Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Marina Amelinckx-Stasi comes from a family of dentists. She received her dental degree (D.M.D.) in 1997 from Universidad Central de Venezuela. Once graduated she worked as a general dentist in her moms private practice for 2 years and after that she decided to come to the United States to pursue her dream of becoming an Orthodontist.
In 2002, Dr. Amelinckx earned her D.M.D at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, in Ft. Lauderdale and 2 years later (2004) completed her residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the same school. She has been practicing Orthodontics in South Florida ever since.
Dr. Amelinckx is a member of numerous professional organizations, including American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, South Florida Academy of Orthodontists. She was the president of the Greater Miami Dental Association and the Miami Dade Dental Association in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
Dr. Amelinckx settles for nothing but excellence when it comes to orthodontic treatment. She makes use of the latest technology and newest techniques, devoting many hours a year to continuing education in order to provide her patients with the most up-to-date treatment options and the best possible care. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.

I believe that orthodontic treatment is something very important and delicate. You must be well advised and in the hands of a good professional. Dr. Marina, in addition to fulfilling these attributes, takes the time to explain everything in detail, listens to you and advises what she considers best, sincerely and honestly. She is also nice, sweet and easy to deal with. The best reference is hearing my son say that he is excited to see her and that he feels safe and confident with her. I feel the same. He loves her, and so do I. The office is state of the art. She and her team are the best, super professionals. For all this I decided to drive 45 minutes from home for each consultation. What a great experience! I brought my daughter for her first visit two months ago. Everyone in the office were extremely helpful and professional. The office is super clean. Dr. Marina took her time to show the x-rays, explain the treatment and gave us different options. I am glad I found this office and I highly recommend.

So we were vacationing in south Florida and my daughter's braces had come off. We were caught offguard with the situation. The staff was very kind to squeeze us in Dr Marina Amelinckx-Stasi's agenda and the Doctor was the most professional, sweetest person with our kid! In a few minutes, problem was solved and we were able to enjoy our few last days of vacations with our loved ones! I can't thank everybody enough for everything and will always recommend Dr Amelinckx-Stasi for all my family and friends who live in the Miami area!

I can express my concerns and embarrassments to her about my smile and she'll 100% work to alleviate them. I mean seriously work overtime to alleviate them!!! :-) Her staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming. The ladies at the front as well as the techs are all testament to environment Dr. A creates for her patients. I recommend whole heartedly Doral Smiles Orthodontics. They'll work with you on payments.
