Dr. Hermans is a dedicated dentist with more than 27 years of experience. His passion and love for dentistry shows with each treatment, and he truly puts his patients first. Dr. Hermans cares about people as a whole, and not just their mouths, and he goes the extra mile to make sure he does everything he can for everyone who comes to us for care. Dr. Hermans has continued practicing for three decades because of his love for our patients; for him, the relationships he has cultivated over the years are the real payoff.
Dr. Hermans earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1986. He previously studied at Cal Poly Pomona and has completed multiple continuing education courses through University of California, Los Angeles, the University of Southern California and Loma Linda School of Dentistry.
Every year he goes above and beyond to earn more than the required number of continuing education credits because he is passionate about dentistry and truly enjoys learning. Dr. Hermans is fascinated by the newest technology in treatment options and loves finding new ways to serve our patients. Recently, his main focuses of study have been implants and laser-assisted dentistry.
A native of southern California, Dr. Hermans resides in Camarillo with Trudy, the love of his life. They have three grown daughters, as well as three grandchildren. A car enthusiast, Dr. Hermans is part of a local racing club and can be found qualifying in his Mustang in his free time.
Because of the experiences Dr. Hermans and Trudy have had with their special-needs daughter, they have remained involved in giving back to the programs that have assisted her, such as the Special Olympics and Camarillo AYSO, a local soccer league. Both Dr. Hermans and Trudy also find it important to support other local organizations, such as high school sports, and feel honored to support individual fundraisers in our community.

Trudy, who is married to Dr. Hermans, can usually be found at the front desk, and is very knowledgeable about all aspects of our office. She loves working with Dr. Hermans because he has such a passion for dentistry and a caring chairside demeanor that we know patients enjoy.
Colleen is a California native. She graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, earning a BA in Liberal Arts. She met her husband Brian in college and they were married in 1988, and moved to Camarillo in 1990. They have two daughters, two son in-laws, one son,a beautiful grandson and granddaughter who unfortunately livein Texas.
Having entered the dental field in 1988, Mary brings a wealth of knowledge to our office every day! She does whatever she can to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care, and works hard to help them improve and maintain health of their teeth and gums.
Lisa enjoys working with our patient family, and making sure they receive the best care possible for lifelong dental health. She does this by educating patients about preventing periodontal (gum) disease, performing oral cancer screenings, providing prophylaxis and fluoride treatments, taking X-rays, assessing patients periodontal health, and so much more!
Lisa has always wanted to work closely with patients yet have time to nurture her growing family. She is thankful the hygiene profession has allowed her to do just that! Sheis amother of three,has lived Camarillo her entire life and enjoys thegrowing community we have.

Dr. Hermans and his staff perform dental services in a very professional manner. They are the friendliest people you could find in a dental office and I have enjoyed our long term relationship. It's not that I enjoy dental work, but in Dr. Hermans office, it is done in a way that is rapid and tolerable.

I went to the dentist on May 20th and my dentist Doctor Herman's performed the procedure. The procedure I had performed was the upper left footh in my mouth in which was in need of a crown. The dentist took his time and put a temporary crown until June first in which I will then get my permanent crown. Thank You!

I have been a patient of Dr. Herman's for many years. He is top notch! He always take the time to explain procedures and answer any questions. He lessens fears and any confusion I might have. I can't imagine ever having anyone else take care of my teeth!

Dr. Hermans literally saved my teeth. A periodontal specialist felt it was time to go to implants on my front teeth! Dr, Hermans (whom I visited to enlist his help in doing the regular dental part of the implant procedure that the specialist does not do) devised a plan to try to save my teeth. And it worked! No implants, no extractions. (even though Dr. Hermans also does implants, he tried to save my teeth.) Forever grateful, forever his patient. Plus his staff is wonderful too.

I recently had a tooth implant completed by Dr. Hermans. Not only is his work very professional, he always attempts to put me at ease by using some humor at the beginning of each appointment. Although I had two appointments since COVID regulations began, the office and patient rooms are kept immaculate, and I have not gotten sick. The staff are also accommodating and greatly lessened my fears. Joy Greenberg
