Dr. Doreen Wascow was raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She attended Loyola University of Chicago for undergraduate stuies in biology. She went on to pursue a career in dentistry at the University of Illinois dental school, and graduated in 1988. Since 1988 she has been practicing dentistry at the same office in Mundelein. In addition to general dentistry, she enjoys spending time in Vernon Hills with her husband and two children.
Dr. Wascows dental assistant , Kim, has been with her since 1992. Kim was trained at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. She has two grown children, Steven and Brian, and one grandson, Tristan.
Dr. Wascows dental hygienist, Brooke, has been with her since 2003. She recieved a degree in hygiene and a BS at Marquette University. She has a husband, Travis, and loves spending time with her niece, AnnaBelle.

Woke up one morning with swelling and pain in my cheek. Because my last visit with Dr. Roessler included some concern about a molar on that same side, I decided to see him first to see if I needed a root canal. He determined that was not the case and informed me that I had a blocked salivary gland. The problem was treated and cleared up in 48 hours.

Simply the Best - I have had terrible luck with my teeth and dentists in the past. All of that changed when my husband encouraged me to see his life long family dentist - Dr. Wascoe and Kim have helped me to regain my smile. They advise and treat as though you're family- nothing more or less. I've had more than my fair share of dental emergencies- including breaking front tooth - and Dr. Wascoe and staff have always accommodated and put me back together. I am grateful for this beautiful smile and finally joining the Dr. Wascoe family!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! My family and I have been going to this dentist for many years and they are absolutely amazing! Everyone is super friendly and very comforting. The whole space is also very calming, quiet, comfortable, and clean. My dad is a total wimp at the dentist but they know exactly how to comfort him. They also give prizes to kids and they keep everyone smiling!! :) I 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!! -The Wilkins Family

Dr. Doreen Wascow and her staff provide a comfortable, pleasant environment. Their years of experience are reflected by their efficient and professionally run office. I've been going to that office for years, maybe not as often as I should, but for a long time. Dr. Wascow and her staff are pleasant and friendly, but more than that they show genuine concern for my dental health taking the time to answer questions and explain procedures. They are willing to share their knowledge and educate me on how to better take care of my teeth and mouth. Great experience, absolutely the best. Thank you Dr. Wascow, Kim, and Linda.

Every tooth that Dr. Doreen Wascow touch, the tooth basically die and need a root canal. I burnt about 3k here and out of pocket about 1k and did about10 filling on 5 teeth,. Before I come here, yes there were cavity but don't hurt at all, after I got the filling, I started living in hell. The doctor here is incompetent and every time it just getting worse and worse. DON'T come here, for anything. Attached is my tooth dead nerve after having filling in Dr. Doreen Wascow's place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wascow for nearly 24 years. The office is always well kept and very clean. I am a working model and make a living with my smile, so having a good dentist is very important to me. There is no dentist that I would trust more. She has helped make/ maintain my teeth, and has been able to fit me into her schedule when I have an emergency. The staff is friendly, and pleasant to be around. All of this while being affordable. Highly recommend visiting Dr. Doreen!

I've had several dentists moving from the North Shore to Chicago, then to the Northwest suburbs, but no dentist I've engaged has been as conscientious, thorough, and considerate as Dr. Wascow. Regular appointments and emergencies. And as for the team, I am thoroughly impressed with my hygeniest. Fantastic group
