Dr. Binh Daos love for dentistry can be made quite simple:He just loves helping patients with whatever dental problem they are having, big or small. It can be as simple as smoothing a small chip in a patients tooth that is driving their tongue crazy, or working with our orthodontist, Dr. Lyons, to correct a smile.
Since he grew up in Roseville, many of Dr. Daos high-school friends, their parents, and siblings have come to the office. He enjoys talking with them and seeing how well they are doing, or how quickly their kids are growing.
A native of the Sacramento area, Dr. Dao graduated from Woodcreek High School in Rosevillebefore earning his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. To complete his dental training, Dr. Dao attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Dao continually travels to learn with some of the world's best dentists. He is a proud graduate of the Kois Center.The Kois Center teaches top dentists from around the world the latest in dental research and science. He participates in live-patient aesthetic and restorative programs that help him to perfect a patient's smile using minimally invasive porcelain veneers.
Dr. Dao and his wife, Dr. Lyons, met in dental school and were married in 2011. They have threedaughters.He is proud that his oldest daughter was flosstrained before being potty trained. Dr. Dao spends a lot of time running and playing volleyball, both activities hes enjoyedsince middle school.
He tries to spend as much time as possible with his family and friends when hes not in the office. Whether that involves traveling to a faraway country, enjoying a meal at a local restaurant, or just hanging out in the backyard, nothing brings him more happiness than being around those he loves.
Every year, Dr. Dao gives back to the community by volunteering his dental services to the less fortunate. Sometimes its as simple and close as Give Kids a Smile with the Sacramento Dental Society, or Remote Area Medical located at Cal Expo, which offers free dental care toresidents of the Sacramento area. In other years, Dr. Dao has traveled to foreign countries, including Fiji, the Philippines, Peru, and Honduras, to provide dental treatment in remote areas to those who enjoy little or no access to dental care.
Dr. Alexis Lyons, also known as Dr. Lexie,feels truly fortunate to have a career in which she is fulfilled by improving the health and happiness of others. A beautiful smile and straight teeth will often improve ones looks and self-esteem, and will help you maintain good oral health so you can enjoy your smile for a lifetime! Your new smile is just the beginning.
Dr. Lexie loves to help patients achieve the smile they dream of in a way that fits into each individuals lifestyle. From full traditional braces to Invisalign clear aligners, she can make patients smile!
Dr. Lexie earned her bachelors degree in biology from Saint Marys College of California.She was an honor student and a member of the womens rowing team.Dr. Lexie studied abroad at Sydney University, where she combined her love of biology with the great surfing in Australia! Thenshe attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni Dental School in San Francisco.She graduated with honors and began her orthodontic residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
During her residency, Dr. Lexiewas a member of the craniofacial team at Childrens National Medical Center, where she treated patients with cleft lips, cleft palates, and craniofacial abnormalities.Dr. Lexie had the privilege to work with a team of talented doctors, surgeons, and leading experts to treat patients successfully witha combination of orthodontics and orthognathic (jaw) surgery.
Dr.Lexie is a board certified orthodontist. In order to become board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), an individual orthodontist is thoroughly tested by a highly respected panelof examiners to demonstrate their orthodontic knowledge, critical skills and judgement. The ABO certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
Dr. Lexie has a passion to learn.She frequently attends continuing education classes all over the country.She continually wants to bring back the latest techniques and technology to help her patients achieve the best smile possible.
Dr. Lexie and Dr. Dao were married in 2011 and live in Roseville. They have threedaughters that can often be seen visiting the office. When Dr. Lexie is not working, she can be found visiting with friends and family, working out, trying new restaurants, or traveling the world and learning about new places and cultures.
Dr. Lexie continually gives back to the community. She has both organized and participated in multiple volunteer dental trips and activities in both the local community and the world. She adopts children yearly from the Sacramento Dental Societys Smile for Kids Program, to provide the neediest children in our community a chance to improve their smile through orthodontics.
Dr. Bradley Thompson was born and raised in Playa Del Rey, CA. He left Southern California for his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. During this time he went on a dental mission trip to the Galapagos Islands and discovered he wanted to become a dentist. He soon returned to study dentistry at the University of Southern California and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree there.
Dr Thompson resides here in Roseville with his wifeSarah and their three children. In his spare time Dr. Thompson enjoys traveling, playing soccer, watching sports, mountain bikingand spending time with his family. He aims to provide the highest quality care to all of his patients.

Best dental experience I've ever had, Dr. Roop is amazing! She filled a difficult cavity on one of my wisdom teeth, she was willing to do it instead of the easy extraction. I highly recommend Dr. Roop she'll make you want to take care of your teeth too! The communication is awesome with periodic text appointment reminders and phone calls regarding cancellations to help you get in sooner great job guys! It's so much easier to take care of your teeth when you love your dentist

If you haven't been to Douglas Dental, why the heck not? This place is amazing and always has been. I have been going to them since they were actually on Douglas Blvd and will continue to see Dr. Dao until he retires. He is friendly and personal while still being super proficient and professional. His staff and other Doctors have all been great and they are always willing to work with you on Appointments, as well as making sure to maximize insurance benefits. Absolutely phenomenal. Coming from someone with severe dental anxiety and trauma this is the best place I have ever been to! Everyone here is amazing, kind and so thoughtful. The building is beautiful and so clean/ modern. Dr. Dao is easily the best dentist I have ever had. I had not been to a dentist for 10+ years due to a past dental trauma. He always makes sure you're comfortable, is so kind and always remembers small things you've told him throughout past appointments. He will make sure you have plenty of anesthetic and is so precise in what he does. He explains all work so thoroughly and is always welcome to questions. Absolute 10/10 I would recommend Douglas Dental and Dr. Dao completely!!!

This place is the best the dentist are great the orthodontist is great the staff is great and my hygienist Veronica is the best! I have been doing my braces here and it has been a great experience the orthodontist are the best and Emily, I apologize I dont know her title, but she is at my orthodontist appts and she is always great and makes me feel comfortable and confident I am in good hands. After not going to the dentist at all for 2 years, Douglas Dental and Orthodontics was very welcoming. Dr. Roop is the most gentle and kind Dentist I've ever had, and the my assistant Hannah is always energetic and fun to talk to.

As somebody with previous adverse dental experiences, I was very hesitant and apprehensive about finding a new dentist. However, I am very pleased with the services I have received and procedures performed at Douglas Dental. Very personable, professional, and patient staff who explain procedures clearly, and make the experience as comfortable as possible.

Great Dental office which doesn't even feel like you're going to the dentist! The front staff is awesome and super welcoming. The Hygienists are really good and leave your teeth feeling clean, even though they always tell me I need to floss more. So lucky to have this place in our area!

I use to not like going to the dentist due to previous bad experiences at other offices. But... after going to Douglas Dental, all my previous worries have faded away. The office is wonderful and really well put together. The staff up front were super friendly and helpful. The Dr was professional, knowledgeable and gave me options (and explanations) for my dental care. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would (and have) recommend Douglass Dental and Orthodontics.

I can't say enough great things about our family switching over to Douglas Dental and Orthodontics 3 years ago from a dentist we had for 20 years. Dr Dao and his team are welcoming, professional and provide very modern technology to treat problems before they become a more challenging issue. My daughter has also worked with Dr Lexi for her braces and we have been pleased with the results. The office is super clean and they treat their clients like family. I would highly recommend Douglas Dental and Orthodontics for families.

I am not a big fan of going to the dentist, but every visit to Douglas Dental & Orthodontics is as pleasant as can be. The front office staff are friendly and Dr. Dao is darn good at what he does. I recently had an extraction and an implant done by Dr. Dao and both procedures were done very well. Plus, their office is beautiful and comfortable. Makes going to the dentist not so dreadful.

I've loved my experience with Douglas Dental and in particular, Dr. Dao & Dr. Lexie! They are true industry experts and do their job with such care and professionalism. It's not a secret that I am usually scared of the dentist chair. I dread dentist appointments. Douglas Dental makes me feel comfortable, answers all my questions, and always takes great care of me. I am in and out of the office quickly and there has never been any issues with communication. Highly recommend booking with Douglas Dental, the staff there are top notch!

I have had the best dental experience at this office. The moment you walk into the door, you feel like you're at home (the modern farmhouse decor helps) From the sweet coordinators at the front who kindly greeted me, to the wonderful hygienist, Arlene, who did a great job cleaning my teeth. She also educated me on ways to improve my hygiene and made my mouth feel brand new and squeaky clean! At my routine 6 month cleaning she even told me that my hygiene had improved! Woo! Dr. Dao is very kind, funny, smart and comforting. I have no anxiety coming to him and his team for my dental needs. I truly feel like I am in the best hands under his care. I recommend all my friends and family to this practice. 10/10 recommend!
