Dr. Gaunt is originally from Atlanta, GA. He received his B.S. degree from Auburn University and his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Following a brief time in a Birmingham, Alabama office and passing the Northeast Regional Dental Board, he began a private practice near Williamsport, PA.
Dr. Gaunt spent most of his eleven years at that practice narrowing his focus and post- graduate education to the aesthetic restoration of teeth. In keeping with his philosophy to restore teeth to their most natural condition possible and as conservatively as possible, Dr. Gaunt decided in 1995 to remove silver fillings from his treatment options. In fact, whenever possible, he tries to use metal-free alternatives to restoring teeth. In 2002, Dr. Gaunt brought this philosophy and his enthusiasm for dentistry to Dothan, AL, which was closer to home. This is where he and his wife Lisa decided to raise their three children: Drew, Aubrey, and Emery.
Dr. Gaunt is known by our patients to have a genuine desire for helping people obtain healthy, beautiful smiles. This attitude is easily evident in his ability to carefully listen, educate, and accurately discern his patient's individual wants and needs.

Starla is originally from Dothan Alabama. She attended Auburn University and finished with her Degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Santa Rosa Junior College in beautiful Sonoma County in Northern California. Starlas career in Dentistry spans over 15 years in Alabama and California. She is also certified in periodontal laser therapy and local anesthetic. Starla is married with two amazing boys! Outside of work, there is nothing she enjoys more than watching her boys play football, basketball, and baseball.
Ashley first joined our practice in 2017 and has over 15 years of experience in Dentistry. Originally from Cottonwood, Ashley is married to her best friend Chad and has two wonderful boys, Waylon and Cody. Her interests outside of Dentistry include spending time with her loved ones, watching her kids play baseball, basketball and football. Ashley and her family enjoy riding 4-wheelers, going to the beach and fishing.
Sierra has been with our practice since 2017. Originally from Jack, Alabama, she attended ESCC before pursuing her dental education at Birmingham Dental Assistant School. She is a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) Sierra has a son named Connor. In her free time, she hangs out with family, bakes, shops and goes to the beach.

Brianna is the newest addition to our team. She is a 2017 graduate of Northside Methodist Academy. Brianna married the love of her life, Tyler, in September 2020! They have an awesome dog named Josie. Brianna was born and raised in true Alabama fashion: She enjoys riding 4-wheelers, watching baseball and sitting by good bonfire.
Caroline has been with our practice since August 2020. She was born in Dothan, into a military family. Raised in Northern Virginia, she and her family moved back to their roots after Caroline finished High School. Caroline has over 20 years in Financing and Sales. She has her Associates Degree from Wallace Community College. Caroline is married to her wonderful husband George. Caroline has two daughters, Gracie, who is attending college in Georgia and Emma who is a cheerleader at Ashford High School. She enjoys watching football and spending time with family, including her fur-baby Chloe.
