Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland.
Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, skiing and the outdoors. Dr. Peterson also practices law and teaches at a university.

Just like other reviewers have said, this place lacks of communication, professionalism, and they do unnecessary procedures by pressuring you to get them done, I was there to get my wisdom tooth extracted, it turns out the Dr wasn't even in, even though I spoke over the phone about this and they told me to come in next day, then the dentist pressured me to get a cleaning done, and she did a horrible job at that, in 10 minutes. I've never had such a sub par half *ssed cleaning done in my life. My poor mouth felt violated and traumatized, she scraped me up and made a mess all over my face. Other than the awful dentist, the rest of the staff were friendly and courteous. I will not be back.

Waste of time I went there to get a simple cleaning and instead the dentist talked to me for over half an hour. After our conversation she said that I needed a deep cleaning instead of the regular and after I refused and asked again for the regular she denied me and sent me back home.

Horrible place! Unprofessional. They will ruin your teeth. I waited over an hour to be seen by the dentist for a pain in my tooth. The dentist said I might have a cavity, but instead she recommended a cleaning and said I should come back for the cavity. So she did a cleaning with the ultrasonic tool. She was obviously rushed and went over the same area several times with lots of pressure. When I came home I looked in my mouth, I had a giant gap between my two front teeth. And I'm only 28!! Also, she scraped the enamel off one tooth and made drill marks into two other teeth. Worst dentist on the the planet! They will ruin your teeth. I still have the pain in my tooth but I will NOT be going back there.

I am very happy with the services Douglas Dental offered, I've had excellent preventive care. I've also, have two bridges and a partial done at Douglass Dental and the services and care was excellent. I have very good insurance and I could have went anywhere but I choose Douglas Dental. There prices are fair and they work with you. I am very very happy with the services I received and I am excited about my smile. Thank you Douglas Center.

I'd give it 5 stars except I had to wait a long time at both appointments. However, the dental care I received was wonderful. First appointment got cleaning and X-rays. Had some bad teeth in upper left quadrant that I need extracted. My second appointment for tooth extraction procedure went better than expected. Dr Hahm was able to get both teeth out (initially we thought I may need to see an oral surgeon for one of them). Was provided proper instructions on post-op care and prescriptions.
