Dr. Hope has been in practice since 1982 after Graduating from theUniversity of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. During Dental School he earned the Student Clinician award for research in dentistry and representedUCONNat the national Dental Convention. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Senior Student award and Operative Dentistry Award.Dr. Hope believes education is an ongoing process and should continue through life. He worked to attain his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. More recently, after over 1000 hours of clinical practice, he was awarded the prestigious Masters in Academy of General Dentistry. He also has studied atThe Dawson Institutefor Advanced Study. He has completed several cosmetic dentistry courses with Dr. Frank Spear. He is currently an associate clinical professor at the UCONN School of Dental Medicine.He is a member of theAmerican Dental Society,Academy of General Dentistry,Connecticut Dental Society,Hartford Dental Societyand SCADA. He is certified in CEREC.
HygieneWe pride ourselves on the hygiene department. Our hygienists are the most caring, gentle and thorough. They are licensed by the State of CT and take advanced continuing education yearly. This advanced education along with many years of experience afford a high level of diagnostic skills and aids in the detection of dental needs.
Dental AssistantsDental Assistants are an important part of our dental team. Our board certified assistants take every step to insure your comfort and safety. Their dedication to continued education keep them apprised of any new or chair-side procedures in the area of clinical dentistry and sterilization.Administrative StaffOur front office staff will guide you to a seamless visit in our office with their expertise experience and caring attitude. They will try to accommodate your visits and all the financial and insurance concerns you might need, to make your dental needs attainable. We will submit all your insurance forms for you and if necessary, will help you with our credit program. We offer care credit, which offers free interest for up to 12 months.

I'm a new patient of Dr Hope and his staff I have never been one to be willing to go to the dentist, I have had multiple visits for filling . Dr Hope and his staff are amazing! Comfortable and zero pain. That goes for my cleanings too. Thank you for your great work . Nickolas Miller

Dr Hope and his staff are nothing short of amazing. The office is spotless and they are practicing social distancing. Our family has gone to Dr. Hope for many years and we have been very happy with his work, his kindness and patience. I was scared to death of dentists but Dr. Hope worked with me to get over that. There is not a better dentist around. The hygienists are great, Melissa is my go to and is gentle and thorough, and fun. Going to the dentist is no longer something to dread. Can't say enough about Dr. Hope and his staff.

I am 50 years old and I have been seeing Dr. Hope since I was a teenager. I drive an hour to get my cleaning twice a year because he is absolutely the best dentist around. He staff is also amazing.

I felt very safe at my dentist appointment today. I was the only patient in the waiting room and was brought to my own room after a very short wait. Anna, as always, did a terrific job cleaning my teeth. And Dr. Hope is an excellent dentist with a great chair-side manner. Everyone had masks and face shields, and hand sanitizer was readily available.
