Horrible experience. Do not go here. The office staff and hygienists are all very nice, but I was unhappy with Dr Bloom's work. He is very friendly to his patients, but he told me I had 4 cavities that needed to be done, and a root canal of which he gave me no counseling on, just told me that he could do it and he'd put a crown on it (tooth was in the front, my new dentist told me to never get a crown on the front teeth for a root canal if you don't absolutely need one). I left the office in tears because it seemed like I had no other option - again I wasn't given counseling on options. After this, and being cancelled on three times, I switched dentists. My new dentist said that I never had a cavity that Dr Bloom said I had, so really it seems like they just want money.

Had my third visit here today after moving to Vermont in spring and couldn't be happier. Very friendly, skilled staff and no-wait appointments in a clean, cozy setting. Dr. Bloom has decades of experience and a quick wit, Claire is an ace dental assistant, and Madison is honestly the best hygienist you'll ever find. Thanks to Noreen for keeping my insurance straight with no surprise bills!

I hate to leave such a poor review after I had a great appointment with my hygienist. To add, a hygienist who served me last even remembered my name and said hello as she saw me. But my experience with Norene as I was leaving completely ruined my visit. I needed to check in on an issue for which I'd left a message for the previous week. Since I hadn't heard back, I brought it up. I was then given attitude that it was already resolved, but how was I to know without anyone sharing that information with me. Furthermore, Norene went on to defend herself although I had only asked for an update. I had other items to address with her but backed away. A simple customer service phone call, even to advise me that I wouldn't be able to address the issue on my spouses behalf, would have been fine. I felt attacked for asking a simple question. This poor experience has led me to start searching for new providers.

Dr. Bloom and his staff are very professional and accommodating. I started going there with an emergency call, they were the only office that would see me as I was not a patient. They do a great job and I will continue to go there.

I had to switch to a new dentist for work reasons so today was my first going to Dorest Street Family dental and they are, by far, the best dental group I have been to. From the moment I walked into the door to wonderful reception to the very end. I absolutely loved working with the woman who did my X-rays and my cleaning. She was so kind and warm hearted and did wonderful. The Doctor was the same and had a wonderful sense of humor making me smile. Highly highly recommend and look forward to staying with them

What a great dentistry that sits in the parking lot of the South Burlington Mail. Personal care with professionals that truly care!
