About three years ago I had a root canal performed at Dorchester Dental. I had to pay out of pocket ($800- which was a great deal of money for me) but I was assured that this would alleviate any future issues with that tooth once it was done. Recently, I went to Perfect Dental in Attleboro to have a cleaning and they took new X-Rays. The current X-Rays showed that a small infection had begun in the tooth that Dorchester Dental had done the root canal on. The dentist from Perfect Dental told me that the only possible explanation for this was that they didn't clean the root out thoroughly in the first place and she wrote a referral letter stating this, and recommended that they re-perform the procedure for free because they were at fault. I reached out to Dorchester Dental and sent them the paperwork and they denied responsibility, and refused to retreat the tooth. They were rude and dismissive when I tried to give them the opportunity to correct the situation. So, now I'm out $800 and I need to get the procedure done else where. I would never recommend this office- if they didn't want to retreat the tooth they could have provided a refund. I plan on making a complaint about this to the dental board of MA.

The work they did on mouth hurt while they were doing it, and still hurt now after they have put the fillings in. Terrible customer service, the lady basically told me my teeth were messed up because I did not pay a co-pay ! I WOULD NOT recommend them. Be aware.

So I had been experiencing pain in my tooth and needed to be seen ASAP. I called in and the staff was very polite and kind with assisting me with a Same day appointment ( 1h from time of call) I got to the office and the same kind polite mannered was displayed in the office. The Dr was super careful and worked with me as I told him my fear of dentist. I had to have a tooth removed and the Dr did an amazing job at making sure I was as comfortable as possible before even beginning to remove the tooth. In my condition the Dr did an amazing job with extracting the tooth! Very very little pain (due to my nerve exposure). Would definitely recommend!

My initial experience with the receptionist was great! She was friendly and attentive. However, my actual dental experience here was nightmarish. This is most painful dental work, fillings repair, I have had ever. When administering the local anesthetic the dentist technique was horrible he ended up striking the nerve that's within my jaw that sent immediate pain throughout my entire head. This technique is something all dentist should be aware of doing. bad technique will result in pure agony for the patient. The entire filling procedure was nothing but pain. I had high hope but was absolutely disappointed.

Unfortunately I had to have my tooth removed I was so scared it was gonna be painful and everything. Doctor Vu Vo did a great job, I didn't feel a thing! Hopefully it will heal just as painless!

Unfortunately I had to have my tooth removed I was so scared it was gonna be painful and everything. Doctor Vu Vo did a great job, I didn't feel a thing! Hopefully it will heal just as painless!
