Ambulance brought Mr to ER. Presented with high fever, unable to walk, confusion, severe arm tremors. I thought he had another stroke! DIAGNOSIS: Sepsis from bladder infection. ICU: Can not praise the professionalism and compassion shown to my husband (and to me.) I was concerned enough with this serious diagnosis to call our children from across the US. ICU nurses Yvonne, Katrina, Emmi, Danielle, and Becca, and their CNA's (whose names I didn't get) went out of their ways to make sure we understood what was happening and what the care plan entailed. Dr Binard and Dr Heise served us as well. Their informed calm eased my tremendous anxiety. Mr Wonderful is older than I and intellectually, I understand he will probably pass before I do....I just didn't want it to be NOW. DOOR COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER is a small, rural hospital. But they have big-city, high-tech practices and a highly qualified staff to insure the most positive outcomes available. Rest easy at DCMC! (This is a pre-billing review. Whatever this ordeal may cost, I have Mr Wonderful again. Thank you again, DOOR COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER.)

Saturday I fractured my pelvis. I want to be fair to the ER and say I am not sure how busy they were. Having said that, the ER doctor started out by checking my wrong hip. The ER nurse really needs bedside instruction. Twice he came into my room unaware of what had transpired since his last visit check on me. Both times he left the room in a hurry. Finally, I had four fractures in my pelvis and was never offered any pain management. When I asked ER doctor for some Aleve, it never came. When I was transferred to the second floor I had a wonderful experience. The nurses, Holly, Kody, Naomi, and Lacy were all attentive and had excellent bedside manners. They also immediately hopped on my pain management. What a dichotomy in the same hospital.

Nurse Ashley and Dr Thompson were so kind and respectful. Also thanks to the EMT and the sweet lady that drew my blood and gave me warm blankets. You all are appreciated.

Had to visit the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit while on my recent vacation. This hospital was unwilling to work with my medical provider but instead got into a turf war with them. I felt like the medical professionals here believed that I was an unreliable source about my own body. And when I asked questions rather than just accepting what they said, they attempted to gaslight me. Also from some conversations I overheard between employees while I waited in the lobby, it sounds like they don't pay their employees very well and are very understaffed right now.

I received excellent care and attention during my ER visit - little wait time, kind/compassionate staff with excellent communication skills and competency. Nice to know for any future issues. Thanks!

This is a band-aid station.... I just got a bill for almost $2000 from visits that I made almost 2 years ago no other invoices had been sent and I've had many bills from here go to collections because they would not send me the invoices. I've been treated terribly here so many times. I was pregnant and going through bellin but since I lived in Sturgeon bay and was in active labor suddenly I went to door county hospital as it was an emergency they gave me meds to stop the contractions and said 'next time just go to green bay' they have mistreated my son when he was a newborn and I am currently 4 weeks pregnant. I had some pain and went into the er. They told me since they couldn't see anything in the sac that I will most definitely miscarry but the ultrasound tec literally told me you probably won't see anything anyways.... these people do not know what they are doing. Stay away from here at all costs.

I came in noon after being seen in urgent care for what they said was either a kidney stone or my appendix!! It is now 330 and I still have not been back to see a dr if it is my appendix and it bursts because they can't allow any one from urgent care to see me!!! Worst hospital I have been too! This not the first bad experience I have had here! Had a stroke at 22 and they said I was to young to have one and sent me home!! An hour latter I was rushed to Belin where I had to spend 3 days! What a joke of a hospital

Would leave zero if not for hospitality of nurses. The doctors don't take the time to actually look at their patients. I had an infection that a doctor suggested I gargle salt water. We went to Green Bay the next day and there was an abscess in my mouth. If you're a doctor treat your patients like you care about why they're there.

Recently not only had COVID shot but had occasion to have a cortisone shot as well. All went so well, no waiting, fast service and excellent organization. Everyone was polite, efficient and very personable. Thank you all!

This was my first time visiting the door county medical center urgent care. I have never felt so professionally disrespected while at a clinic in my entire life. I felt that the doctors were very stand off-ish. They did not completely explain to me about what they wanted to do while I was visiting. They barely gave me any eye contact and I just felt very very very uncomfortable. I had to wait for an hour and 45 minutes to be seen after they took my blood pressure and took down my information. The main doctor and also the trainee that was working on duty did not really listen or want to listen for that matter to what I had to say and they just basically put my comments, statements, and opinions to the side while they continued with what they wanted to do. It just seemed to me that my urgent needs at that present moment in time wasn't very urgent or convenient for them. I'm very disappointed and I was not satisfied with my visit there.

My primary physician for the past 8-10 years was Dr. Maria Chono Antonio. During this time I received excellent, personalized care. My concerns were always addressed and I was given handouts and follow-up information. I have a medical background, so my questions were always quite detailed. I recently moved to Florida. Upon hearing of this, Dr. Antonio reached out of her incredibly busy day and called me to wish me well. Brought tears to my eyes. THAT is what it means to be cared for by a physician.

I saw an orthopedic Dr, for very painful carpal tunnel. He barely talked to me for 5 minutes. Did not seem to even understand my symptoms at all or care. 2 months later I am still in extreme pain looking for options farther away because I know my needs will not be met here.

Covid-19 testing staff awesome dedicated friendly service. Second time being tested for work at a different location and staff attitude is always positive in a negative stressful world. Thank you for your service!

Our little guy had just finished up antibiotics prior to our vacation. We were here 2 days and he had a low grade fever & wasn't feeling well. We got in and out of urgent care quickly with the meds he needed. The security officer was so friendly and helpful as well as the receptionist. The nurse and doctor were great and really know how to help kids feel comfortable. They even gave him a stuffed animal & that has been his favorite vacation souvenir. I would highly recommend them & would come back in an instant if we needed to.

Had the pleasure of a visit today to look at an infected finger. The staff was terrific. In and out in about 30 minutes. No issues with out of state insurance and not a bunch of questions as to how it happened. Highly recommend this facility.

My mother had an appointment due to a clot in her leg. They refused to see her for her appointment due to the fact she is claustrophobic and can only wear a face shield. I guess all the vaccine shots the medical staff received ahead of everyone else still is not enough protection to do their job and take care of my mother. Go to Green Bay or any other medical center.

Came in with what turned out to be acute appendicitis. Sat there in excruciating pain. No updates regarding admission. No offer for a more comfortable place to wait. Lots of rule following. After 20 minutes they had the courtesy of wheeling me back from the front desk so they didn't have to look me in the eye. There was no one else in the waiting room.. Finally left and drove back to green bay. Aurora couldn't have been more accommodating. 5 hours later I'm home with appendix removed. Wonderful experience, completely opposite of this "health care" provider. Lots of talk about justice. Perhaps in my next life I'll come back as someone deserving of care. As the owner of a company, I know where this starts- right at the top Update: discovered post-op they found the appendix with a small tear. Had it burst prior to this visit or in transport on our own back to GB, that's a possible deadly situation, making this fiasco that much more shameful
