Dr. Roger Tipton is a specialist in dentistry for kids and those with special needs (a pediatric dentist) in Lubbock, Texas. After receiving his dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry, he continued his specialty training at Baylor, receiving his master's degree with rotations at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and Children's Medical Center in Dallas. For those French-speaking West Texans, you will feel especially at ease with Dr. Roger since he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in French at Texas Tech University and also speaks French.

Dr. Roger began practicing in 1994 and is one of the few pediatric dentists to have earned his Pediatric Dental Board Certification which is a voluntary effort in continuing education that requires personally treated case presentations for critical review by a panel of nationally respected peers.

It is his goal to make your child's first dental experiences positive for a lifetime of good dental care! Your child may even forget he/she is at the dentist in our fun, positive atmosphere. Safety for your child during dental procedures is also of primary importance and concern to Dr. Roger. Dr. Roger maintains current training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and utilizes the services of an anesthesiologist MD when extensive dental procedures are necessary. Monitors and equipment are on site that exceed the minimum standards required for safely administering sedation.

Dr. Roger is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and past president of the South Plains Dental Society and past Chairman for Children's Dental Health.

Dr. Roger practices with Dr. Nadene, who is a board-certified orthodontist. Together they trained at the New York Medical Center to deliver nasoalveolar molding treatment to newborn patients with cleft lip and palate, not previously available in the Lubbock area.

Dr. Nadene Tipton is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Combined Sciences. She then attended Baylor College of Dentistry and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery along with her Master of Science degree and certificate in orthodontics in 1994. Since then, she has received her Diplomate status with the American Board of Orthodontics, a voluntary effort in continuing education that requires personally treated case presentations for critical review by a panel of nationally respected peers.

Dr. Nadene was named the 49th recipient of the C.T. Rowland Award for Excellence in Orthodontics in 2003. This honor is awarded to the new member of the Charles H. Tweed study group, who displays the most outstanding proficiency in clinical orthodontics. Dr. Nadene is the first woman to receive this award.

Dr. Nadene is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. She has also served as chairperson for Children's Dental Health and was instrumental in securing the dental exhibit at the Science Spectrum.

Dr. Schaub is a board certified anesthesiologist who serves patients in Lubbock, Texas. He grew up in the small West Texas town of Sam Norwood. Sam Norwood is located in the panhandle of Texas near Wellington. He received his undergraduate degree in biology/chemistry from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas. Dr. Schaub's deep West Texas roots transplanted him to Houston where he completed medical school at the University of Texas at Houston. After receiving his medical degree, he moved back to Lubbock where he did his medical residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Schaub has been practicing in Lubbock since 1991. He is currently a practicing medical associate of BG Anesthesia and NorthStar Surgical Center. Dr. Schaub maintains up-to-date training in continuing education and utilizes state-of-the-art technology and equipment. Double T Smiles is proud to offer onsite equipment and monitors which exceed the minimum standards required for safe sedation administering. We are proud to have Dr. Schaub on our team when extensive dental procedures are necessary.

When Dr. Schaub is not providing patient care, he can be found on a local golf course or strumming the strings of his guitars. Dr. Schaub married his high school sweetheart, Janice. They have one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Lauren, and one daughter, Leasha.

I have been a part of the Tipton Team since graduating from Texas Tech with a BBA in Management in 2000! While at school, I met my husband, Todd; who, I am proud to say, is on the Lubbock Fire Department. We stay very busy with our three children: Averi, Jayci, and Kiser.

Thanks to the Tiptons, I am CPR certified, a certified Nitrous Oxide monitor, and certified in both dental and orthodontic assisting. I have made so many wonderful friendships throughout the years with amazing co-workers and patients. When Im not at Double T Smiles (aka - my second home), I enjoy spending time with great friends and watching sports, especially Texas Rangers baseball and all things Texas Tech!

I grew up in Amarillo where I received my AAS in Hygiene in 2007 from Amarillo College. This rewarding career brought my family to Lubbock and I became a hygienist for Double T Smiles in 2010. The Lord has blessed me with three marvelous boys that always keep me on the go! In my spare time, I enjoy church activities and volunteering with various organizations.

Double T Smiles has embraced me with open arms and quickly become my family. Drs. Roger and Nadene are an amazing team that I am honored to be a part of. The incredible staff, sweet kids, and caring parents make work seem more like the beginning of an exciting journey with no map or agenda! My daily goals are to help each patient gain and maintain a positive outlook regarding their oral health and to provide proficient care to everyone I come into contact with. I joined the Double T Smiles family in 2015, and I honestly couldn't love my job more! I graduated in 2014, from Amarillo College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I am very passionate about educating patients on their oral health, making connections, and sending them home with shiny smiles! Working in pediatrics is so fun and rewarding. Our amazing little patients, their families, and our friendly and energetic team make it impossible to have a bad day.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two little girls, and I also have a passion for musicplaying the piano and singing. I am very blessed to be a part of the team here at Double-T Smiles and getting to do what I love, while having fun at the same time.

I received my RDA license in 2004 and began working as an orthodontic clinician. In 2007, I joined the Double T Smiles family and am currently the lead dental clinician, as well as the pediatric and cleft palate clinical coordinator for Double T Smiles. Working for Drs. Roger and Nadene has truly been a blessing. I love that we are a family that truly cares for each other and our patients.

When I'm not at work, I'm usually spending time with my husband, Jonathan and our two boys, Kannan and Lincoln. Our two cats, Scarlet and Elsa, complete our family. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cheering Kannan on in sports, and working out.

I have been a part of the Double T Smiles family since 2014. I began as the sterilization coordinator and received my certification as a dental clinician shortly after. I now work full-time as a dental assistant for Dr. Roger. From the doctors to the staff, I truly believe that I work with the greatest group of people.

When Im not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Phillip, and our four kids: Brookelynn, Luke, Ethan, and Emily. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping. You can usually find me with a book in my hand as I am obsessed with reading or out at the softball fields, watching our youngest play.

My name is Tara, and I'm a Patient Coordinator for Dr. Nadene. You could say our whole family has been part of the Double T Smiles team for many years because we have all been patients of Dr. Nadene. That includes myself, my husband, Abner, and our twin daughters, Kiersten and Kelsie. I joined the team in 2013 and honestly look forward to coming to work each and every day! I love my work family and all the families that visit us each day.

As for my family away from work, we welcomed 2 sons-in-law into our family in 2016...and then our family quickly grew by 2 more! We were blessed with our first grandson, Ridge, on July 17, 2017 and our second grandson, Briggs, was born on January 25, 2018. Outside of work, we spend every spare moment possible with our kids and grandkids!

I moved to Petersburg in the spring of 2012 with my husband, Coy, and our fur babies: Jewels, Jessa, Chilton, and Eddie. I spend my downtime riding tractors, gardening, reading, traveling, and watching Texas Tech football.

Hi, I'm Melissa and I joined the amazing Double T Smiles team in 2007! I began as the orthodontic patient coordinator. In 2008, I became a Certified Orthodontic Clinician in addition to the Marketing Coordinator. I found my current role as the Treatment Coordinator in 2013. I truly enjoy my job and getting the opportunity to build relationships with our patients and their families. I love helping create beautiful smiles every day, as well as, planning and organizing fun contests and events for our awesome patients.

I am from Shallowater and graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 2005. I am married to my husband Wade and we have been blessed with our precious girls, Hope and Gracie, who keep us very busy! We love being outdoors, visiting our family's ranch, going to sporting events, being involved in our community and church, traveling, and most of all spending time with our family and friends.

Hi! Im Robin. I was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, and began my life in Lubbock by attending Texas Tech University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and married my sweet husband, Matt, in 1997. We have a daughter named Macy who keeps us very busy and entertained. You can most often find us outside, playing with our two dogs, camping, riding bikes, kayaking, or on a really good day, at the beach!

I joined the Double T Smiles team in 2007 and am currently the Orthodontic Clinical Coordinator. I really enjoy working with our team in caring for our patients because our patients are the BEST! Dr. Nadene provides her clinicians with constant on-the-job training and continuing education courses, which helps me to feel confident in implementing the unique treatment plan of each and every patient. Hello! My name is Olivia. I grew up in Michigan, but have called Texas home since 2007. My family includes my husband, Josh, our two boys, Jace and Jett, and our dog, Bear. My sons are proud New Home Leopards.

I joined the Double T Smiles family in 2014 and what a blessing it has been! I love my co-workers and look forward to making a difference in every patient I see. When I am not with your kids at Double T Smiles, I am usually enjoying the outdoors with my family.

I joined the Double T Smiles team in 2017 as an orthodontic clinician. I love my job and all of the people I meet on a daily basis. I'm also bilingual and can help communicate treatment plans to families when needed.

I'm super blessed to have been a part of the Double T family since May 2018. It's an honor to be part of a team that works together to make a difference in your child's life! Outside of work, I love spending time with my kids and loved ones. We love to camp and spend time in the mountains as well as at the lake!

I have been a part of the Double T Smiles family since 2000! I started in sterilization and then moved to the ortho clinic as a clinician. During this time, I graduated from Texas Tech with a B.S. in General Studies (my areas of focus were: Natural and Behavioral Sciences, as well as French). Shortly after, I completed my RDA Certification.

Since 2008, I have been the Lab Technician for the office. I fabricate appliances (Rapid Palatal Expanders, Space Maintainers, Habit Appliances, etc.) and Acrylic Retainers! Recently, I have had the privilege to a part of the NAM (Nasoalveolar Molding) team by fabricating the bases of the NAMs in the lab. I love the lab life but, every once in a while, you may see me working with patients in the clinic or helping up front with scheduling!

When I'm not at the office, I love spending time with my sweet husband, Matt, and our two kiddos. Life is never dull at our house and days at home are my favorite! I enjoy playing the trumpet in the church orchestra. I also serve on the PTA boards at two different schools and love to volunteer my time to help where it's needed. When time and schedule allow, you may just catch me with a Harry Potter book in my hand, just enjoying the moment.
