Dr. Jake Dorfman grew up in nearby Richboro, PA and is proud to come home and create beautiful smiles in Bucks County and the greater Philadelphia area. Dr. Jake graduated from Council Rock South High School where he was a member of the ice hockey and basketball teams. Following high school, Dr. Jake attended Penn State University where he graduated with honors and received a Bachelors degree in Biobehavioral Health.
After completing a one-year dental internship in New York City, he went on to attend Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. There, he earned his DMD degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Jake worked as an associate orthodontistin the Lehigh Valley priorto joining Dorfman Orthodontic Group. It was during this time that Dr. Jake earnedhis Board Certification from the American Board of Orthodontics, an achievement that shows his commitment to quality careand lifelong education.
Personally, he and his wife Claire are proud parents to their daughter, Sloane. When Dr. Jake is not straightening teeth, he enjoysspendingtime with friends and family, down the shore with abook in his hand, on a golf course, and cheering on all of the Philly sports teams!

(:#smile:)I love how friendly the staff is. Dr Dorfman explains everything clearly and is nice to have a conversation with. I have just gotten my braces off and my teeth are perfect thanks to them. And I will wear my retainer like said so they stay that way. Thank you guys so much! I now feel proud to wear my smile. #DOGSTRONG #love4all

I'm am so glad I chose to bring my daughter to Dorfman Orthodontic Group after looking around for the best possible place for her treatment plan. The staff has always been kind and accommodating. Dr Dorfman's office is wonderful! They have later after school appointments which is a huge help for busy families and two locations within a couple miles of my home. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything is great detail. Highly recommend!

Always a pleasure. My kids are comfortable here and always comment about how nice all of the staff are. I never have an issue getting an appointment scheduled or a question answered. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Dr. Jake is always pleasant and smiling and always takes the time to let me know how my kid's treatment is progressing. Couldn't recommend a nicer practice!

This is the best orthodontist there is!!! My daughter needs extensive work done and Dr Dorfman has gone over every detail and made it so we understood what was going on. Has a great plan going forward. He comes out to the waiting room and greets parents and gives updates all the time!!! He is amazing. His staff is absolutely incredible especially Camille. My daughter actually looks forward to going into the office!
