Dr. Genninger leads a state of the art dental practice conveniently located in Tampas Carrolwood neighborhood. Dr. Genninger, or as his patients and staff call him Dr. G, is a 1983 graduate of Ohio State University where he graduated Suma Cum Laude. Dr. G is a life member with ADA, FDA, AGD, OKU (Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honor Society), West Coast Florida dental Study club and numerous others.
Dr. G completed two year advanced training in comprehensive dentistry with University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1986. Since then he has completed thousands of hours of implant, cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, orthodontic, surgical, TMJ, digital radiography and full mouth reconstruction continuing education courses in his pursuit of excellence.
Dr. Genninger and his staff are committed to staying current with the latest in technology in order to provide the greatest dental health benefits to all their patients. Dr. G is passionate about all aspects of dentistry especially building and nurturing long lasting relationships with their patients. Dr. G and his staff routinely partner in events that provide free dental care to the community.
Dr. Genninger resides in Tampa with his wife Donna. Their daughter Jessica is an ER physician and their son Jasen is a recent dental graduate practicing in Tampa. Dr. G is an avid sportsman who enjoys swimming, tennis, golf, paddleboard, kayaking, hockey and skiing. He and his family are devoted Tampa Bay Lightning fans. Dr. G also enjoys traveling, sailing and exploring throughout different parts of the world.

His passion for dentistry flows from the heart and loves to help others look and feel their best. Dr. G wants to make a difference in peoples lives. Jodie is a dental assistant. I have been in dentistry since 1992 and with Dr. Genninger since 2002. I enjoy spending time with my family; traveling, reading and watching my son learn how to do life. My ultimate happiness is being able to change someones life through a smile.
Sandy is a dental assistant. I started in dentistry in 1978 and have been with Dr. G since he purchased the practice in 1988. She enjoys cooking, crafting, and refinishing furniture. Her favorite thing to do is help craft a beautiful new smile.
Launa is a dental assistant. I have been in dentistry since 2012 and with Dr. G since 2015. I enjoy meeting new people and learning all about our patients. I love to travel and like visiting both the beach and the mountains. I also love cooking, crafting, concerts and sporting events. My family and friends mean very much to me.
Jacki is a registered dental hygienist. She started in dentistry in 1978 and has been with Dr. G since 2006. I have many interests, including, physical fitness, a very high priority in my life, my cats, antique cars, motorcycles-I ride a sport bike, going to museums, listening to music, attending concerts, plays and movies and traveling.
Katherine is the office manager. I began my career in dentistry in 1989 in Manchester, VT and moved to Florida in 1999. I have been with Dr. G since 2003. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at our many amusement parks. I love to travel and I am always up for an adventure.

I had implants by Dr. G. The healing from the extractions, bone grafts top and bottom stud surgery took almost a year. All this time I received excellent care. Any problems or questions were quickly addressed. Friendly and helpful office group. So far well satisfied and able to eat anything put in front of me. Highly recommend Dr. G, Jody, Sandy and other dedicated members of his office. I always enjoyed spending time talking with Jody and Sandy about anything. I also liked that the entire procedure and office visits were never rushed.

Best dentist I have ever been to, thanks. Gave me a good and fair assessment of my teeth. First office that did not try to tell me I needed to have my gums deep cleaned. They all treat me like family, not sure if that's good or bad lol

I looove this place. They have been nothing but kind, informative, caring and patient with me. They just gave me implants to help my bottom denture stay better and I couldn't be happier, They helped me with my self confidence . I have had a long and abiding experience with Dr Genninger over the past 38 years. His kindness and professionalism leave nothing to be desired. I was fortunate to help care for his wife in her trials and he has taken care of my entire family and numerous friends. He has amazing skills in his profession and has surrounded himself with a remarkable, talented and efficient team. He is quick to get your problems solved and skilled to make those efforts last over decades of time. His 5 STARS are well deserved and I would rank him number one in his profession in the Tampa Bay Region

I only have positive things to say about my experiences here. All staff are consistently thorough, knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. I used to dread going to the dentist, but ever since I switched to Dr. Genninger, I actually look forward to my appointments. Very pleasant experience every time.

Dr.G and his staff always make my visits a pleasant experience. I used to avoid the dentist as much as possible but after working with Dr.G and his lovely staff I am more than happy to schedule my next appointments. On top of their kindness this team always delivers top tier dental work in a gentle way. I've never had a bad experience in my 3+ years of visiting.

It has been about three and half years since I have moved to Florida from NY, and I am glad I finally found my go-to dental practice, after my friend's recommendation. After my first visit, I know I am getting the best of the best dental care because Dr. G and staff are very knowledgeable and thorough (e.g., walk me through procedures they would be doing). They are also the kindest gentle and make you feel so at ease (e.g., constantly check in with me during the procedure to make sure I was okay and comfortable and follow-ups). I cannot thank Dr. G and his staff enough for helping me when I needed it most. The team is professional and personable, and the care I have had has been top notch!! I highly recommend Dr. G for routine procedures, diagnoses, and treatment!!

Great experience. They took me in fast. Very calm environment, the decor made you feel at home! He explains everything very clearly and you don't feel like just number. Dr. Genninger and his staff were amazing and super friendly. I would highly recommend. Update- Went back for my 2nd visit 4 months later and I'm more impressed than ever! They had to remove and fix two old fillings that another dentist did because I was having horrible sensitivity. They did an outstanding job and took their time. The new composite's are working so far! I can drink cold fluids again. This goes to show you not every dentist is the same. Look for the BEST one for your smile, and that is this dentist!

Hmm. Where do I start? For a person with previous dental trauma where multiple teeth were removed that could have been saved, crowns fell off days after being put on and all of the work done by them had/have to be repaired by someone else... I have FULL confidence in Dr. Genninger and his staff's ability to give me the smile I've always wanted. From the moment I walked into the office, the nautical atmosphere felt like I was preparing to take sail. Mary was kind and courteous as she assisted with paperwork. The waterfront view in the room looked like an everchanging portrait my eyes witnessed transpose. My hygienist Jacki kindly educated me on how to care for my teeth and her natural nurturing energy kept me relaxed throughout the cleaning. The equipment used was next level! So much so, I was able to enjoy its gentle massage of my gums as Jacki reassured me with her words (and service) that my previous experiences would not happen in their care. And Dr. Genninger?? Oh... if his staff are all the ingredients to make the cake, he's the icing in between the layers, on top and all around! When he came into the room, the atmosphere in the building made total sense. His presence is one that is easy to be drawn to as his spirit is light and warm. Any thoughts of previous trauma reoccurring dissipated the moment I felt his smile. Yes, felt it. Words can't make it make sense but I will try. Have you ever seen someone smile and saw their essence? Like, who they are as a person appears on their face for a brief moment in time and you got to see it. Yea... that happened and all I can say is... whatever he tells me to do at our consultation this Tuesday is totally happening because I fully trust Dr. G's experience, expertise and his energy. It's the perfect fit for me. <3
