Dr. Douglas A. Wyckoff, D.D.S., has been in general dentistry private practice since 1992 in Cameron, Missouri. He and his wife Melinda have two sons, Daniel Schmitz and Tryston Wyckoff. Dr. Wyckoff has been in private dental practice since 1992. He was selected as one of nine students into the first six-year dental program in 1986. He has taken an active role not only in his community and church but also with his dental organizations.
He has served on several boards including the Administrative Council (as chair) for the Cameron United Methodist Church, Cameron R-I School Board (currently President). He has been recognized on the state and national levels as the leading new dental leader. His peers have nominated and accepted him into the American College and International College of Dentists. Both organizations select fewer than 3% of dentists to be a part of them. Requirements to enter are based on contribution to the profession, ethical practice, and participation in their community.
While on the American Dental Associations Committee on the New Dentist, Dr. Wyckoff presented the Transitions and Student Debt Lectures to the six dental schools in the 6th District (Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia). These were presented at least every other year at each of the schools.

Melinda has worked in dentistry since 1987, from receptionist, dental assistant to office manager. In 1995, Melinda married a former high school friend, Doug Wyckoff! They have two sons, Daniel and Tryston. She enjoys floral design, gardening, traveling and relaxing by the pool. Her faith-life and journey with Christ are the center of her world. Each day she praises God for blessing her with her husband, sons, daughter-in-law, family, and friends.
Tangela began her career in the dental field in 1989. She earned her Dental Assisting Certificate in 1990 and worked in general dentistry and oral surgery. She then decided to delve into the insurance and management areas of the dental office more than 25 years ago. Tangela is married and has four children. Her family keeps her busy with their many activities and adventures! She enjoys traveling, softball and dirt track racing.
Tami has worked in the dental field since 1999. She started her career as front office coordinator and moved into assisting from there. She has experience in Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, General Dentistry & is a certified EFDA. She married & is a proud mother of five & keeps busy with the family farm.
Courtney began her dental career with our team in 2006. She has worked all facets of our office, including scheduling coordinator, assistant, business assistant and now, Registered Dental Hygienist. She earned her degree in 2013 from NCMC and Hillyard Technical Center. She has one child, Lexi and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2000.She too, has been with our team from the beginning of her career but had moved out of state for several years, due to her husband's position with his job. She has since moved back to Missouri and rejoined our office in 2017. Rachel is married and has 3 sons, which keep her very busy with their sporting activities.

This is a very courteous and a very professional organization. They made sure I was comfortable and informed of my procedure. They answered all my questions and Dr. Wyckoff saw to it that I was completely numb before proceeding and to let him know if I experienced any pain. Overall the staff is wonderful and they took the time to discuss options with me in the beginning with dignity and respect. I appreciate all of you very much! Thank you.

Excellent visit for my wife and I. Friendliest team and yet professional, which makes for a relaxing experience to the dentist. Dr. Wyckoff and his staff all deserve better than 5 golden stars. Thanks to each one. I highly recommend this office in anyone's future.

This is a true team of collaborators working for their patients. I had a tough issue today and the entire office worked to help me during their lunch time. They didn't give up until things were perfect! It is a professional but fun environment from the time you walk in until you leave.

Had to give a one because it would not let me give a zero. He is rude short and unprofessional. He would not treat my autistic stepson at a scheduled appointment because it would take too long . Experiences with other family members no much better. Better dentists here than him.

Dr. Wyckoff has been my choice for a dentist for a long time. He has always given me a straight up approach and not the big sales pitch like I have had at other places.. He is fair and I do not cringe (as much) when I go to the dentist anymore. I am a weenie when it comes to dental work but I trust him with it..

I am a "white knuckle dental patient". I have had some not so pleasant other dental experiences in the past at other places. Bottom line, I was looking for someone I could trust. From the time I made my phone call for an appointment until I walked out the door I was well at ease. The level of skill and knowledge was top notch. Well worth the travel to his office from Kansas City.

I always receive personal care with every visit. Everyone at the office is professional, caring, and attentive. I have special medical issues that Dr. Wyckoff understands and is very knowledgeable and sensitive to my issues.

I have so much respect for this man. Dr. Wyckoff is someone who stands by his word, and by his work. He recently re-did a crown for me that I just wasn't 100% satisfied with and I couldn't be happier with how it was fixed. I would recommend Dr Wyckoff to anyone looking for a quality dentist who will stand by the work he does and never make you feel bad about whatever situation your teeth are in. He's a 10/10 in my book!

They turned me into collections for $112.00!! I made an appointment for my daughter. I called and spoke to the receptionist to reschedule (single mom working full-time) she stated I owed a fee for "no call no show" ! I felt very uncomfortable that they would Not let me back in the room with her & the dentist (which I never met) she was 7yrs old!
