Rachel Dorfner, DMD, specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry at Dorfner Dental Studio in Burlington, New Jersey. Her goal is to treat patients comprehensively, create and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles, and alleviate the anxiety that many patients associate with going to the dentist.
Dr. Dorfner was born and raised in South Jersey. She has wanted to be a dentist since the young age of 7. Having a multitude of cavities along with erupted permanent teeth, she was always attending the dentist and orthodontist as a child. She knew she wanted a job where she could independently take care of her family and realized that dentistry was the answer. After three sets of braces, root canals, crowns and bridges,fillings, and many cleanings, Dr. Dorfner has been through it all and understands the anxiety of the dental office.
She spent eight years in South Florida while attending the University of Miami for her undergraduate education and Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine before heading out west to California. Dr. Dorfner completedher residency at Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics, affiliated with NYU Langone, pursuing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry.

After not being to the dentist for YEARS I finally decided it was time for me to go. I hated my last dentist so I was on the hunt for a new one & then there was Dr. Dorfner. She was kind, gentle & listened to all my concerns. The issues she addressed weren't nearly as bad as the last dentist told me they were. I have never cried happy tears at a dentist office. Thank you so much Dr Dorfner for making me not as afraid of the dentist anymore & putting my mind at ease. I would recommend her to ANYONE, especially someone who fears the dentist.

Dr Dorfner was patient friendly knowledgeable and gentle. Even her staff Sierra was great and caring. The office was clean and new. I'm generally anxious at dentists, but Dr Dorfner did all she could to make me feel at ease.
