of dental work including crowns, fillings, and implants. She also suffers from TMJ problems. Dr Ng and his team provide excellent services. Everyone including the front desk/appointments, dental hygienists and dental assistants demonstrate professionalism and care for the patient. Dr Ng offers his patients excellent "chair-side" care, providing information on procedures as well as what the patient needs to know to make knowledgeable decisions. We went to Dr Ng because of the expertise and knowledge and have stayed because of the concern and caring for the patient.

I was impressed how though they were! They took all kinds of pictures with some new equipment that I haven't seen at other dentists that I have been to and they did a though ouch job cleaning my teeth. They were also very nice, prompt and easy to make an appointment with.

Dr. Ng is a great dentist, best in this county from my experiences. He is confident, informative, gentle, and him and his team are very friendly. His office is very clean all their equipment looks and works like new.
