Dr. Binh Daos love for dentistry can be made quite simple:He just loves helping patients with whatever dental problem they are having, big or small. It can be as simple as smoothing a small chip in a patients tooth that is driving their tongue crazy, or working with our orthodontist, Dr. Lyons, to correct a smile.
Since he grew up in Roseville, many of Dr. Daos high-school friends, their parents, and siblings have come to the office. He enjoys talking with them and seeing how well they are doing, or how quickly their kids are growing.
A native of the Sacramento area, Dr. Dao graduated from Woodcreek High School in Rosevillebefore earning his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. To complete his dental training, Dr. Dao attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Dao continually travels to learn with some of the world's best dentists. He is a proud graduate of the Kois Center.The Kois Center teaches top dentists from around the world the latest in dental research and science. He participates in live-patient aesthetic and restorative programs that help him to perfect a patient's smile using minimally invasive porcelain veneers.
Dr. Dao and his wife, Dr. Lyons, met in dental school and were married in 2011. They have threedaughters.He is proud that his oldest daughter was flosstrained before being potty trained. Dr. Dao spends a lot of time running and playing volleyball, both activities hes enjoyedsince middle school.
He tries to spend as much time as possible with his family and friends when hes not in the office. Whether that involves traveling to a faraway country, enjoying a meal at a local restaurant, or just hanging out in the backyard, nothing brings him more happiness than being around those he loves.
Every year, Dr. Dao gives back to the community by volunteering his dental services to the less fortunate. Sometimes its as simple and close as Give Kids a Smile with the Sacramento Dental Society, or Remote Area Medical located at Cal Expo, which offers free dental care toresidents of the Sacramento area. In other years, Dr. Dao has traveled to foreign countries, including Fiji, the Philippines, Peru, and Honduras, to provide dental treatment in remote areas to those who enjoy little or no access to dental care.
Dr. Alexis Lyons, also known as Dr. Lexie,feels truly fortunate to have a career in which she is fulfilled by improving the health and happiness of others. Dr. Lexie earned her bachelors degree in biology from Saint Marys College of California.She was an honor student and a member of the womens rowing team.Dr. Lexie studied abroad at Sydney University, where she combined her love of biology with the great surfing in Australia! Thenshe attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni Dental School in San Francisco.She graduated with honors and began her orthodontic residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
During her residency, Dr. Lexiewas a member of the craniofacial team at Childrens National Medical Center, where she treated patients with cleft lips, cleft palates, and craniofacial abnormalities.Dr. Lexie had the privilege to work with a team of talented doctors, surgeons, and leading experts to treat patients successfully witha combination of orthodontics and orthognathic (jaw) surgery.
Dr.Lexie is a board certified orthodontist. In order to become board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), an individual orthodontist is thoroughly tested by a highly respected panelof examiners to demonstrate their orthodontic knowledge, critical skills and judgement. The ABO certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
Dr. Lexie has a passion to learn.She frequently attends continuing education classes all over the country.She continually wants to bring back the latest techniques and technology to help her patients achieve the best smile possible.
Dr. Lexie and Dr. Dao were married in 2011 and live in Roseville. They have threedaughters that can often be seen visiting the office. When Dr. Lexie is not working, she can be found visiting with friends and family, working out, trying new restaurants, or traveling the world and learning about new places and cultures.
Dr. Lexie continually gives back to the community. She has both organized and participated in multiple volunteer dental trips and activities in both the local community and the world. She adopts children yearly from the Sacramento Dental Societys Smile for Kids Program, to provide the neediest children in our community a chance to improve their smile through orthodontics.
Dr. Bradley Thompson was born and raised in Playa Del Rey, CA. He left Southern California for his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. During this time he went on a dental mission trip to the Galapagos Islands and discovered he wanted to become a dentist. He soon returned to study dentistry at the University of Southern California and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree there.
Dr Thompson resides here in Roseville with his wifeSarah and their three children. In his spare time Dr. Thompson enjoys traveling, playing soccer, watching sports, mountain bikingand spending time with his family. He aims to provide the highest quality care to all of his patients.
